[ Objective: Take the badge from Magnus ]
[ Listen up, you idiot, I will only say this once. If your focus slips, your arms and legs will definitely get broken. And keep in mind, there is no healer on your team. You already left Aria in bed, so make your moves carefully... ]
Hearing this, Lucian gulped hard.
Crap...
Before the thought could even finish, A kick... landed flat right on his face.
BAMMMMMMM!
Rumble... rumble...
Dust and debris rained down from the ceiling as everyone’s gaze followed Lucian’s entire body was deeply embedded into the far stone wall of the arena. He had taken serious damage this time.
"LUCIANNN!" Sera screamed.
CLANG!
No one even saw her move. In a fraction of a second, Sera had completely closed the distance. Yet, her blazing molten sword was deadlocked, caught effortlessly between the thick fingers of Magnus’s glowing gauntlet.
Now practically nose-to-nose with the instructor, Sera’s expression morphed into that of a cornered, furious lioness. Gritting her teeth, she glared absolute murder right into Magnus’s smirking face as she completely lost her temper.
"You asshole, how dare you..."
"Haha... looks like I really struck a nerve, little girl."
Hearing his laugh, Sera’s anger simply boiled over. The chaos energy that she had spent the past month learning how to control and use under Myra’s training... she forgot it all. Her energy burst out completely.
Magnus’s instincts flared. he immediately pulled his gauntlet back and created some distance.
Before he could even get a moment to take a single breath, A massive shadow of a truck-sized ice boulder engulfed him as it came crashing straight down from above.
CRASH!
Though he managed to pulverized the giant mass of ice with a single upward thrust of his gauntlet.
Further back, Elira stood completely still, her face heavily shadowed. Seeing her intense blue aura leaking from her, Kaelen whimper and instinctively duck behind Lyria.
"H-holy... Mommy..."
Gripping the back of Lyria’s shirt and skirt, he held on tight.
"Kaelen, she is aiming at him, not you," Lyria sighed.
Elira glanced over her shoulder at Kaelen and said only one thing.
"Kaelen, don’t stop..."
"Ok, ok! I won’t I SWEAR!" he yelled nervously.
Whatever that signal meant, Kaelen instantly got the message. He knew exactly what to do.
As He forced himself to step out, slammed his staff onto the stone floor, and narrowed his eyes in pure concentration.
VWOOM!
A deep purple aura began to swirl around his body, as his eyes lit up with the same dark light.
This was exactly what Elira and Sera had been waiting for: Kaelen’s portals. The perfect way to remind this giant exactly who he was messing with.
Seeing someone land such a disgraceful kick right on the face of the love of their lives, all their strategies and plans went straight to hell.
No more holding back.. elira whispered and lunged into the portal.
Crossing through Kaelen’s portals, both girls began launching head-on strikes one after another.
Using the portals for mobility, they struck from every unpredictable angle — entering from the front, exiting from the side, striking from behind, and dropping from above.
Magnus took Elira’s heavy punches head-on, yet incredibly, Elira managed to weave and dodge every single one of his counter-strikes with the help of Kaelen’s portals.
Beside her, Sera continuously delivered fierce slashes infused with unstable chaos energy, which Magnus kept calmly deflecting with his glowing knuckles.
Though Magnus was no weakling either... The fight now relied entirely on pure focus. Both girls were keeping up head-on with a True Stage master.
The pace sped up even more, and all their movements started turning into a blur once again...
Still, despite their efforts, the attacks weren’t having much of an effect. Seeing her slashes continuously deflected, Sera grew visibly irritated.
Gritting her teeth, she took a few quick steps back out of the melee, taking a deep breath as she recalled Myra’s rigorous training.
Now handling Magnus all by herself, Elira successfully managed to land her punches.
Even though, in terms of hand-to-hand combat, Elira was an S+ while Magnus was a SS, Elira’s movements were highly advanced. After all, Lucian had gave her next-generation martial arts techniques.
As he absorbed the brunt of her flawless strikes, even Magnus couldn’t help but be impressed by her technique...
"What’s your name, girl...?"
She didn’t answer.
magnus frowned... "No talking? Fine, I get it. Still, I will say this... 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
A feral grin split his face. "You’ve got some serious guts."
Just as the words left his mouth, Elira drove her fist straight toward Magnus’s ribs, unleashing a powerful, wind-coated impact. The pressure tore at Magnus’s armour, making it rattle as the force of the wind slammed directly against it, yet he didn’t budge an inch from where he stood.
Behind them, Sera suddenly fell into a state of absolute serenity
Calm... Whenever a swordsman stays calm and lets their strike flow naturally, only then can they deal real damage... I need to calm this chaos energy down too...
She settled into her stance, letting her body completely relax. Her chaos energy synchronized, slowly coating one side of her molten sword in light, and the other in darkness.
The sword shed its usual orange hue, shifting into a dual-colored blade that hissed with pure steam. All her overwhelming berserker energy compressed entirely into the weapon.
Sitting in the back, all the battered students watched this insane fight between three monsters, their eyes turned wide with disbelief...
"Look at them..." one muttered, swallowing hard. "What kind of monsters are they?"
"Yeah, and here we were acting like fools, thinking we could team up and snatch that badge from him..."
Sera opened her eyes and shouted, "MOVE!"
Elira instantly backs off... Magnus, his chest heaving while just looking at Sera and grinned.
Pant pant
She swung her blade, sending that slash straight forward...
GO TO HELL.
A massive, crescent moon of chaos energy erupted from the sword, tearing through the ground. Instead of dodging, Magnus slammed his fists together, shaping his knuckles into a heavy shield to take it head-on.
"Fuck yeah, Now that’s what I’m talking about!"
