'Wait, I'm Supposed to Become a Goddess?! But I'm a Guy!'

Chapter 204: Angela.

Then, as her projection dimmed away from the scene.

At the top, in the deepest part of the tree, a pair of innocent eyes stared to where Mize had left just now, then turned it's gaze towards the tiny space crack that it was ordered to guard.

"For... Mother... " A childish girl voice came out, "I am... the guardian of this world."

Snap!

The scene changed.

Somewhere in the Giant Green City, inside a house in the outermost part of the city.

Sat a beautiful woman wearing a light night dress on the living room table.

Looking towards the window on the side in daze, her long hair danced in the cold wind of the night as the breeze came in through the windows, but somehow, her eyes seemed to be at a loss...

The distant noise from the city bustling center marketplace could be heard from here. The street lights outside layered the dark night in neon blue.

Aizen's invention after all.

Then, as sudden as it was.

A pair of hands came from the back, hugging her waist, and startling her.

Earning a tiny shriek, "Ah?"

Her voice escaped from her mouth, eyes darting to the side.

She turned her head, just to see a familiar smiling face resting his chin over her shoulder from the back, "Klein... "

"You didn't sleep, Angela?"

"I... " Angela reached for Klein's hand, and grasped it, "I don't feel sleepy yet... " She gave him a smile, "Having a little bit of rest here, right now... "

Her voice doesn't appear to be very convincing.

But somehow, Klein doesn't feel that she was being honest, "What's wrong?"

He straightened up, pulled out the chair from under the able on the side, and sat down, "Anything on your mind?"

"I... " Angela opened her mouth, but, the words could never really come out from her throat.

She turned her gaze away, and looked towards the scene outside of the window, "I don't know... "

"Is something wrong?" Klein became a little bit worried, "You are acting strange today... Even back at the dungeon, you missed your timing while casting your spell, as if you are thinking of something throughout the day"

"You noticed?" Angela gave a wry smile back, fingers flinching over her thighs as she dragged her gaze down, "I thought you wouldn't"

"I noticed, so tell me... " Klein leaned slightly towards her, placed his palms over her fidgeting fingers, and clasped them, "I am worried about you, are you hiding something from me?"

"I-its fine... " Angela forced out another smile, this one more genuine than the one before, but Klein didn't buy it, not even the slightest, "Tell me... Or else, I won't bring you out tomorrow"

"A-ah... " Angela panicked, nibbling on her lower lips, and instead of directly telling him the truth, she navigated the situation with questions instead, "W-what if you were tasked with a goal, but you deliberately tore through the script just because of personal interest"

"That's oddly detailed... " Klein gave her a strange look, and answered, "Personal interest as in what? Love?"

"Y-yes... Love" Angela hurriedly nodded, "I-is it selfish?"

"How is It selfish?" Klein flicked her forehead and brought her closer to hug her tightly in his arms, "A person has the right to choose what he or she wishes to do in their life"

"If I... Was tasked with the burden of a thousand lives or you, then I will always choose you"

"I see... " Angela smiled, a genuine smile, a heartache smile, and tilted her head, grabbing Klein's palm to her cheeks, "Then, I suppose I choose you too"

Then, as if she wanted to ask more, Angela tilted her head, her eyes gleaming under the soft ceiling lamp of the room, "And I... What if I committed a sin before... A very hideous sin... Would you still love me?"

"That's an absurd question" Klein gave her a strange look, though he regarded her eyes seriously, "Then I will choose you."

"Even if it's a sin that involves the Divine?"

"Then I will kill the divine... "

"T-that... " Angela panicked. Klein had muttered something totally taboo. But really, she was the one who brought up this topic.

"You are being weird, hahaha" Klein laughed it away, and brought her up in his arms, bringing her to their bedroom.

As for their relationship as of now? Married.

Angela's design was not for this. She betrayed her fate, and stole Lyshell's fate.

Mize had designed her to be Klein's pain and suffering, but she decided for her own self in the absence of the true body.

Stole Lyshell's target, and married the man she loved.

Is It wrong to go against your creator for the love of your life?

Then, if so... Why was she given the luxury of self?

That night, Mize returned to her room, and went into her bed comfortably.

Despite being a goddess, she felt sleeping was still necessary.

The higher she climbed the steps of this path, the scarier it became as she realized, she was slowly losing grip over everything.

To stay human, is to be human.

She believed it to be so.

And she woke up in the next morning within the soft embrace of Liam's arm.

A soft snuggle between the two, as Liam exited the room for the task at hand for the territory.

Mize yawned, stretching her body as she got out of the bed slowly.

Cutely even, like a panda that had just learned the walk overnight.

The matter at hand that she wished to handle.

1. The dungeon situation.

2. Preparation for the next event that is still unknown.

3. And to handle the public reaction alongside those unlocked features after they completed the final wave from the prior event.

Sigh...

She dangled her legs over the edge of the bed, and pulled up the lord panel for her to see...

Once the panel lifted up into her view, a brand new display emerged.

With several new columns, Mize excitedly discerned the brand new panel with interest.

The information was as she anticipated, especially the population.

But wow...

"Liam had been quite busy outside huh... So many mines in the territory right now"

But one thing surprised her, the way how the lumber mills and the farm fields weren't included.

It wasn't that the warp system doesn't bother to include them, but it was meaningless to do so according to the system's explanation.

"The longer I lived in the warp, the more it felt like a game developer was just trying to figure things out in his own game" Mize mused, scrolling through the lord panel with interest and finally landed her gaze on the lower end of the whole blue screen.

The rest was as obvious as they were before.

Though, she was still curious about their current ranking in this world, compared to the other lords, just how powerful are they compared to the other lords?

Surely, the number should be outrageous right?

The first event caused her to be extremely creative at that time.

She created so many... So many! That she doubted their current power was still the same as before.

The ten broken blades. All tier 7.

The broken blade legion, half a million might, with the weakest being tier 3 and the strongest at tier 6.

The three true kings, overlord level presence.

"50 million now? If it is, I can brag about it in the global chat the whole day."

Tapping on it, the rankings refreshed into her view.

[Global Power Rankings]

1st – Lord Liam | Power: 101,423,000

2nd – Lord Azrael | Power: 18,870,000

3rd – Lord Vortan | Power: 17,940,000

4th – Lord Xaiya | Power: 16,505,000

5th – Lord Kaelthor | Power: 15,202,000

6th – Lord Dren Vos | Power: 9,664,000

7th – Lord Nyros Vale | Power: 8,820,000

8th – Lord T’shann | Power: 7,719,000

9th – Lord Revik Dar | Power: 6,144,000

10th – Lord Morien Syth | Power: 5,037,000

What in the hell?

Mize almost lost her grip, her gaze drifting over the panel with utter disbelief, and the number that stood next to Liam's name, it was simply unbelievable.

Especially the gap between him and the rest, like an impossible chasm, forever out of reach like a star in the sky.

100 million, what a magnitude of power, but in a way after thinking about it, she understood why it was this way.

Still, she required a more in depth explanation from the system.

[It was natural, host. Coupled with the host's creations that showed up during the events, the warp included them alongside the villain's total strength for the power ranking]

[The number over the screen was totally logical especially due to the presence of so many true lords in the territory, and over 7 true kings]

[The host is now qualified to face against those who walked against the infinity]

[The host is now considered as a True Goddess]

[The Goddess of light, beauty, depravity, lust, and also joy]
