Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife
Chapter 477 - 476: Are They Already Together?
The taxi stopped at the hospital entrance, and Bella Acker paid the fare and got out.
The hospital where Damian Sinclair was staying was a high-end private hospital, and even at night, its luxurious decor was evident.
Bella Acker looked up at the hospital’s main entrance and clutched the flowers in her hands before stepping inside.
She first went to the inquiry desk on duty, "Excuse me, how do I get to the inpatient department?"
"Go through the door on the left, walk straight down the corridor, and you’ll see it," the on-duty staff courteously directed her.
"Thank you," Bella Acker thanked them and followed the path pointed out to the inpatient department.
The inpatient department was very quiet, and the nurses on duty moved with quiet steps, barely making any sound.
Bella Acker also softened her steps as she approached the nurse’s desk, asking softly, "Could you tell me which room Damian Sinclair is in?"
"And you are?" the nurse asked with some doubt.
"I’m Damian’s... Damian’s friend. I heard he was hospitalized for a stomach bleed, so I came to visit," Bella Acker explained. "But his phone seemed to be off, and I forgot to ask which room he’s in."
Seeing she knew the reason for Damian Sinclair’s hospitalization and seemed sincere, the nurse didn’t press further, checking the inpatient records and replied, "Mr. Sinclair is in room VIP006 on the sixth floor."
"Thank you," Bella Acker thanked her and took the elevator to the sixth floor, quickly finding VIP006.
She stood at the door, taking a couple of deep breaths, just about to knock when she heard voices from inside the room.
Bella Acker jumped, reflexively moving to the corner out of view.
The door to the room opened, with Mrs. Sinclair exiting first, followed closely by another person.
"Auntie, don’t worry. I’ll take good care of Damian," Cecilia Lynch said softly, linking her arm with Mrs. Sinclair’s.
"Cecilia, I’ll leave Damian to you then. I’ll come back tomorrow morning," Mrs. Sinclair patted Cecilia Lynch’s hand gently. "This whole situation is really thanks to you. If you hadn’t been by Damian’s side at that time, who knows what would have happened."
"Auntie, it’s what I should do. Please don’t be so formal with me," Cecilia Lynch replied quietly.
"Alright, alright, we are all family, no need for all this formality," Mrs. Sinclair nodded. "I’ll head out first. If you get too sleepy staying up late, just lean back and rest on Damian’s bed for a while. If he dares to bully you, just tell me, and I’ll deal with him."
Cecilia Lynch blushed slightly, "Auntie, how could Damian bully me when he’s ill? It was just an accident before."
"If Damian weren’t sick, I’d be hoping he would bully you a bit more so I could have a grandchild sooner," Mrs. Sinclair sighed. "Cecilia, I’m sorry for the trouble."
"As long as I can be with Damian, nothing you ask of me is too much," Cecilia Lynch shook her head.
Listening to their conversation from the side, Bella Acker’s eyes widened suddenly. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Damian and Cecilia are already together? And they’ve already slept together?
Is the reason Damian hasn’t contacted her because he’s fallen in love with Cecilia?
They grew up together, truly childhood sweethearts, and their family backgrounds were quite similar...
No! She can’t think about these things! Unless Damian says it himself, she won’t overthink. She needs to trust Damian!
Bella Acker shook her head, trying to dismiss the thoughts popping into her mind, but her fingers unconsciously tightened around the flowers, a sense of flustered stinging pain still in her heart.
