Obviously after seeing the demon that had attacked us sneaking around in the city, I had to follow behind him to see what he was up to.

I still don’t know if he belonged to one of the groups of demons that I had just taken over and if so, I should probably let him know about the change in management.

But just in case, I followed behind him while keeping myself hidden because he might also belong to the other group that were trying to summon the Demon Lord and were the suppliers of that pendant.

Seeing that he seemed to be sneaking off somewhere, he must have a destination in mind.

In fact... How the heck did he manage to get into this city to begin with?

Because if I remember correctly... The only demons who are allowed in this city are enslaved ones... And the enslaved ones would all have collars on their necks.

Seeing that this guy did not have one, it means he’s probably sneaking around and pretending he’s not a demon like what Lilith did.

That might not have been a cause for concern if it wasn’t for the fact that this guy actually attacked us.

I slipped through the streets while cloaking myself with darkness, making sure that I was out of that demon’s sight as I followed behind him.

He walked past a trio of female Infrids currently engaged in a threesome beside an alley and disappeared between the two buildings.

I quickly followed behind him, slipping towards the wall and peeking around the corner while ignoring the three Infrids moaning loudly beside it.

I frowned when I saw that the alley led to a dead end and there was no one inside.

As I was about to step inside to take a closer look, a hand suddenly grabbed my ankle and I looked down to see one of the Infrids licking my foot lewdly.

"Ahhhnnn~ So tasty~ Why don’t you join us, sexy?" She requested before going back to lick my foot.

I tried to pull away from her, only to frown when I realised that my foot felt a little numb.

Still, I managed to pull away and the Infrid let out a soft giggle before going back to start making out with one of her other lovers.

The numbness in my foot did not go away and it felt a little difficult to move it as compared to before almost like...

I quickly cast [Cleanse] on myself to rid myself of any low ranking status effects and the numbness went away.

I looked down at my hand where my [Minor Protection Ring] that defended against paralysis lay before looking back at the three Infrids.

No doubt, the licking from that Infrid was an attempt to paralyse me and I might have already fallen to the ground and been unable to move if it wasn’t for the fact that I had this protection ring, something that I have worn with me since I looted it off the corpses of those idiots that had been hired to kill me all those years ago.

I used [Screened] on those three Infrids, thinking they might have been demons in disguise but... They were all Infrids.

That’s odd... That girl definitely tried to paralyse me just now... Why did she do it then? Is she working for the demons? But she just ignored me after I pulled away and it doesn’t look like she’s surprised the paralysis didn’t work on me... This all doesn’t add up...

Wait...

I went over to the three of them, making sure to keep just out of reach so none of them could reach me.

"Hey?" I called out to them.

None of them reacted and just continued to eat each other out in a triangle.

"Hey?" I called out again, louder this time.

They continued to ignore me.

I took another step towards them and one of them immediately reacted and tried to grab my foot once more.

Since I was expecting that, I immediately snatched my foot back and got out of range.

The curious part was that the Infrid that tried to grab me looked confused like she didn’t know why she was trying to grab to begin with. In fact, even though she was looking in my direction, it doesn’t feel like she was seeing me at all.

I waved my hand at her and she didn’t even respond and she merely just shrugged and went back to eating out the other Infrid.

I looked around to check that there was no one else around before calling up Eins.

"Master," She greeted me with a bow. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

I didn’t need to give her any instructions since she already knew what I summoned her for as I went ahead to get within range of those Infrids again.

She’s just there to cast [Cleanse] on me and act as my backup in case I need it.

She immediately tried to grab me again but I was faster and grabbed her wrist to pull her towards me and out of the other two Infrids’ grasp.

The one that I pulled blinked and looked like she had just woken up as she looked around in confusion.

"E... Eh? What is... What was I doing?"

"Are you alright?" I asked.

She looked up at me before she suddenly spread her legs open while giving me a sultry look, "Ohhh~ You look hot. Wanna have a quick fuck? I’m already wet~"

I should have expected something like that to happen considering what kind of place this is...

I sighed, "Sorry but I’m busy... Please get home safe."

She pouted before raising her hand to give a jerking motion towards her mouth, "Awww~ Not even a quickie? I can give you a blow? You’re already hard anyway."

Unexpectedly, Eins appeared beside me holding the other two Infrids who looked just as confused to be there, "There is no need. I will take care of Master’s needs instead. Please take your friends and go home."

The Infrid looked surprised by her appearance before the two Infrids were dropped in front of her.

They were then shooed away and they didn’t even bother dressing themselves before they skulked off, looking quite dissatisfied that I was not joining them in a foursome.

They didn’t even stop to wonder what they were doing before this.

As I thought, those three were entranced to stay at the alleyway to act as some kind of trap or something.

I wonder how long have they been there?

Well, the mystery should lie in that same alleyway so I got Eins to sink back into my Shadow again before stepping towards it.

I slipped in between the buildings and pressed my palm against the wall, finding nothing but solid stone pushing back against me.

Hmm... I had thought for sure it might be an illusion or something but it seems like that wasn’t the case.

I’m definitely sure that the demon walked into this alley and since I didn’t sense any magic being cast, he most likely did not teleport away either.

So where the heck did he go?

Hmm... A secret door, maybe?

Is there a secret button that I can press to make this wall open up?

I started tapping along the walls to look for any hidden mechanism that I could activate that might reveal a hidden door but... With no idea of where to even look, I was just stuck with blindly patting all around me with no idea if I missed it or not.

Even after I searched around for a good while, I didn’t find anything that could point to a secret entrance.

Looking up, it was just walls all the way to the top as well with no ledges or other entrances either so I don’t think he went that way either.

Still... This was definitely an entrance of sorts since they bothered to entrance some girls outside to act as a security of sorts.

If I’m not wrong, they were placed there and even given the effect of having paralytic saliva which would render intruders unable to move which they would either dispose of later or just make them get dragged into the orgy with those three Infrids as well.

But that’s weird though... Because if there was an orgy there, people might be attracted to it and that might draw attention to this place which I can’t see could be anything but undesirable to them.

Unless... Those three just so happen to fall into a trap and were affected by it and wasn’t placed there?

Hmm... It still doesn’t change the fact that I still don’t know where that demon went though.

Wait... If it’s not forward, up or left or even right... Maybe... That guy went down instead?

I looked down at the ground and by focusing a little, I saw what could be grooves on the ground that indicated a trap door.

I followed the grooves until I found a small indent that was probably a hidden handle and I touched it to find a small metal piece popping out which I could pull to lift up the ground, revealing a ladder leading to the floor below.

Why do they always put their hideouts underground?

Oh well... Here goes...
