While Others Stream Dungeons, I Became The Final Boss
Chapter 17: Multiversal Streaming Network
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
[Would you like to create your own channel?]
[Yes] [No]

Abel’s pupils narrowed as the interface glowed in his sapphire eyes. For a moment, all else vanished -the researchers and the enormous white sphere. He’d heard rumours about the Multiversal Streaming Network. Yet, seeing it for himself was breathtaking.
"Withdraw your hand," one of the researchers said.
Abel did as he was told. He didn’t select the option to create his own channel yet.
The researcher, holding a tablet, handed him a piece of paper.
"It contains your status sheet and the recommended classification for you. This way, you may be able to grow your stats properly to achieve your full potential."
Abel looked at the contents of the paper.
On it he saw...
[Status sheet]
—
[Evaluation]
[Mana Purity [Unknown]]
[Innate Potential [Unknown]]
[Most recommended classification: Archer.]
[Secondary classification compatibility: Warrior.]
[Least recommended: Healer. Tank. Mage.]
Because he hadn’t shown any of his skills, his Hunter’s classification was limited to only two classes.
Abel was glad they hadn’t asked if he had awakened any skills. It appeared the Hunter Association truly respected Hunters’ privacy. Still, he couldn’t help but wonder what the enormous, glowing white sphere was.
He hadn’t heard about it before. The sphere was clearly extraordinary, since it forcefully activated his status sheet and connected him to the Multiversal Streaming Network.
"We’ve never seen mana this pure before. It’s comparable to the highest-grade mana stone. Naturally, a mana purity like this is meant to be evaluated at S-rank. And the potential evaluation is meant to be at the A or S-rank. But we’re unable to figure out why it came out the way it did," the researcher said, studying Abel with an inquisitive gaze as though he wanted to tear him open and examine what was inside him.
"We don’t know how to explain this. However, we can arrange several more trials to help you figure this out."
"Thank you. But I’ll have to refuse. I have other things that I need to attend to, so I won’t have the time," Abel shook his head.
The researcher sighed in disappointment, understanding that Abel was tactically rejecting his offer.
The other researchers understood this too and felt the same way.
"The Hunter registration is completed. You can follow him to the next phase," the researcher said.
Abel saw that another researcher dressed in a white lab coat had already arrived. He gestured for Abel to follow.
"Follow me."
The moment Abel walked out of the hall, the researchers immediately huddled together.
"What was that mana purity? It’s the purest mana I’ve ever seen!"
"I was barely trying to keep myself from bursting out in amazement!!"
It was like a visitor entering an antique museum and the tour guide discovering that he had a 5,000-year-old, one-of-a-kind antique in his possession, which they could neither identify as real nor fake.
So the machine ultimately ranked his potential as unknown. It was absolutely absurd! 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
"Quickly notify the Director!"
"I’m already on it. I’ve sent him the full video and script of everything!"
"Have you figured out why his mana purity is so high?"
"Who knows? It might have been a unique talent or skill that improves his mana purity to such a perfect intensity. However, we can’t question him about his abilities due to the law protecting Hunters’ identities and their skillsets and neither does he seem to be surprised about the revelation of his mana purity, which means that he had already tested it before coming here."
"Yes. The only thing we can do is follow his livestream and hope we can discover something. Or hope the Director pushes him to run some tests with us."
"I’ll also send a message to the Director to inform him of the situation."
"I’ll do so as well."
After discussing with one another, the researchers finally decided.
Unbeknownst to Abel, he had already become the centre of attention.
---
Twenty minutes later,
Abel walked out of a changing room in a fresh outfit. He was now dressed in a green, orange-striped, skin-tight bodysuit with metallic armour pads on his torso, legs, and shoulders. His hair was tied under a green scarf with a helmet resembling a full dome covering the top and sides of his head.
He felt uncomfortable, resembling the wedging, tight superhero suits he usually made fun of in his former life. But he could do nothing about it, remembering the dresser’s words about the suit’s special properties. It could provide protection against certain environmental hazards and attacks, providing comfort, protection and flexibility that ordinary clothes couldn’t provide during battle.
However, Abel, who had already fought several Hunters, knew that it was useless against a powerful dungeon boss. So he could, at most, sell it and make a fortune off it.
He had been given a wide range of weaponry to select from as well. As for what he chose.
Abel grazed the shield wrapped in chains strapped to his back. Hanging at the side of his waist was a double-bladed war axe with a ring at the edge of the handle.
He remembered a certain madman in his former world with two jagged blades known as the Blades of Chaos, and had wanted to bring them to reality. But he hadn’t found anything that met his demands. Only a curved scimitar sword had come close, but then the blade was too smooth with no jagged areas that would enhance the use of his skill.
Perhaps because he had copied this skill from the Warden of Blacklung Burial Mine, whose choice of weapon was an axe, the skill had a very high compatibility with axe-related weapons despite its vast versatility.
Abel realised that he would need to find a blacksmith to create his own weapon; however, considering he didn’t have any funds to invest into such an endeavour now, he put the matter at the back of his mind.
He walked out of the changing room.
Abel saw the dresser patiently waiting outside the door.
The woman glanced at the axe and the shield in surprise.
