Chapter 1018: Free Stay in the Presidential Suite
Matthew Saxon was taking her to watch a movie at the cinema his family owned, and Scarlett Yates suddenly found it a bit interesting.
Half-jokingly, half-seriously, she said, "Matthew, do you have to pay when you watch a movie at your own cinema?"
Matthew thought for a moment and smiled, "I do."
Scarlett teased him, "How come you’re doing so poorly that you have to pay at your own cinema? I thought we could watch a free movie this afternoon."
"Don’t you have some sort of lifetime free membership card?"
"Nope."
He glanced at her, his eyes full of amusement, "If you want, I can get you one."
Scarlett sighed again, "Then what privileges do you, as the president of Seymour Group, actually have?"
Matthew’s eyes twinkled mischievously, and he laughed, "There’s no free movie card, but there are plenty of free hotel room cards. Want to experience that privilege now?"
Scarlett deeply understood what it meant to shoot oneself in the foot.
Matthew winked at her and added suggestively, "You can stay in the presidential suite for free, as long as you like. Tempted?"
"..."
"Scarlett, the bed is large and soft, very comfortable to sleep in. Don’t you want to try it?"
"..."
"Matthew Saxon..."
"Hmm?"
"Walk faster. We still need to line up to buy tickets; don’t miss the time."
"Alright, we’ll watch the movie first and then get a room for a nap afterwards."

At Oceanic Plaza, as the ultimate boss, Matthew Saxon caused quite a stir.
The manager of the mall, upon learning the news, came running, slightly out of breath, with a nervous expression, thinking that the big boss was making a surprise inspection.
"President, this quarter’s sales figures are still being finalized. In another week, they’ll be sent to headquarters. If you want to see them now, I can immediately..." The manager rushed, afraid of delaying and offending the bigshot, so from the moment he got the news, he mustered all his strength and dashed over.
He hadn’t even caught his breath before being interrupted by Matthew’s gesture to pause.
Matthew clearly wasn’t interested in what he was reporting about the quarterly sales figures and cut him off directly, "Someone else will review the work. You don’t need to report to me."
"Then, President, you are..."
The manager, flustered when he heard Matthew was here, hadn’t paid attention to details.
Now, hearing it was not for business, he noticed a woman standing next to Matthew.
Upon closer inspection, she seemed familiar.
Thinking back, he suddenly realized.
He thought the woman looked familiar because wasn’t she the future president’s wife the rumors had been buzzing about?
Turns out, the president was merely bringing his fiancée for some leisure, and he had frightened himself unnecessarily. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
But even if the president was just hanging out, he still had to treat it seriously, right?
"Which floor is the cinema on?" Matthew checked the time; they still had fifty minutes—plenty of time.
The manager was stunned for a few seconds before responding, "Sixth floor. Is the president planning to watch a movie with Miss Yates? I’ll notify the movie department to prepare the tickets immediately and thoroughly clean the VIP screening room."
