Witch Hunter: Lord of Lust and Sin
Chapter 64: Wild Hunt [Part 9]
On the edge of a cliff face, a woman sat watching the calm english channel, a rare occurrence especially since it’s been calm for quite some time now.
She was looking over at the calm water with a look of deep melancholy when a man emerged from the shadows of the brush behind her.
"My Lady... I don’t know what drives you to take such actions but... the seer had already said that Merlin is gone-"
He spoke with great worry and he bore the expression of a loyal vassal. Yet his words were cut short as the woman answered him with a sarcastic tone.
"Obviously"
The man was perplexed, if she had known already then why?
The confusion left the man stunned as he let out a surprised voice that did not match his calm image-
"Eh?"
The woman turned around, a beautiful blonde woman wearing a raven black dress. She had a tattered spear on her hands as her face looked as if it was seriously contemplating hundreds of things at once.
"Just now, Merlin finally vanished"
"Finally?"
"Did you think I was chasing after Merlin? I would have locked him up in my room if that were the case"
Her words made the man freeze as he did not know how to respond to her words.
Seeing his reaction, the woman, Scathach, the same woman, who had stabbed Richard through the chest, smiled beautifully.
An enchanting expression that would have burned nations to the ground.
She looked over the man, her eyes filled with laughter as she continued her words.
"I never liked Merlin as he was, I wanted to make him in my image, not only to have him loyal only to me but to make the perfect version of him..."
A look of deep regret flashed in her eyes but only for a moment as joy surged once more.
"Now though... The canvas is here... free from the dirt that covered it for centuries- that beautiful pure white is now ripe for taking! To paint it my own colors... oh how I longed for this moment!"
Her eyes glowed with a light of madness, her face twisted, it was an expression that could not be seen nor made normally. But Scathach did so, a face of utter insanity, flushed with desire and anticipation, all it lacked were for her pupils to take on heart shapes.
"Mer... no, Richard... yes... my dear Richard... my poor Richard... now that you’ve gotten rid of the damned sage- it will begin... chaos-"
As if mirroring her words, the waves of the English channel that had been calmed shifted.
Turbulent currents rolled as the water threatened to drown any unfortunate soul that entered it.
Yet, as quickly as it started- it vanished.
Seeing this, the madness that was growing within Scathach abated, she let out a sigh of disappointed as she spoke.
"It seems he still left one final seal, a stopgap? Until my little Richard grows... so it seems my role has come"
Despite her expression returning to a calm and mature look, the madness within her had yet to fully settle.
The man who was her servant spoke up-
"My Lady-"
"Silence!"
But was quickly made to quiet down as Scathach raised the spear, she took on a throwing stance and aimed at the sky.
"Let this signal the start of the hunt-"
Scathach declared before throwing the spear towards the sky.
As the spear left her hands, instead of flying in a parabola, it vanished.
Whether it flew too fast for the eye to see or was teleported somewhere, the man servant did not know.
What he did know was that the world of mystics and non-mystics was going to enter a tumultuous period from now on-
’All because of that damned Merlin...’
He cursed, that was all he could do. Even though he was a mystic, even in a world where curses take actual effect-
The man knew... his curse would only meet empty air as it would do little to even scratch at the defenses of Merlin’s reincarnation.
A man who could take the full force of Scathach’s attack and survive.
If Richard could dispel the curse of the lady known as "The Shadow", then his own curse would be nothing more than a joke to the man.
The manservant could only lament his own weakness and inability to act or do anything.
Scathach knew of her servants’ thoughts, it was obvious to her who had lived for millenia.
Yet she didn’t mind nor bother with them for he could do nothing to act upon his own impulsive thoughts.
Looking at the man before her, Scathach could only scoff.
"You can’t even reach his feet and he has yet to truly practice. Dreams could come true but yours are far, far out of your league."
She mocked the man before vanishing back into the shadows.
All the man could do was clench his fist and accept the words of his Mistress.
Yet- he still bore that hatred, the hatred towards the bastard who took away the attention that should have been rightfully his.

In the English countryside, a quiet tomb known to nobody stood silently within a dark forest.
The stone was covered in weeds and plantlife yet as if rejecting the resisting the takeover of nature.
Just like every other day, the cold tomb remained silent, unmoving and unaffected by anything until-
*BOOM*
The loud crack of thunder roared as a spear fell from the sky shattering the tomb into a million pieces.
The loud explosion echoed throughout the dark forest but not a single soul gave any care for what had just occurred.
Amidst, the broken stems, leaves and stones, the spear stabbed into the darkened earth and-
*rumble*
The soil began to shake, it was not an earthquake but instead the soil from which the tomb once stood tall.
With the stone gone, the ground hidden beneath it was laid bare, revealed to the world.
Black soil that shone like obsidian, it cracked and looked like a piece of glass refusing to break as spider web like cracks covered the dark surface- 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
*CRUNCH*
But the ground did not hold on for long as a weird sound echoed throughout the dark forest as a single hand burst forth from the darkened soil.
Then another, and another... quickly, hands erupted from the darkened soil, reaching out towards the cold and gloomy sky.
Within the unknown and forgotten forest deep within the British Isles a horrific event had started yet like the falling of a tree within a forest where no one could see or hear it.
Just like that tree, the madness that is now starting to awaken and it continues to evade perception, to evade reality- at least... for now.

A great number of things started to move, quietly and known only by a few.
The world still retains its calm, people still go about their daily lives.
Yet the moment it all breaks, cracks already show themselves.
A young man, drunk out of his mind, sat quietly outside his home.
He had taken out a chair and now watched the darkness as if it was the most amazing thing in the world but-
*CRASH*
Before him, an existence that could only be described as a "monster" fell.
It glared at him but the drunk idiot only took out his phone and started to stream.
He wasn’t a big streamer, he only streamed because he lost his buddies in a motorcycle accident. Now he was left gaming alone and streaming, no matter how small their numbers were even just 10 viewers were enough to turn his boring game time to a fun interactive experience.
Now, while dead drunk, he opened up his stream and started to show off the monster before him.
"BROTHERS! AN ALIIEN! A MONSTER! I was just sitting outside enjoying the night when it crashed in front of me! Like- what the actual..."
The man froze, he stared up as he realized that a shadow had enveloped him. The only source of light was the moon and so his instincts directed his vision to the sky.
He still held his phone and it followed his gaze and what appeared before him and the less than one hundred viewers of his stream was-
"Fuck! That’s hot..."
The drunk man said as he got an upskirt video of the woman who was wearing a rather short dress.
He didn’t care about the madness of the situation, the man who was drunk to high heavens only cared for a clearer picture of the hidden treasures underneath that skirt!
[Skeptoclap423: BROTHER RUN! THAT’S A WITCH! Also take a pic for future reference]
[JonasJonesJaredJiff: Who’s the cosplayer? - Asking for a friend]
[SeriouslySaneSandy: LOL, nice effects, you get a sub for that- also, please zoom in, it would give a more "realistic vibe]
[HowardBBlues777: Is it just me or does that thing look like a wendigo? Brother, you’re an hour away from Edmonton, you really think an American Urban Legend would be running wild in the UK?]
[JonasJonesJaredJiff: I don’t care about facts, WHO IS THE BADDIE!]
[SeriouslySaneSandy: @Howard, how about talking about the asian witch?]
[Skeptoclap423: @Sandy, really? Being racist right now? Our brother’s about to get clapped!]
[JonasJonesJaredJiff: I wouldn’t mind getting clapped by those hands or pegged by that Asian-Goth-Baddie]
[NewCoommer69: I was scrolling through the horror section and found this, the wendigo’s cool but I like the zoom in on that witch. THICK THIGHS SAVE LIVES!]
[HowardBBlues777: @NewCoommer69 - great, another one]
The comments were pouring in and the viewer count was shooting through the roof.
The man’s viewers were largely from the same region as him and even international viewers were largely from Europe.
Because of that, most of the viewers were also watching in the middle of the night and the nightmare fuel wendigo monster immediately got them posting and sharing.
More people who were looking for spooks tuned in but the focus of the camera was already on the woman in the sky.
Moreover, due to his drunken state, the man was unable to see clearly from a distance which made him resort to using his camera to zoom in on the upskirt shot.
[NightWatcher747: MODS! This is illegal! BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN]
Now, people were starting to report him and spam his chat because of his actions but the man didn’t care.
He wanted to see more of that forbidden zone.
While all that was happening below her, Cindy felt a headache coming in.
She chased after her pet after some Arthuretta took a chance at supporting her companions and threw her "deer" to God knows where.
The situation immediately became dangerous as her pet was blown quite far.
Everyone froze and without anyone saying a thing, all of the witches started to chase after the pet that was blown away.
After all, even when the mansion was quite isolated, the trajectory which Arthuretta threw "deer" made it fly for maybe a few couple of miles.
In that range, the damage sustained by her pet would be severe enough to incapacitate it for quite some time.
But that was not the problem.
The problem was that within the trajectory of the throw... a couple houses existed.
Cindy quickly caught up to her pet but she froze as her pet was already being shown on video and she had already been captured by the lens as well.
Moreover, she could tell from the words of the man that he was not "taking a video" but streaming one-
"This is gonna be annoying"
