Within My Sect, All Realms Unite - Chapter 79: Sword Awakening

Chapter 79: Sword Awakening

As Tian Jian Zun looked at the three swords, his mouth opened slightly without him realizing it, his gaze locked completely onto them as if he could not pull himself away. The two swords resting at his waist began to tremble faintly, and then slowly lowered, bowing in submission as their presence dimmed before the three blades.

Seeing this, Lin Xiaotian’s lips curved into a faint smirk, his eyes carrying a trace of satisfaction as he observed the reaction. Seeing this, Lin Xiaotian smirked faintly, his gaze steady as he watched the reaction unfold before him. Now you see... this is what true greatness looks like. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Just then, the sword mark on Tian Jian Zun’s forehead began to vibrate slightly, as if resonating with the presence of the blades before him. The man’s expression tightened for a brief moment as he took a deep breath, forcefully suppressing the reaction before it could show further.

He straightened slightly and turned his gaze toward Lin Xiaotian, his tone returning to calm, though the tension had not fully disappeared. "Is this not too much, Sect Master, for someone who has just joined the sect?" he asked slowly, his eyes still carrying a trace of caution.

"And how are you so certain that I will not run away or betray you after taking such weapons?" he continued, his gaze sharpening slightly as he spoke.

Lin Xiaotian did not hesitate even for a moment, his smirk deepening just slightly as he met Tian Jian Zun’s eyes directly. "Because you can’t," he said simply, his tone calm yet carrying a quiet weight that pressed into the space between them.

Tian Jian Zun looked at him for another moment, as if trying to understand something deeper within those words, before suddenly bursting into a wide grin. The hesitation vanished completely, replaced by a sharp excitement that was no longer hidden.

"Thank you, Sect Master," he said with clear enthusiasm, his tone no longer restrained. "I will show my loyalty through my actions."

As he spoke, he stepped forward without holding back, moving directly toward the three swords with a focused gaze. His attention returned fully to the blades, his excitement barely contained as he examined them closely.

Seeing this, Lin Xiaotian remained where he was, his expression calm as he began to speak, his tone steady as he introduced them one by one.

The first sword stood still without any movement, its blade dark and heavy as if it carried an unseen weight pressing down on everything around it. Its edge did not shine, yet the space near it felt suppressed, as if anything drawn before it would be forced down without resistance.

"This is Taiyue Jian," Lin Xiaotian said calmly, his tone steady. "The Great Mountain Sword, it does not chase or strike wildly, it simply stands and everything before it is crushed under its weight."

The second sword gave off no visible aura at first glance, its blade thin and clean, yet the space near its edge showed faint distortions as if something invisible had already been cut apart. Even without movement, it carried a sharpness that felt absolute, as if nothing could withstand it.

"This is Jue Kong Jian," Lin Xiaotian continued, his gaze calm. "The Void Severing Sword, it cuts without warning, and once it moves, there is nothing left to block it, not even space itself."

The third sword remained completely still, its surface plain and silent, yet the area around it felt strangely empty, as if something had been erased just by its presence. There was no pressure, no sharpness, yet standing near it gave a feeling that something would simply vanish.

"This is Mo Jian," Lin Xiaotian said, his tone slightly deeper. "The Silent Ending Sword, it does not rely on force or edge, and when it acts, things do not break... they simply disappear."

The three swords floated there quietly, yet their presence alone made the space feel heavy, as if even the surroundings were struggling to remain stable under them.

Seeing this, Tian Jian Zun slowly stepped forward, his gaze fixed completely on Mo Jian, as if something about it was pulling him in without allowing him to look away. His movements were steady yet unconsciously drawn, as he raised his hand and reached toward the blade.

Just as his fingers were about to make contact, his hand vanished without any sound or resistance, disappearing from existence as if it had never been there at all. There was no blood, no tearing, only empty space where his hand had been a moment ago.

Yet instead of fear, the madness in his eyes deepened, his breathing turning heavier as a strange excitement rose within him. His missing hand began to regenerate rapidly, flesh forming again as he stared at the sword with even greater intensity.

He raised his regenerated hand again, but this time his movements slowed as his aura began to settle instead of erupting wildly without control. A thin layer of sword intent spread from his body and gathered around his arm, condensing tighter and sharper as if it was being refined with every passing moment.

The moment his fingers touched the blade again, his hand began to fade just like before, disappearing piece by piece as if it was being erased from existence itself. Yet this time, he did not pull back, and instead pushed his intent forward steadily, forcing it to remain intact against that erasure.

Mo Jian responded.

The sword trembled faintly, not rejecting him outright but releasing a deeper pressure that no longer stayed on the surface. It pressed directly into his will, cold and absolute, as if testing whether his existence itself was worthy of remaining.

Tian Jian Zun’s aura surged in response, but it did not explode outward and instead collapsed inward sharply, becoming denser and more focused than before. His sword intent shifted its nature, no longer trying to cut or overpower, but beginning to mirror that same silent and absolute presence.

His arm continued fading upward, reaching toward his shoulder as the pressure increased, yet his expression only grew more intense as if he had found something he had been seeking all along. The madness in his eyes deepened, but beneath it, something far more controlled began to form.

At the same time, Lin Xiaotian’s expression turned slightly serious as he extended his control across the entire space without making any visible movement. Layers of suppression formed silently, sealing the room completely as the surrounding qi stilled and even the slightest fluctuation was locked in place.

High above, faint disturbances began to gather, subtle yet carrying a dangerous weight, as if something had noticed what was happening below. Lin Xiaotian’s gaze sharpened slightly as his will rose upward, pressing against that presence and blocking it completely from observing further.

The space trembled faintly for a brief moment before calming again, as if whatever had tried to look down had been forced away without even understanding what it had sensed. Inside, the pressure returned fully, growing heavier as the clash reached another level.

Tian Jian Zun took a deep breath, his entire aura compressing inward as his sword intent sharpened to its absolute limit. The fading of his arm slowed slightly, then began to stabilize, as if his intent had finally reached a point where it could resist that erasure directly.

His body trembled under the strain, but he did not retreat even a single step, his eyes fixed completely on the blade as his intent pushed forward without hesitation. The space around his arm distorted slightly, as if two forces were colliding at a level beyond what could be seen.
