This greenhouse, in Isaac’s current view, was an absolute mess!

From both an aesthetic and a scientific perspective, it was incredibly shoddy!

Especially the latter!

The former was excusable. While it lacked any real design, Magic Flowers were beautiful in their own right. Even just haphazardly clumped together, they were still pretty to look at, if not particularly useful.

But from a scientific perspective...

It was rather mediocre. Magic Flower Vines were Extraordinary Plants, but their adaptability was actually quite low. Many were the byproducts of magical experiments, created for their looks and nothing more.

Therefore, transplanting and cultivating them required considerable skill. Isaac’s method of just lumping them together should have killed them. At first, it was his father, Gaia, who kept funneling money into the greenhouse to keep it afloat. Later, his eldest sister found a specialized Arcanist who managed to make it truly viable.

Even though he now saw the greenhouse as a complete mess, Isaac still sat there for the entire afternoon.

As dusk fell, golden sunlight filtered through the Magic Flower Vines and fell upon Isaac’s face. He looked up, facing the sunset, and watched the vibrant flowers bathed in its light. A slow smile spread across his lips.

’Heh... How stupid... to hesitate for so long.’ Isaac stood, brushed off his pants, and turned to leave.

He had made his choice. The Dragon Witch was powerful, to be sure, but that didn’t mean he, Isaac, was weak. To waver over something so trivial was ridiculous!

Even if body modification granted him no Authority, would he really be any weaker?

It wasn’t as if he’d had to study to obtain his Flesh Dimension.

He’d finally made it to such a fantastical world. Wouldn’t it be a total waste not to live as he pleased?

...

An hour later, Isaac was in his Study, having finished dinner. He sat there, lost in thought. Though he had just made a momentous decision, he was now facing a new one...

And it was, once again, about body modification...

According to his original plan, the first body part Isaac intended to modify was his eyes. He was planning on getting himself a Demon Eye to play with.

A Demon Eye is an eye imbued with a Magic Ability. Unlike conventional Magic, Demon Eyes—whether on humans or Demons—possess immense growth potential and allow for exceptionally flexible Casting.

Thus, they are a primary choice for many Legendary Mages of the Mystical System when it comes to body modification.

As a transmigrator influenced by the anime of his past life, Isaac had zero resistance to the allure of Demon Eyes. From the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception to powerful red eyes, they were all cool as hell!

And they were fucking strong! Completely overpowered!

The Demon Eyes of this world also happened to be incredibly powerful, so there was no reason for Isaac not to get a pair for himself. He had even specifically tailored his three rituals during the Official Wizard stage to enhance his Mysterious Attribute, just to meet the most basic requirements for the modification.

The point Isaac was now struggling with was whether to modify his original eyes or install a new one somewhere else on his body.

A vertical eye in the center of his forehead, for example, would be incredibly cool!

Both options had their pros and cons. Modifying his original eyes would be less difficult, and there were many existing procedures to reference. After all, Demon Eye modification surgery was originally called Demon Eye transplantation—the damn things were literally torn from the bodies of Witches!

Adding a new eye, on the other hand, was not only much more difficult, but in the lore of mysticism, an eye growing on another part of the body was a Concept that aligned closely with the imagery of many Evil Gods. The risk of aberrant mutation was extremely high!

Of course, mutation wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. If it could be properly controlled and guided, one could obtain immense power from it. You’d just end up looking a bit uglier.

Furthermore, adding extra eyes allowed for more abilities. You would gain one ability for each new Demon Eye, and the entire set would still count as a single body modification.

Compared to modifying one’s existing eyes, this method yielded far more abilities and was, consequently, much more powerful.

Of course, the aesthetic would also be far more... bizarre.

Isaac wasn’t like Guo Ying; he had no interest in such peculiar hobbies. He wasn’t about to cover his arm in eyeballs. He just wanted a single vertical eye in the center of his forehead.

However...

This was the crux of his dilemma. The plan to add eyes was powerful, but the price of that power was a lack of control!

It might start with just one eye, but over time, the Mysterious Attribute of an Evil God would erode the Wizard through the Concept of *Extra Eyes*, causing many more to sprout all over their body!

At that point, how many Demon Eyes you ended up with would no longer be up to you...

Therefore, if he chose this modification, he would need to set up several layers of protection to avoid being consumed by the Erosion of Evil God Power.

After some deliberation, Isaac chose the latter option. After all, a Demon Eye was already cool, but having three eyes was even cooler!

Besides, attracting Evil God Power... that might not necessarily be a bad thing for him!

Of course, he could also choose to do both—modify his own eyes *and* add an extra one. It was technically possible, but not exactly ideal.

Unlike simply adding eyes, this would count as two separate body modifications. A Grand Wizard only gets nine body modifications in total, and each one—the body part and its corresponding ability—had to be chosen with extreme care. Therefore, in terms of efficiency, it was best to choose only one of the two options.

Having made his choice, Isaac’s next tasks were to find a desirable Demon Eye ability, then go Hunting for or create the Demon Eye, and finally, transplant it onto himself.
