Before I realized it, morning had already passed and noon was slowly arriving. After telling Viora about the sun, there wasn’t really much for me to do anymore.

Unlike last night, I didn’t need to help her eat or drink this time. The nurse had brought her food separately and was surprisingly feeding her properly.

I don’t know if it was the hospital routine or there was some other reason behind it, but whatever it was, she should have just fed her yesterday too.

Why did she let Viora starve first and feed her today? It doesn’t make any sense. It feels like she was taking revenge on her for the glass Viora broke.

Or maybe I am just overthinking. But for now, that was the only believable reason. If not, then she shouldn’t have fed her.

’The nurse is really evil.’

Unbeknownst to me, a frown appeared on my face and I gritted my teeth. She didn’t need to go this far. She had pushed Viora and had talked bad about her, so that should have been enough.

I don’t know why, but I felt angry at her behavior. The more pieces I placed together, the more rage built inside me, to the point that I just wanted to find her and slap the consciousness out of her.

But just a glance at Viora’s smile was enough for me to forget all the rage that was built up inside me. After I had told her how the sun looked, she had gone quiet.

’A few hours have passed and she still hasn’t made any kind of sound.’

She was just smiling at whatever she was thinking about. I didn’t see it fade even for a moment. The thought that was making her smile without break must be beautiful.

’I hope I could also know what she was thinking about.’

I could just call her and ask what she was thinking or why she was smiling so much. But then I thought that if I said something, then the smile which looked so beautiful and soothing for no reason would fade away.

And I didn’t want that to happen. Therefore, I just kept my mouth shut and watched her being all happy and delighted.

’I shouldn’t stare for too long.’

I moved my gaze away from her, and everything that had happened to me in the last two days began to replay itself in my mind.

The transmigration. The S-Class Healer Elena, Viora, and more importantly, the system.

I knew that it was a modern world where Mutation Gates, or in simpler terms, dungeons had appeared. It was the same typical story of monsters pouring out of them and humans gaining superpowers.

There were Hunters from D-Rank to S-Class. Only ’S’ was a class, and everything beneath it was considered a ’Rank’ for a reason that was never explained. The dungeon power system was also like that. It went from D, C, B, A, to S.

But all of those were trivial things.

The only thing that mattered was the unique and interesting powers of the MC and his way of dealing with insane situations. Other than that, there wasn’t anything worth reading for.

Besides Elena, he alone was carrying the story hard. And I can relate to that since he also was a normal person who transmigrated into this novel just like me.

Since I know whose body he woke up in inside the novel, I know that I am not the MC. That much was certain. The only thing that was messing with my brain right now was the system.

’Why did it come to me when I wasn’t the MC?’

Systems didn’t even exist in the original, so its appearance is kind of throwing me off. What is even more insane was its condition to only be used on a disabled woman.

Not that I mind it. It’s just that I am a little confused now that I have begun thinking about all this stuff with a clear mind.

I need some answers. About me, about the system, and about Viora too.

"System," I whispered, and a screen appeared in front of my eyes.
