Chapter 644: Chapter 644: Five Years Later

After five years.

On the street in London, at a bus station, a boy was waiting for a bus with a loaded pack on his back. It seemed he wanted to go back home from school.

In front of him was a black Rolls-Royce waiting for the red light on the road.

Stuart closed the file and pinched the skin between his eyebrows. Suddenly, he saw the boy standing at the bus station.

Stuart was shocked.

That boy, standing among the crowd, with a big black umbrella and large blue bag, looked so clean. He wore a white shirt and black shorts.

His eyes were so pure, fixing on the road in front of him, waiting for the bus in silence.

As Stuart stared at that boy, the green light turned on. When Ivan was about to start the engine, Stuart stopped him.

"Stop."

"Sir..." Ivan was confused. They need to go back to the company as soon as possible to sign a contract. They might be too late.

"Pull over to the cub," Stuart said.

Though Ivan was still so confused, he didn’t ask more questions. He parked immediately.

Stuart got out of the car and walked towards the bus station. Ivan looked towards the direction. When he saw the boy, his eyes were widened.

That boy was so pretty. His face looked so small. He looked exactly like Stuart. But the boy looked softer and gentler.

Why did this boy assemble Mr. CEO so much?

Holy crap. Did Stuart have an affair with some girl?

At the same time, Stuart already arrived at the bus station. The bus arrived. The boy got on the bus. Stuart followed him behind.

After getting on the bus, the boy sat on the last seat, near to the window. He looked out of the window.

His eyes were cold and determined, like a beast, watching everything around him. He looked so alerted, protecting himself from everyone around him. He held the umbrella tightly in hands and sat on the seat in silence.

Stuart wanted to approach him. Because he felt this boy looked so familiar.

"What is your name?" Stuart asked him.

Hearing Stuart’s voice, the boy turned towards Stuart. He looked a little surprised. Because he also found they looked like Stuart.

But he calmed himself down in minutes. No one else could do that as quickly as him.

He threw an eye on Stuart and then looked away. His eyes looked so indifferent.

From his eyes, Stuart could interpret his meaning.

Who the hell are you? Why should I tell you my name? Get the fuck away from me.

So indifferent. So proud.

However, his attitude didn’t irritate Stuart. On the contrary, Stuart raised the corner of his mouth.

He smiled. Even Stuart himself was shocked while he realized he was smiling.

It has been such a long time since he smiled last time. He never smiled since Edie passed away. He led a boring life like an alive corpse. He didn’t even know how he lived these years.

He never expected that he was still able to smile.

He got more curious about this boy. Why did he assemble him so much?

Except for Edie, he had never slept with any women else. This was not his son. Was he Aaron’s?

He also looked like Aaron. Indeed, this boy looked so pretty and gentle.

It was possible. Stuart thought.

When Edie passed away, Aaron left. He finally managed to get rid of his family. He didn’t want to be the second son of the Yates. He finally could appear in front of the public as a man, instead of the second son of the Yates.

"What’s your father’s name?" he asked.

The boy didn’t even throw an eye on him. He still looked so indifferent.

Such a cold boy. Did Aaron teach him to act like this?

Stuart doubted it.

He didn’t know why he became so curious about this boy.

If his daughter was still alive, she might be as old as this boy.

She might have long hair. She might have a pink pack on her back. Stuart would hold her hands to cross the road and pick her up at school every day after school.

He dreamed of Edie and their baby every night.

He dreamed a lot these years. In his dreams, Edie was still alive. She would play with their kid in the living room, while Stuart was cooking in the kitchen and smiling at them. He was preparing dinner for the whole family. When the dinner was ready, Stuart walked out of the kitchen. The living room became empty. He didn’t see anyone there.

Then, Stuart woke up.

Therefore, when Stuart saw this boy’s cold and clear eyes, he couldn’t help himself starting missing his wife. Her eyes looked like this boy’s eyes.

So he stopped and tried to strike a conversation with this boy. But this boy didn’t even throw an eye on him.

The bus stopped. The little boy stood up and got off the bus. Stuart followed him.

He saw the boy running to a residential district. A woman was pushing the baby stroller. The boy ran towards her and held the woman’s hand and said in French, "Mommy."

Stuart stopped immediately.

This boy could not speak English. No wonder he didn’t answer his question.

Apparently, he was not Aaron’s kid. It was nothing more than a coincidence.

He might miss Edie so much that he thought everyone looked like her.

He turned around, looking at the road behind. He smiled bitterly.

He didn’t expect he had to walk for such a long distance to wake up and see the reality.

He threw an eye on the boy and then turned around and left.

At the same time, the woman being called was shocked. She immediately said to the little boy, "You might mistake me. I am not your mommy, baby. Have you lost your way?"

"Sorry. I’ve mistaken you. Sorry. Goodbye," he said politely.

Then she turned around, seeing Stuart’s back. She didn’t know why that man looked so sad. Suddenly, the boy felt a little sad for that man.

He suddenly wanted to walk to him to say something to comfort him.

At this moment, the phone in his pocket rang. He took the phone out immediately.

"Mommy," he said in English.

"Laty, where have you gone? I couldn’t see you at the bus station. Have you gotten off?" Edie got wordy on the other side.

"I will be there in ten minutes."

It was still one step away from his destination. He ran so quickly and told something interesting to Edie on the phone. His eyes were shining with joyful light.

Edie also walked towards him. When seeing her baby girl, she frowned, "where’s your princess dress? Why do you wear this again?"

The boy was actually a girl. But she always wore like a boy.

She hung up the phone and took her daughter’s pack, "You dare to go to the photographic exhibition alone. I am so worried about you. What if you are lost?"

When Edie got up this morning, Laty was already gone. She left a note to Edie, telling her she’s gone to the photographic exhibition. Edie was so worried about her. So she got up and rushed to the exhibition immediately.
