Chapter 1753: Chapter 1750: Which Mr. Ou?

"Qu Yingyou? This guy didn’t make it before. Putting his song up will invite gossip." Liu Xiong glanced at Lin Tian and the others, chuckling.

Qu Yingyou’s face changed drastically. Last time, Liu Xiong caused him to leave the company and almost leave the music industry. He didn’t care about leaving the company, but he cared about music, which was integrated into his life.

Lin Tian remained calm, just looking at Liu Xiong, while Liu Xiong watched Lin Tian mockingly.

"It’s a shame we’re missing a program tonight. This is just the beginning. The company that dares to shelter Qu Yingyou, I’ll make it disappear from Huaxia within a week," Liu Xiong said with a slight smile, but his eyes were full of malice.

"You..." Mr. Qi was furious. What kind of person is this, constantly seeking revenge?

Lin Tian gestured for him to calm down. Liu Xiong waited for quite a while, seeing no response from the other side of the phone, frowned and said, "Mr. Guo, what’s going on? Didn’t you hear me say Qu Yingyou is no good?"

"This... Brother Liu, I can’t comment on whether Qu Yingyou is good or not, because I’ve never met him." The person on the other end pretended to be clueless, feigning ignorance of Liu Xiong’s intent.

Liu Xiong frowned deeper, making his words clearer: "Take him out, don’t let him affect the quality of the whole show."

Tianfeng Entertainment’s people looked at each other, after working so hard, can it really be canceled so casually? It’s too disrespectful.

Just as they were feeling very angry, Mr. Guo suddenly chuckled, "Haha, Brother Liu, I’m afraid I can’t help you."

"What do you mean you can’t help? I know your skills, it’s just canceling one program. If worse comes to worst, let other stars sing an extra song, the time will be made up." Liu Xiong said indifferently.

"Brother Liu, to be honest, this program was designated by Mr. Ou. I don’t dare to cancel a program specified by Mr. Ou arbitrarily. If you know Mr. Ou, you can ask him, maybe he can help you." President Guo confessed.

After several refusals, Liu Xiong ran out of patience: "Which Mr. Ou? I know five or six of them!"

"Miss Ou Qinglan." Mr. Guo said very respectfully.

"Ou..." Liu Xiong was about to say what does Ou Qinglan count for, but stopped himself in time. He wiped his forehead, realizing it was covered in cold sweat, thinking it was fortunate he hadn’t said it.

When Liu Xiong looked up, he found Lin Tian and the others across from him all looking at him, filled with smiles and schadenfreude.

"You guys are ruthless!" Liu Xiong put away his phone and turned to leave.

Lin Tian smiled cheerfully, "Brother Liu, not canceling our program? Then we’d better get ready for the performance."

"Hmph!" Liu Xiong waved his hand and walked away without looking back. Bitong glanced at Lin Tian and the others, feeling very unwilling, but there was nothing she could do, since even her big boss couldn’t manage, she definitely couldn’t.

"Sigh..." Mr. Qi let out a breath, saying, "This Liu Xiong, is notorious in the entertainment industry for being vindictive, most people he retaliated against didn’t have good endings. Back then, a popular female star in another company caught his eye, but the female star wasn’t willing. Liu Xiong retaliated by fabricating all kinds of scandals, causing the star to eventually retire and leave the entertainment circle."

"Though forbidden, the wind doesn’t stop. In this big dye vat of the entertainment industry, it’s really hard to keep oneself clean. Whether voluntarily or forced, there are just too many unspoken rules; a female star can only maintain her innocence if she meets a true mentor, or if the power behind her is so strong that no one dares provoke."

Lin Tian said calmly, this is a materialistic society, and the entertainment industry magnifies this materialism countless times.

With no one obstructing them, Lin Tian and the others smoothly arrived backstage at the auditorium, and after meeting with the person in charge, Tian Xiaotian followed the person in charge. Before leaving, the little girl was a bit timid, but everyone gave her encouraging looks.

"Where are we going?" Mr. Qi asked.

"Of course to the front desk to watch the show. Tonight is star-studded, not to be missed," Lin Tian replied with a smile.

Leaving the few key members of the company to handle things backstage, Lin Tian, Xiao Manxuan, and Mr. Qi moved to the front of the auditorium. The villa’s auditorium was a bit smaller than the school’s. Its capacity was about a thousand people, while the school’s large auditorium could hold several thousand.

Naturally, the Coastal Villa didn’t need to invite so many people. Lin Tian stood on the second-floor corridor and glanced over, seeing the auditorium was not full of people, and the atmosphere was not as lively as other evenings, because it lacked the fans’ cheers.

"Lin Tian, my sister is looking for me." Xiao Manxuan took out her phone for a look, then raised her head, saying, "Do you want to come with me?"

Lin Tian felt a stir. He hadn’t seen the Miss for a while and did miss her a bit, but he still shook his head: "You go first, after Xiao Tian finishes performing, I’ll join you."

"Alright then, don’t let anyone bully Xiao Tian." Xiao Manxuan reminded before leaving, adding at the end, "Especially you."

Watching the little girl’s cheerful departing figure, Lin Tian could only shake his head helplessly, wondering when he had bullied that little girl, not even having held her hand.

Mr. Qi beside him tried hard to suppress his laughter. He was struggling, as it was his first time seeing the invincibly domineering Lin Tian unable to deal with a little girl.

Lin Tian glanced at him sideways, ready to "teach" him a lesson, but as he turned his head, out of the corner of his eye he caught sight of a familiar figure, which quickly turned at the hallway and disappeared.

"Mr. Qi, watch it here. If anything happens with Xiao Tian, notify me immediately." Lin Tian instructed, then turned to leave, leaving Mr. Qi puzzled by the abrupt shift.

Lin Tian didn’t care what he thought, quickly walked to the hallway and continued upstairs along the stairs, arriving at the third floor.

The auditorium had seating only on the first and second floors, the third floor being just a circular hallway. Standing on the edge of the corridor allowed a view of the entire venue, though it was too far from the stage to watch comfortably.

There weren’t many people in the hallway, just two or three on the phone or smoking. Lin Tian immediately saw that familiar figure. As he looked over, the person suddenly turned around, smiling at Lin Tian, evidently aware of Lin Tian following him.

Tall and straight figure, classical temperament, and handsome appearance—it was Xu Feibai, the one Lin Tian least expected to see. Among all the acquaintances, anyone could show up at the Coastal Villa, but Lin Tian never expected Xu Feibai.

This zombie, not only back in Huaxia, but also swaggering around, isn’t he being too bold?

"You look nice in a suit, no wonder that little girl has a crush on you," Xu Feibai said with a faint smile.

"You don’t look good in a suit at all, you’re better suited in traditional clothes. But you sure know a lot." Lin Tian walked to Xu Feibai’s side, chatting like old friends, though who could have thought, whenever they met before, it almost always came to blows.
