10,000x Reward Multiplier: Hell-level Kingdom Building - Chapter 46: [0] From Cooked To Overcooked
The entire scenery of the serpent queen chasing Floki was something straight out of a nightmare.
The massive creature crawled angrily through the forest, felling smaller trees that stood in her way as she chased ferociously after Floki without slowing down.
Despite her huge body structure that stretched over dozens of feet in length, she could still move extremely fast.
Floki already had a strong hatred, or rather fear, for snakes, which had started back in his previous world.
Thus, being chased by a gigantic one like this felt like psychological torture in every sense.
He did not bother to look back.
Floki did not even try to act like a courageous and smart protagonist who would challenge a beast despite clearly knowing how much he lacked in terms of strength when compared to such a creature.
Yet while fleeing, he could also tell that running alone was not going to save him at all.
If his stamina did not give out and he somehow managed to exit the forest and run toward his village, the serpent queen would continue chasing after him and would eventually arrive there. The aftermath was not something he even wanted to imagine at this point.
His current situation was either:
Play the selfless hero and be eaten alone by the serpent queen, or act like any other human would, lead it to his village, and have it devour his people.
Neither option was good.
"Damnit!"
"Damnit!"
He cursed repeatedly as he ran. He tripped on some entangled creeper grass but quickly got back on his feet without wasting a second.
The serpent queen was closing in on him despite his running pace.
HISS!
He heard the pressurized hiss of the snake as it drew nearer, sharp and suffocating.
He also heard a loud swooshing sound as the massive creature lunged its head at him from behind, attempting to devour him whole in a single motion.
Feeling the danger instantly, Floki used all the strength and agility at his disposal to throw his body in another direction. He rolled on the ground, his body getting stung by thorns and ants at the spot he had landed.
BOOM!
The sound of the serpent queenโs head crashing into the ground at his previous position rang out, making the surrounding area tremble slightly.
Floki, not even bothering to look behind him, got back on his feet and dashed in a new direction, his heartbeat racing wildly as he gasped for air while running.
He could hear the furious sound of the serpent queen after failing to devour him. He could also hear the sound of small trees behind him falling one after another as the snake continued its relentless chase.
Floki, realizing that his current pace could not be maintained much longer, immediately ordered the system to pour his entire reserve of experience points into himself.

The sudden surge of strength, agility, and stamina propelled him forward, creating a much more sustainable gap between him and the serpent queen.
Nonetheless, unknown to Floki, his sudden growth only increased the hunger the serpent queen had for him.
It was as though he had become a meal that had been re-prepared to taste even better.
Floki kept running. ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ธ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ต.๐ฌ๐ค๐ข
Even with his new strength, he knew that fighting the snake was completely impossible.
Floki could be considered a low-stage silver-ranked fighter. In comparison, the serpent queen was high-stage silver rank or possibly even peak-stage, if such a level truly existed.
Who knows? With its overwhelming size, strength, and speed, it could even be a Gold-rank monster.
"O-open attribute!"
He commanded while fleeing, keeping his eyes fixed on the path ahead.
[ATTRIBUTES]

He stole a quick glance at his stats and, without a single moment of hesitation,
he poured all the points into agility.

The instant boost granted him so much speed that his body almost failed to keep up with itself.
His legs moved faster than ever, kicking off the ground with explosive force as the surrounding scenery blurred past his eyes. Trees became streaks, bushes turned into shadows, and the wind pressed hard against his face like a solid wall.
For a brief moment, Floki felt as though he had escaped from the clutches of the serpent queen.
When he looked behind him, he saw the serpent queen in the distance. Its red eyes had begun to glow intensely with anger and hunger as it tore through trees and crawled forward faster, as though it could increase its own speed even further.
Floki gulped nervously and continued fleeing without slowing down.
With the increase in his agility, the rate at which his stamina drained was greatly reduced.
The stamina mechanism was somewhat strange to understand, but at the same time, it was also quite simple.
If one had 100 strength points and began overexerting themselves to perform an action that required 120 strength points, stamina would drain much faster.
But if one performed lower effort tasks under 90 points, stamina would drain very slowly.
As a result, with his current amount of agility points, if he ran at the pace he had been running before the increase, his stamina drain rate would reduce significantly.
That was the reason he did not bother to invest all the points into stamina. After all, if he had invested all 90 points into stamina, it would only increase the maximum capacity. It wouldnโt recover the ones he had lost already.
Thus, by maintaining a steady but fast pace and conserving stamina, Floki was able to create a survivable gap between himself and the serpent queen for over half an hour.
Unfortunately, he was not someone with good luck.
As he sprinted forward, he took a quick glance behind him, and when he turned to look ahead once more, he froze slightly.
Right in front of him was a pack of gigantic wild boars.
The suddenness of their appearance made it seem as though they had materialized out of thin air.
Their aggressive snorting echoed loudly, sending a chilling shiver down his spine.
Who could have imagined that his situation would go from worse to hell in the span of a single moment?
