Chloe Grant smiled slightly. "Miss Shelby, rest assured. Since I was bold enough to tell you about this for you to use against Clara Grant, it goes without saying that I have sufficient evidence. I have both witnesses and physical proof all lined up. Just tell me when you need it, and I’ll bring everything to you."

"Is that so?" Hearing how confidently she spoke, Autumn Shelby felt relieved. "That’s good."

After a moment, she paused and added, "So, Miss Grant, what are your conditions? Let’s hear them."

Chloe Grant smiled. ’She had been waiting for her to ask that very question.’

"Miss Shelby, you’re not just beautiful, you’re also incredibly sharp. Since you’ve asked so directly, I won’t beat around the bush. To be honest, they aren’t really conditions, just two small favors I’d like to ask of you."

Autumn Shelby smiled as well, her expression unreadable. "Tell me, Miss Grant."

"A while ago, also because of Clara Grant, I made a few moves against her. Who would have thought she’d run crying to President Quinn to complain? He rashly believed her and actually announced that Aegis would blacklist me completely.
