By the time Seth Quinn finally settled down, three or four hours had passed. The action had also moved from the living room sofa to the bed in the upstairs bedroom.

Clara Grant lay sprawled on the bed, shaking her exhausted hands. She thought with a hint of complaint, ’Taking care of a man is exhausting. Taking care of a man who’s been abstinent for ages and is finally breaking his dry spell is even *more* exhausting!’

Since he couldn’t touch her in that one place, the man had just vigorously tormented every other part of her.

They had actually, truly done it once just two months ago, yet his vigor made it seem like he hadn’t touched a woman in decades.

She was dead tired, but Seth Quinn looked completely refreshed and full of energy.

Clara Grant watched him, feeling both frustrated and confused. ’Aren’t men supposed to look pale and listless after overindulging?’

’He’s been going at it for three or four hours straight this morning, so why doesn’t he look the least bit lethargic?’

Seth Quinn glanced at her plaintive expression, then leaned in and chuckled. "What’s wrong? Are you shocked by my stamina? Or are you upset because you took care of me, but didn’t get to finish yourself?"

Ever since their misunderstanding had been resolved and they had grown closer, his words had become increasingly explicit. Clara Grant fought back the shy urge to hide her face in the blankets. Blushing, she gave his head a light smack and glared at him irritably. "Seth Quinn, can’t you be serious for once?"

The slap looked like she’d put a lot of force into it, but it was actually soft and didn’t hurt him at all.

Seth Quinn caught her hand and began to gently massage it, continuing his roguish teasing. "We just finished doing something improper. There’s a thing called momentum, you know. How can I be expected to act proper right away? Look, even your hand can’t act proper anymore after what it’s been doing. Hitting me didn’t hurt at all."

Clara Grant: ...

She was speechless. She’d originally thought Seth Quinn was the cold and aloof type, but it turned out he was a complete rogue when he wanted to be!

Clara Grant decided she couldn’t talk to him anymore. If this continued, she’d want to find a hole to crawl into and hide.

But as she was ignoring him, Seth Quinn kept talking. "If you feel like you didn’t get enough today, then next time... next time, I’ll definitely take even better care of you. And if my stamina shocked you... well, all I can say is, you probably won’t be able to handle it when we do it for real."

"Shut up!" Clara Grant finally snapped, so flustered she was turning beet red. "Can you just stop talking!"

With that, she buried her face in the blankets and tried to pull her hand from his grasp, but Seth Quinn held it too tightly for her to wrench it free.

Finally, she just gave up. Let him massage it if he wanted to. After all, her hand was tired from taking care of him anyway!

Despite being told off, Seth Quinn just kept smiling as he massaged her hand. "Alright, alright. I’ll stop talking. I’ll stop talking."

She had only buried her face to hide her embarrassment and escape his mortifying words, but somewhere along the way, she’d actually fallen asleep.

When Seth Quinn heard the sound of even breathing coming from under the covers, he lifted the blanket and saw her peaceful, sleeping face.

He couldn’t help but chuckle. ’This woman... she fell asleep so fast.’

’He couldn’t tell if she was just that carefree, or if she was truly exhausted.’

Seth Quinn carefully lifted her and laid her down flat on the bed, making sure she could sleep more comfortably.

As he gazed at her sleeping face, a gentle smile unknowingly touched his eyes.

After a long while, he finally got up and went to the bathroom for a shower.

Even though they hadn’t gone all the way, he was still covered in sweat.
