Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion
Chapter 354 - 353: Twisted thoughts
In the vast expanse of existence…
A terrifying ruin floated in space.
It had a lot of holes and on a
closer look, it was a broken universe.
This was where the SEIDES were.
"Should we kill them? It has been years, yet he didn't appear, and the Rank 3 being didn't pursue our lord?" one member of the Seides race said as the others frowned in thought.
"Maybe. Well, let's do it anyway. I don't think that being was among them, or at least it isn't supporting their son," the other said.
"Well, enough talk. I have been waiting to eat her and that traitor," another said as he moved deeper.
In a few moments, he reached one of the "cores of their homes."
Without a second thought, he went in, and there they were.
Two beings that were just a line away from being called bones.
"Heheh… War God and War Goddess?" a white being asked as it crouched on its tiptoes.
His face was full of smiles, showing its fangs.
The Seides, about five meters tall, was imposing as it looked at the two humans chained up.
"What did you do to my son?" the War God asked, his eyes furious.
Hearing this, the Seides paused, then laughed.
"Would you be happy if I said he is alive?" the Seides said as the War God paused.
His wife finally looked up, her hollow eyes brightening.
"Is little Sword Demon okay?" she asked as tears seemed to fall.
Her heart was overwhelmed with guilt as she failed to save her child.
"He's dead."
Just then, those words came.
Click.
Her heart shattered like glass as her eyes fully lost their luster.
The War God's body trembled as his human form ripped away.
Crack.
Click.
Crack…
His height grew as he turned into a creature similar to the Seides. His body grew to five meters in height, and that familiar white body was seen.
"I will kill you!!!!" the War God shouted, his voice hoarse as he moved to kill the creature in front of him.
Seeing this, the Seides stood up.
"You deserve this and much more. How dare you betray your kind for what? A human? The known food of existence? How can you fall in love with a being whose race is considered food?" the Seides asked, his expression full of mockery as the War God gritted his teeth.
"How dare you? You can't even achieve a bit of what they did. Our race is capped and cannot surpass Rank 3. But they… they have the potential to surpass this," the War God argued, his eyes bloodshot.
"Oh, you seem to be blinded by love."
"Let me open your eyes. We are born as Rank 1 creatures and grow to Rank 3. That is constant. But these so-called humans ,
when born, they aren't even at Rank 0, but below. They are just food for stronger races. Even to get to Rank 1 will take their entire lifespan. As for their lifespan, when born they can only live up to 100 years. Hahaha! Even our newborns grow and live for thousands of years. Potential remains potential, and it is wasted on such a race. The claim that they are the darlings of heaven is false," the Seides said coldly, full of mockery as the War God trembled.
"You…"
"You are the one who is blind! In that 100 years, they can reach Rank 0, even Rank 1. What takes us a thousand years is done by them in that one hundred years. Don't you see?" the War God argued, his anger seething.
The Seides sneered, obviously tired of arguing with the War God.
"Food is food. Potential or not is meaningless," the Seides said.
Crack.
The chains broke as the War God charged at the Seides.
A terrifying aura close to Rank 2 was released as he appeared in front of the Seides.
Just when his hands were about to touch the Seides, his body froze.
"You have really let yourself go, even to the extent that you have forsaken your path to power to protect them. You are a disgrace," the Seides muttered as he squeezed the head he had grabbed.
Boom.
The War God's body fell to the ground as, in the hands of the Seides, his head exploded like a watermelon.
Brain matter and blood splattered on the ground.
"Ah, I won't waste this," the Seides said as it opened its mouth and sucked.
Its mouth was like a vacuum as the War God's body decomposed and was swallowed by him.
The Seides licked his lips and looked at the hollow-eyed human female.
She obediently kept her eyes low and on the ground.
"Don't worry. I don't torture. I will make it as painless as I can," the Seides said with a smile as he lifted her up.
Her face contorted in pain as she gasped.
A few moments later, the Seides left, licking his lips. It had been a while since they saw a universe to devour or a planet to feed on. They had almost gone hungry and needed to eat.
Although it took a long time ,
maybe too long that
they were all starving for food, but at least he got a little snack now.
---
Far away… at the Dreadborne multiverse…
"Hmm…" a groan escaped his mouth as a being
with sword-like eyebrows held his chest.
"Ohh, what's wrong?" a white-haired figure with black sunglasses asked from across him.
He sat on a couch as he sipped juice leisurely.
"I don't know… I just felt like I lost something important," Sword Demon sighed.
Hearing this, Nephem looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Tsk, that's what happens to virgin bachelors," Nephem shrugged.
Sword Demon rolled his eyes.
"I am not a virgin," Sword Demon said.
"Ehn, hard to believe. You run from girls, dude. If I didn't know you better, I might think… gasp… do you swing that way?" Nephem asked, stunned, as he quickly stood up and backed away from Sword Demon.
Seeing this, Sword Demon's face twitched a couple of times.
"Why is your thought process so weird?" Sword Demon asked through gritted teeth.
"Am I wrong?" Nephem thought as he placed his hand on his chin.
"Ahh, no wait… don't tell me you fell in love with one of the females among us. Is it Junia? Or Nix? Gasp… don't tell me it's Linkir?" Nephem gasped, his face full of shock.
"SHUT UP!!!!"
