Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion
Chapter 355 - 354: Mystery surrounding the fore fathers
Silence followed as Sword Demon's face twitched a couple of times.
Nephem was quiet, but his eyes held a clear "I caught you" look.
"Nephem, jokes aside. Nothing like that is happening, and I don't like Linkir or the other girls," Sword Demon said as Nephem nodded like a rabbit.
"Yes, I believe you," Nephem nodded, and Sword Demon relaxed.
"Good," Sword Demon muttered.
"No, no, you don't understand. You have no chance with them, so… well, I guess you realized it early," Nephem said, nodding as he held his chin, a small smile on his face.
"NEPHEM!!!"
A roar spread throughout the headquarters of the Dreadborne Organization, and immediately a terrifying aura followed.

"They are at it again," a feminine sigh was heard as Linkir sat with her legs resting on her desk.
Her hands rubbed her temples. Her casual cooperative clothes hugged her body, highlighting her curves.
Her face was pure beauty. No sign of makeup could be seen, yet her beauty was the epitome of everything considered attractive in the world.
She was simply that beautiful.
"Yeah, Nephem always pulls Sword Demon's leg," Junia smiled, her demon-like body proudly displayed. If Linkir was the epitome of beauty, then Junia was the epitome of seduction. She was a succubus; her aura, her entire being, was built to make others fall for her.
They kept loving her. They kept lusting over her.
"Sigh… it's been hundreds of years. It seems we really did build a multiversal federation," Junia added as Linkir smiled.
"Void will be happy about it," Linkir said, and Junia bowed slightly.
"Master surely will be. Do you happen to know when he is coming back?" Junia asked as she crossed her legs. Her wings rested softly against the chair, and a faint dark light hummed in the room as her six wings spread slightly.
"No, I don't. But that's one of the reasons we have to move faster. This multiverse should be conquered. I've been hearing rumors that the royal family has welcomed their original ancestor," Linkir muttered as she looked at the ceiling of her room.
Satireq.
A very rare and precious material made from the core of a universe. That was what her entire ceiling was made of.
It was beautiful, displaying multiple colors layered over each other.
"You don't mean… a forefather?" Junia asked.
"Yes. With the appearance of multiple coffins, the official rise of the forefathers has begun. This multiverse will be shaken. You should be able to feel it," Linkir said.
"Yes… there will be a lot of corpses, and blood will flow everywhere in this multiverse," Junia muttered as Linkir chuckled.
"It will be very interesting, especially with those Sons of Destiny and the Chosen Ones. I heard one was caught by Alayot some days ago," Linkir said, a smile plastered on her face.
Hearing this, Junia's face showed surprise.
"Really? Wow. Is he going to kill him?" Junia asked excitedly. After all, they were demons.
Linkir chuckled lightly, her fingers trailing across her soft lips.
"I doubt it. You know Alayot's goal. He seeks knowledge, and he grows by devouring it. Even I can only guess his true reason for pursuing this path, but it might be related to his race," Linkir said.
"Well, that will be fun. I actually have a daring thought… what if he is creating something? Maybe a world for mechanical creatures ,
a world that births only them and not biological beings?" Junia said, her breath rough from the excitement of the idea.
Hearing this, Linkir's sapphire eyes focused on Junia.
"Such a bold guess. But that's something I think Alayot can do. I'm actually looking forward to it. However, his realm is still not sufficient to create something like that ,
at least not if he wants to birth a race with unlimited potential," Linkir pondered.
"Yes… well, I will start preparing. These next few years will be quite interesting," Junia said as she stood up.
"I agree."
Hearing this, Junia bowed.
"I will take my leave now, Commander," Junia said as Linkir nodded.
"Quite interesting…" Linkir muttered just as Junia disappeared.
"Sigh… come out," Linkir suddenly said, her brows furrowing lightly.
Space distorted, and a familiar female figure appeared.
"Leader," Nix bowed.
"Have a seat. What brought you here?" Linkir asked.
"What you told me to investigate has yielded some clues. The coffin contains a large amount of life energy, and there is no race, equipment, or material that matches it. I'm afraid it is from the Origin Era of this multiverse," Nix reported as Linkir sat up straight.
This was just as she expected.
It was far more serious than she thought.
First, the forefathers were definitely not just Rank 3 beings, but quasi Rank 4 beings. Then suddenly, the history books claimed they fell asleep to avoid the multiverse cleansing them
but that was the issue.
A multiverse does not perform a cleansing. And even if it did…
A Mythological Era — 1,000,000,000,000 Universal Eras.
Quasi Rank 4 beings are immortal. Even Rank 3 beings are.
So where did this false story of them escaping a cleansing come from?
Worse still, it seemed this multiverse was somehow broken.
The forefathers falling asleep hid more secrets than what was known on the surface.
Although when the forefathers awaken, they will initially be at Rank 3 strength, it is only a matter of time before they recover their quasi Rank 4 power.
But the Dreadborne Organization is lacking in strength. Apart from her, the remaining slaves of Void are still at Rank 3.
"Nix, you might need to go back to the Abyss. Create a portal here connected to where Void's army resides," Linkir instructed.
"Yes, Commander," Nix replied before disappearing.
Linkir stood up.
Her body leaned against her desk as she looked outside the window.
The planet was in view. Beasts flew through the skies, and terrifying auras clashed in battle.
She sighed.
Her fingers rested on her chest as she felt her powerful heart pounding.
"I have to upgrade the whole Dreadborne… but how?" Linkir muttered, her gaze turning cold.
After a moment of silence, a grin formed on her face.
"I think it's time for war, then. Nix, I await your success," Linkir laughed as she stretched her back.
"I do wonder what Alayot is doing with that kid…" Linkir muttered.
