Hours passed as the sun slowly set, casting an orange hue into the house.

Inside, Calus lay on the ground, his back hunched as he carefully held something in his arms.

Both Mabi's and Eva's heads were clutched tightly against his chest as he cried within the pool of blood until the sun finally disappeared and darkness took over.

The night passed quickly.

Calus stood up.

Slowly, he picked up their heads.

He walked upstairs to his room and brought out a rope made from a strange material.

Then, quietly… he began his work.

Piercing.

Fastening.

Click…

The door closed.

Moments later, Calus appeared outside.

His entire body was drenched in blood from head to toe, dried and dark but he paid it no mind.

Behind him…

Two heads were tightly bound to his shoulders.

Then—

He disappeared.

Boom!

This time, he didn't use his spaceship.

With only his physical body, he instantly broke the sound barrier.

The clouds split apart as he surged forward, his King aura flashing violently.

Beasts, birds, anything that crossed his path in the sky were instantly disintegrated as he shot toward the palace.

---

"W-wait… the king is—!"

A guard tried to stop him.

But one look

Just one

And the guard trembled, falling silent.

Bam!

The throne room doors were flung open as Calus stepped in, blood trailing beneath his feet.

Inside, the ministers speaking with the king froze in shock.

Who would dare barge in like this? Disrespect the king's guards?

But all their anger vanished the moment they saw him.

A man drenched in blood…

With two barely recognizable human heads frozen in horror mounted on his shoulders.

The sight was too grotesque. Too overwhelming.

Some ministers nearly vomited as their stomachs churned violently.

But the worst part…

Was his eyes.

Lifeless.

Like a devouring black hole that swallowed everything.

"Calus…"

The king called out in shock. Even he was shaken.

What happened? Why was Calus like this?

"Where is their hideout?"

A deep, hoarse voice echoed through the room.

Everyone froze.

Their…?

Hideout…?

It didn't take a genius to piece it together.

The secret organization.

The very one they had been discussing.

Today's meeting had even been about preparing a counterattack against them.

So why now?

"Calus… what happened?" the king asked carefully.

He could already guess.

The organization had made their move.

And they had made a terrible mistake.

"Their location."

"Where are they?"

Calus repeated, his voice cold.

The king's eyes lingered on the two heads attached to Calus's shoulders.

It made everything worse.

They weren't just mounted

They were sewn into his flesh.

The king swallowed.

"This is the latest map from the intelligence division," he said, pulling out a marked sheet. "These are their locations."

Calus walked toward him.

Everyone instinctively backed away.

The aura around him made their skin crawl. Their breathing turned uneven.

The king handed over the map but held it for a moment longer.

"I know what they've done is unforgivable… but please....spare the innocent. Spare those who were controlled."

Calus took the map.

"They became part of them the moment they joined."

His voice was absolute.

The room erupted.

"That's impossible!"

"How can you say that?!"

"Their wills were weak. That is why they were controlled," Calus said coldly.

"No mercy for killers—innocent or not. Their hands are stained with blood."

He turned and walked away.

The ministers panicked.

"Stop him, Your Majesty! Send the army!"

"Yes! This will cause chaos among the people!"

"They'll call us tyrants!"

The king frowned.

"I know… but have you seen him?"

Silence fell.

"Do you think I can stop him?"

"And the army?" he continued. "Do you think they can stop a King Realm expert?"

The ministers froze.

This was no ordinary man.

"Then send our King Realm experts!" one of them insisted.

The king shook his head.

"Who can stop him?"

"He was already untouchable at mid King Realm…"

"Now that he has reached the peak… tell me, who can stop him?"

Silence answered him.

---

After leaving the palace, Calus stopped beside a stream.

He crouched down and opened the map.

After a moment…

He chose his first target.

And moved.

"Arghhh! Thou shall die for the holy—!"

"Demon! Stay away!"

"Help me!"

Screams echoed through the sky.

An old man stirred awake, groggy.

He wore advanced cult robes, his crest glowing with a golden luster.

He rose from his massive bed, surrounded by jewels and intricate decorations.

This was one of the organization's headquarters.

And he was the half-step God Realm expert in charge of this region.

His expression darkened.

He had warned his subordinates not to disturb his rest.

Yet they dared?

It seemed he had been too lenient.

It was time to remind them 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

His words were not suggestions.

They were law.

BAM!

His door burst open.

"How dare you—?!"

His voice thundered as his aura exploded outward.

"Blargghk—!"

The man felt a terrifying force clamp around his neck. His vision blurred as a choking sound escaped his throat.

All he saw was an outstretched hand belonging to a man with dark, hollow pupils.

In the next instant, the surroundings changed.

They were in the sky.

Rage surged through him.

His aura exploded outward, blasting Calus away.

Calus was sent flying back as the old man clutched his throat, fury twisting his expression.

"Such insolence…!"

The old man trembled with anger. He was a half-step God Realm expert, respected wherever he went. Yet someone had dared to break into his abode… and grab him by the neck.

His teeth clenched as Calus reappeared a few meters away.

"You… how dare you?! You dare attack us, attack me? Has the kingdom grown this bold? I will make an example of you—"

His voice stopped abruptly.

His eyes widened.

Blood spilled from his lips as he choked on a thick, metallic taste.

"Grrk—!"

He coughed violently, struggling to breathe.

At some point, Calus had already appeared in front of him.

A hand had pierced straight through his stomach.

Gripping his spine, Calus ripped it out.

The man's head tilted toward the sky, his eyes dimming as terror consumed him.

His life force rapidly drained away.

Holding the spine in his left hand, Calus grabbed the man's head.

Then with his right hand he seized the front of the man's skull…

…and tore it off.

The face peeled away.

The lifeless body dropped from the sky.

By now, Calus was drenched in blood.

Slowly, he raised the horror-filled face in his hand and stared at it.

Without hesitation, he placed it over his own.

Then, glancing at the spine in his other hand, he snapped off several sharp bone fragments.

And began.

He pierced through flesh..., his face and the torn skin sewing the mask onto himself.

When he finished…

A grotesque, terror-stricken face now covered his own.

Then—

He vanished.

What remained…

…was a trail of blood and destruction stretching across the region for thousands of miles.

Calus hadn't just destroyed one headquarters.

He annihilated every hideout connected to it.

And with them

Everyone.

Whether willing…

or not.
