After my divorce, I started to have good luck
Chapter 1298 - 676: Buying a House Like Buying Groceries (Part 2)
Chen Feng nodded, "Yes, it’s my first time here."
"Welcome to both of you. I’m Consultant Zhang xx in real estate. May I have your surnames?"
"My surname is Chen, and her surname is Tian."
"Okay, Mr. Chen, Miss Tian, since it’s your first visit, let me introduce you to the project zoning map first. Please follow me."
"Okay, let’s go inside and have a look. If it’s suitable, we’ll buy it."
Another taller woman immediately chimed in, "Sure, sir, we can explain everything in detail for you."
Both women had seemingly natural friendly smiles on their faces, leading Chen Feng and his companion into the sales center, one on each side.
Inside, they immediately saw the giant community model, allowing visitors to get an intuitive understanding of the area.
Additionally, there was a large regional zoning map.
"Huafu Jin Garden is located on Feidong Avenue, opposite Citizen Park, with access to Ring City Highway in the east, the high-speed train station entrance in the west, and to Hundred Square in the south, all within 500 meters. It is the core intersection of the administrative and commercial center.
With the eastward relocation of the government administrative departments, courts, prosecutors, police stations, fire stations, and other departments have successively gathered here. It’s clear that this area has become the government office district. We all know where the government is, that’s where the core is..."
Consultant Zhang gave a comprehensive introduction to Chen Feng and his companion.
Tian Xiaoman was listening attentively, while Chen Feng was somewhat distracted, first looking at the zoning map, then at the model.
After Consultant Zhang had spoken for about ten minutes, he interrupted her, pointing to the villa area on the model, "Are these villas still for sale?"
Consultant Zhang paused for a moment, then smiled and nodded, "Yes, Mr. Chen, are you particularly interested in the villas?"
Chen Feng nodded, "It’s fine if there are, take us to have a look."
Consultant Zhang quickly agreed, "Okay, I’ll take you to see them right away. Please wait, I’ll go get the keys."
Consultant Zhang quickly walked off with the click-clack of high heels to get the keys, while another woman, who seemed like an assistant, still smiled and stayed with Chen Feng and company.
Tian Xiaoman leaned closer to Chen Feng and asked softly, "Are you planning to buy a villa? The villas here aren’t cheap; each costs at least three or four million."
Chen Feng smiled and said, "Do you think I can’t afford it?"
Tian Xiaoman shook her head immediately, "No, I’m just feeling a bit awkward. You spend so much to buy the villa, and it would take quite a bit to decorate it too. My rental income is really not enough."
Chen Feng laughed, "As long as you know. Just consider it as you owing me a favor. But, I have to tell you in advance, this house can’t be rented to you forever. At most, after two years, my little niece will come to the county for elementary school, my brother’s family, and my parents will all move to the city. This house will be for my parents to live in then."
Tian Xiaoman immediately stated, "Don’t worry, once your parents need to live here, I’ll definitely move out right away."
Chen Feng leaned closer and whispered in her ear, "If you go with me, I can consider letting you live in this house permanently."
Tian Xiaoman’s ears turned red instantly, she gave him a charmingly reproachful glance and said nothing.
Consultant Zhang soon returned with the keys and took them to view the house.
Entering the community, the entrance featured a round fountain with a well-crafted mermaid statue in the center, surrounded by plenty of green plants and flowers, giving it a high-end, stylish look.
Walking in, there were green plants on both sides of the road.
The community’s landscaping was indeed very well done, with enough distance between buildings, providing spacious public spaces and preventing any sense of oppression.
The community was relatively large, with eight high-rise buildings, 20 to 30 stories each, plus ten two-story duplex independent villas nearby.
Chen Feng wasn’t particularly interested in the high-rise buildings, preferring the comfort of villa living.
He believed his parents would feel the same, having been used to living in stand-alone houses in the countryside.
In fact, city villas are essentially stand-alone houses.
It took them about ten minutes to walk to the villa cluster inside the community, located in the westernmost, innermost part, next to a winding river, with at least 50 to 60 meters distance from the nearest high-rise building.
There’s also a small garden in the center of the villa cluster, with pavilions, water pavilions, small streams, artificial mountains, water features, and various plants and flowers.
Additionally, each villa comes with front and back yards, with the backyards having fences, and the front yards being spacious lawns, looking very comfortable.
Consultant Zhang took them to the first villa, closest to the central garden, which according to her was situated in the best area with great feng shui, thereby costing slightly more than the other nine villas.
While the other nine villas have a unit price of 12,800, this villa is priced at 15,000, with a total area of 238 square meters.
Chen Feng didn’t know much about feng shui but, after briefly checking its location—west by the river, east by the garden—it seemed pretty nice, unique.
The villa opposite across the garden was not by the river but adjacent to an internal road of the community, evidently inferior.
They went inside to check the villa, it had been simply renovated and painted, not completely unfinished.
Clearly, interiors like furniture and appliances were absent, leaving the place bare.
The first floor included a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and storage room, totaling 128 square meters.
The second floor featured three bedrooms, a bathroom, a balcony, and a rooftop garden.
Chen Feng immediately took a liking to the rooftop garden; it looked very comfortable.
So, he directly said to Consultant Zhang in the rooftop garden, "I can buy this house at the original price, but you must offer a complete decoration for free. I’ll have someone design and choose the materials, and you help me get a company to decorate according to my design and selections. Of course, I won’t jip you, the decoration budget is 500,000; anything over that, I’ll cover. As long as you follow my design and selections, without skimping. Also, I can pay in full."
Initially, Consultant Zhang showed a bit of hesitation, but upon hearing about the full payment, her eyes brightened and she breathed a little quicker.
"Okay, Mr. Chen, I’ll do my best to get this for you. I’ll call the manager right away for approval, please wait."
Consultant Zhang pretended to make a call inside the room, and five or six minutes later, she came back smiling brightly, announcing, "Mr. Chen, thanks to my persuasion, our manager has finally agreed."
"Alright, I’ll call my lawyer to come over, and we can sign the contract," Chen Feng said casually.
Half an hour later, under the lawyer’s witness, Chen Feng signed the purchase contract and paid the full amount.
The remaining procedures and the title deed would, of course, be handled by the sales center on this side.
As Chen Feng and Tian Xiaoman left the sales office and got into the car, Tian Xiaoman finally awoke as if from a dream, saying, "Did we just buy that villa?"
"Yes, we did. Surprised, unexpected?" Chen Feng asked with a smile.
"You’re way too casual, it’s like you’re buying vegetables at the market."
Tian Xiaoman looked at Chen Feng with a complex expression.
This time she had truly felt Chen Feng’s wealth firsthand; he really is rich!
