Chen Feng planned to buy a standalone villa in this west-side residential group because, looking to the future, his entire family would eventually move from the countryside to live in the city; this is the first must-do for many rural folks who come into money in the country.

Though the urban-rural gap is continuously narrowing in many areas, especially in coastal regions like theirs, the difference isn’t much anymore. Yet rural folks still tend to buy property in the city as soon as they have money.

The main reason for this is the imbalance in educational resources, with city schools generally better than those in the countryside by a long shot. So for their children’s education, many rural farmers will grit their teeth and even borrow money to put a down payment on a city house.

Of course, Chen Feng’s intention to buy a house wasn’t for future schooling, it was just a spontaneous decision, with enough money, just treating it as an investment.

First, buy it, then renovate, and later, lease it to Tian Xiaoman as agreed.

After letting her rent it for a year or two, when Chen Feng’s two nieces need to attend school in the county, his brother’s family of four will settle in the county area, and naturally, his parents will follow suit and live there.

By then, the house will be for his parents to live in.

The location near Citizen Park isn’t far from Yuelou Town, with a straight road leading to Baijia Square, making it convenient for his parents to commute to the Gold Store for work in the future.

Moreover, this area is only a few kilometers from his rural hometown, making trips back and forth quite convenient.
