The rain fell even harder against the glass windows of the main security office, creating a loud, rhythmic drumming sound that filled the room. Inside, the air was warm but tense.

Daniel stood by the main table, adjusting the strap of his tactical vest. His ears were alert, listening to the quiet footsteps in the hallway.

The heavy door pushed open. Harrison walked inside, his black shirt still damp from the rain down at the docks. The heavy, dark weight of his presence followed him into the room like a cold draft, making the space feel instantly smaller. He did not say hello. His face was a hard mask of pure focus, his dark eyes fixed on the empty main desk.

He drove like a mad man just to get here on time, he was tired of games, he has not slept well since the day Julius went missing. Every single hour felt like a year to him. He could feel the pulse in his neck beating fast, his muscles tight under his damp shirt.

"How is it going Daniel?" Harrison rumbled, his voice low and flat.

"Boss, Marcus has been keeping his eyes on them, they haven’t moved out." Daniel turned his body to face Harrison, keeping his hands steady. "The trucks are still in the same positions. We are just waiting for the green light."

Harrison did not answer right away. He pulled out his phone, his massive thumb pressing the screen as he dialed Anna. He held it to his ear, his chest rising and falling in one slow, heavy movement.

"Anna," Harrison commanded as soon as the line connected. "Tell Marcus to leave the office and come up to the security center right now. I want him here, we are moving."

He cut the call before she could reply and slid the phone back into his pocket. He turned his gaze to the large maps laid out on the table, his jaw clenching tight.

For a few minutes, the room was completely dead silent. The two men stood there, the weight of Harrison’s aggressive energy filling the air. Daniel kept his eyes down, knowing better than to speak while Harrison was in this mood. He looked like a bomb that was ready to go off at any second.

The elevator doors chimed, and Marcus walked into the room. He was carrying a small black tablet, his glasses sliding down his nose slightly as he hurried toward the main desk. He looked pale, his fingers tapping quickly against the screen.

"I have the main layout of the east district packing plant ready, sir," Marcus said, his voice quiet but steady. "The local grid is completely mapped."

Harrison looked up, his dark eyes scanning both of them. "Marcus, explain the technical tracking strategy to Daniel right now. I want him to know every single blind spot before his units touch the perimeter. They do not know we are close, and I want it to stay that way."

Marcus nodded, his fingers moving to the main computer keys. "The primary line feeds from the rear alley. When I cut the grid, their main security system will drop for exactly ninety seconds before their local generator kicks in. You need to use that window to move your men through the lower drainage pipe, Daniel."

Daniel frowned, leaning over the desk. "A ninety-second window is too small for five men with full gear, Marcus. If one of the valves is locked, my men will be caught in the open when the lights come back on. We need a wider margin."

"We do not have a wider margin," Marcus said, his tone rising slightly with annoyance as he kept his eyes on the screen. "If I hold the grid down any longer, their automated system will trigger a hard lockout, and the whole building will go into total defense mode. You just have to move faster."

"You always do this," Daniel argued, his voice tightening as he stepped closer to the desk. "You sit behind these screens and calculate numbers like human beings are just chess pieces. My men are risks on the ground. You cannot just guess the timing from here."

"I am not guessing, Daniel!" Marcus said, finally snapping his head up to glare at him. "I am looking at the live voltage lines. If you cannot clear a simple drainage pipe in a minute and a half, maybe you should let someone else lead the unit."

"Enough," Harrison rumbled.

The single word wasn’t loud, but it carried a terrifying weight that instantly froze the air in the room. Both men stopped talking immediately, their bodies going completely rigid as they turned to look at Harrison.

Harrison walked between them, his dark eyes cold enough to cut. He looked at Daniel, then at Marcus, his face completely serious.

"Sort out this shit," Harrison said, his low voice dripping with a dangerous promise. "Marcus, tell him what you told Anna. I need to get my weapons ready now."

"Understood, sir," Marcus said softly, adjusting his glasses.

Harrison turned on his heel and walked into his private inner office, slamming the door shut behind him to prepare his weapons. The room fell into a heavy silence. Daniel turned his gaze back to Marcus, his jaw tight. The anger and tension between the two men had nothing to do with the mission anymore. It was old, heavy, and full of unsaid words.

Daniel did not look at the screen. He looked down at the side of Marcus’s face, his eyes dark. He was tired of Marcus just acting like he did not exist.

"Is that all you have to say to me, Marcus? We are about to go into a live factory with armed guards, and you are talking to me like I am just a random soldier." Daniel said, looking at Marcus, waiting for him to say something. He took a slow step forward, his eyes burning into Marcus’s profile.

Marcus paused, his fingers hovering over the keyboard. He took a slow breath, keeping his eyes firmly on the maps. "I am doing my job, Daniel. Harrison wants you to know the entry points. That is what matters right now."

"I know you too well, Marcus. I know what you want," Daniel said, his voice dropping low as he looked down at Marcus’s lips. He closed the gap between them, his height swallowing Marcus whole. He stepped so close that Marcus could feel the heat radiating from Daniel’s tactical vest.

Marcus swallowed hard, his fingers curling tightly into his trousers. He did not pull away. He stayed right there, his chest rising and falling heavily as he stared back at Daniel, the unspoken memory of their past relationship hanging thick between them. "It doesn’t matter what I want. We have to stay sharp. If you lose your edge out there because of me—"

Before he could finish the sentence, the inner office door burst open.

Harrison walked out, his heavy black gun now tucked safely into his waist holster. The sudden movement made both men jump slightly, instantly separating from each other and stepping back into their proper positions. Marcus quickly turned back to his keyboard, his face flushing, while Daniel cleared his throat and stood flat at his sides.

Harrison walked up to the table, his dark eyes scanning their faces with a cold, knowing look. He had seen the way they stood close, the way the air in the room changed when he opened the door. He knew about their past, he never said a word about it to Daniel, it was something they needed to find out about together, but now he is sure they are a good fit, shit needs to be taken care of. But right now, there was no time for love.

The thick pressure of his presence was still radiating off his body, reminding them that the time for personal matters was officially over. He stepped up to the table, leaning his large hands on the table as he stared directly into Daniel’s eyes.

"Listen to me, Daniel," Harrison rumbled, his voice dropping into a dark, terrifying tone that filled every corner of the room. "Bringing Julius back alive is all that matters tonight. I don’t care about the building, I don’t care about the rules, and I don’t care who is inside. Anybody who stands in my way is dead. There will be no showing of mercy. Not from me, and not from you."

Daniel felt the hair on his arms stand up, but his gaze did not shake. He nodded hard. "I understand, boss."

"Gather the men," Harrison commanded, his face completely blank of human feeling. "Tell them to load up the vans right now. We are going down there to wipe them out." 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

"I am on it," Daniel said, his voice firm and professional as he grabbed his gear from the table. He did not look at Marcus again, forcing his mind back into the cold focus of the mission. "Marcus has the grid mapped out. They don’t know we are coming, and we are going to hit them before they can even blink."

Harrison did not say another word. He walked past them toward the private elevator, his heavy boots making a loud thud against the floor. His mind was completely focused on the meat factory on the east side. The fuse was burning down, and he was ready to destroy the world to bring Julius back home.

He stepped inside the elevator, the metal doors slowly closing in front of him. As the elevator started to descend into the lower garage, Harrison leaned his head back against the wall. His chest burned with a deep, silent ache that never left him.

"I’m coming for you Baby," Harrison whispered to himself.
