Alpha Rejected His True Luna
Chapter 125: Was She Jealous?
Alpha Kane
Ronald was getting on my nerves. In my pack, Marcus was getting on my nerves. Ronald didn’t want to stay away from Zara; the more I warned him, the more he wanted to make me.
I knew he wasn’t interested in Zara. She wasn’t exactly his type. He preferred slender women, which is why he slept with models.
But, like me, he also craved natural beauty.
That bastard knew me too well. He knew I was getting close to Zara, and he was determined to force me to open up. That’s why he ignored my warnings to stay away from Zara.
But what was disturbing was that Zara didn’t even want to normal conversation.
But whatever he said to her, sitting so close, she didn’t appreciate. I could tell from her face that she could barely stand all the nonsense he was spouting.
And then her gaze darted to me and settled on Amanda.
Damn! My Blue Rose was so jealous. She looked at her with such a blazing gaze that I had to hold back a smile.
It was time to ask her opinion, and I knew Zara would find fault with Amanda.
After the walk, I called her and Ronald. To my surprise, she was delighted. Although I felt she was holding back.
"So, it’s all decided. ’Amanda will be our star,’ I announced, informing Halima so she could continue rehearsals.
The decision was made with general approval, and I decided to tease Zara on the way to the pack. The rest of the day passed in a din. Office work had gotten busy, and I was busier than usual.
By evening, I was more tired than I expected. We decided to go to the pack.
"Can I take the stairs? It’s always easier to go down the stairs," she asked hopefully. She was now terrified of elevators.
"Of course! Let’s go." I offered her my arm, and she happily took it.
On the way down, we discussed various aspects of the Winter Gala, and she offered her valuable input.
"So, I saw smoke...You smelled like jealous smoke," I teased deliberately, and she shot me a sharp glance.
Poison.
"I’m not jealous of plastic dolls."
"You weren’t jealous of her looks, you were jealous that she was holding my hand," I added calmly, enjoying the possessive glint on her face.
"Just making sure no plastic fell on you." She glanced at the spot where Amanda was holding on and wrinkled her nose.
Oh my Goddess! She was seething with envy. I’d never seen her express her dissatisfaction with anyone so openly before.
She squeezed my hand tighter in languid possessiveness, and her soft features froze as she bit her lower lip.
She stopped smiling...
That wasn’t what I was after, so I decided to drop the subject.
"What would you like to eat? Let’s eat somewhere, whatever you choose, and I’ll share."
As always, it worked. I promised her I’d try one dish of her choice every day.
"Really?" She turned to me, and a sweet smile replaced her frown as we continued down.
"Uh-huh!" I nodded quietly.
"Ramen noodles, please. I want them so much." Of course! She’ll choose something spicy. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
"Ramen noodles, yes," I added quietly. We arrived at the underground parking lot. I opened the door and led her to the car.
Olfi was waiting for us. He quickly opened the door and helped her get settled first. Leaning over, I fastened her seatbelt and made sure she was comfortable. Once she was buckled, I climbed in on the other side.
As soon as the car started moving, I said to Olfi.
"Stop by the ramen place." He nodded briefly, and we took off.
Zara gazed out of the car at the city lights and passing cars with childish curiosity. I noticed she always enjoyed watching the world go by out the window in silence and solitude. The headlights illuminated half her beautiful face.
She looked at the lights, and I looked at her... my only source of light. Soon, Olfie parked at a ramen stand, and I told him to bring us two bowls.
"Make me spicy," she ordered Olfie excitedly, and he nodded before leaving.
As soon as the big man left, Zara turned to me, her expression filled with excitement. I sensed she was about to share something piquant with me.
"I saw Beta smiling yesterday. Literally smiling, his lips parted and his eyes shining."
I had to purse my lips at her brief remarks. "Really? And he must have been talking to Asbela then?"
Her eyes widened and glittered in the streetlight.
"Did you see it too? I think there’s something between them. But when I asked Asbela, she flatly refused." Zara’s expression sank, as if she were deeply disappointed by what was happening.
"They’re shy, very shy, especially Hunter. I know they’re close, but he’s afraid of rejection and hasn’t made a single move. But believe me, I’ve seen that big guy blush like a little girl whenever Asbela was around." I told her everything, and she absorbed every word like a sponge.
Without even blinking, as if afraid to miss a word. She excitedly grabbed my hands and turned toward me as far as her seatbelt would allow.
"Alpha, we need to do something. Push them together. They restrain themselves, pleeeaseee ..."

Zara
The eternally pessimistic block of ice. His eyes nearly bulged when I called him Alien from Neptune.
"What kind of name is that?" Alpha Kane asked with some curiosity.
"One that suits your personality," I remarked, and Alpha pushed forward, easily entering my personal space.
"You didn’t find me so cold when I warmed you that night, Blue Rose." His magnificent onyx eyes flashed challengingly, and he lowered his gaze to my lips. "Or we can go home, and I’ll demonstrate again to refresh your memory."
I retreated a little, too close; Alpha was too close to my traitorous body. It warmed from his gaze and words alone.
I had no restraint left when it came to Alpha; If he’d even initiated a kiss, I would have clawed at his skin, desperately trying to claim him completely.
"No need," the uncertainty in my voice was so obvious that Alpha Kane gave me his rare smile and placed both my hands on his chest.
Heat, like liquid fire, spread through my body, and my panties would soon be soaked if this wolf didn’t pull away.
A black fire of passion seemed to burn in his eyes as he slowly challenged.
