Aurora looked around the old castle, only now noticing how many flowers decorated the old castle. She was too nervous when she entered to take in how the once dusty ruined castle was far from how it looked on her last visit. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

There weren’t any more weeds growing in the walls and all the broken bits of stone had been taken out. The holes in the walls were covered by flowers.

"The big bad wolf took time to organize where flowers should go?" Aurora chuckled, humored by her imagination of Vincent telling others where to place this. She didn’t hear of anyone else helping him when it came to decorating.

"My wife enjoys flowers so it is only right that I take my time to make sure there are many for her to enjoy. Out of all things, why do you enjoy flowers?" Vincent asked as he came to stand by Aurora’s side. "Aside from you being created from that tree."

"It is simple. I have always been fascinated by their beauty and watching them bloom. They are beautiful little things and I grew up surrounded by nature. I remember Artemis threatening to turn me into a flower if I did not behave. Little did she know, I wouldn’t have minded it," Aurora smiled.

"I wouldn’t have liked it. I would have been searching for my mate not knowing she was turned into a flower. It was not as grand as the ones the people in town have and there were not too many people but did you enjoy it?" Vincent asked, referring to the wedding. He tried to make it like the ones humans had.

"Yes. I loved it. I prefer that it was kept a private moment. Everyone that knows me well is present and it seems like we should get prepared for another wedding to take place soon," Aurora said, referring to Victor and Cherry.

"I doubt it. I should kill them for trying to steal our moment," said Vincent.

Aurora chuckled because Vincent sounded like the women she would hear complaining about someone getting engaged at their wedding and stealing their spotlight. Aurora didn’t mind sharing the moment. "Leave them be, Vincent. I am that our wedding is bringing out the romance in others. I happen to like weddings so the more the merrier. I used to sneak to take a glance at them behind Artemis’s back."

"Hmm. There are more decorations in the castle. Do you want to explore more before going back? We cannot stay here long in case our presence catches the vampires’ attention. I am trying to avoid killing anyone on our wedding day. It is hard," Vincent stated, looking over Aurora at where Derek and Cherry stood once again talking about something pointless.

Aurora touched Vincent’s hand to calm him. "It is not hard, Vincent. Just keep your claws to yourself. Today must be a pain for someone like you who likes to stay away from everyone."

"It is not. I want them to come to congratulate me and respect their new leader. Have you forgotten?" Vincent asked because of her confused expression. "You are now the Luna. The highest rank among the women in my pack. There hasn’t been one since my late mother. You will help rule by side. I have to apologize now since the position can be a pain in the ass sometimes."

"I do not know how that slipped my mind. We should hurry back home. Everyone must be excited to see you now that you are married. You did a great job with the castle, Vincent. I hope just the two of us can come back before the flowers start to wilt," said Aurora. She wanted to take her time and walk through the castle once again. "Oh hi," Aurora greeted Tara who came to Vincent’s side.

"Congratulations," she said, taking hold of Vincent’s hand. "Are you a princess now?"

"Something like that," Aurora replied.

"Luna," Abigail stated. "That is what the book mother gives to us to study says. Right mother?" She looked back at Jane.

Jane stepped forward to hold Abigail’s hand. "That is right. I have been teaching them our culture and traditions. Abigail is learning quickly. Tra is more fascinated with princes and princesses. Not that I mind. She is still young. Tara shows interest in the weapons I keep at home so she might become a warrior. Everyone has started to head back home. I will see you then," she bid goodbye. "Come girls."

"We are leaving too. I want to celebrate this new beginning with everyone. Would you like to ride with us on the way back?" Aurora asked Tara who had not let go of Vincent’s hand even though Jane called for her.

Seeing Vincent with the little one fueled her desire to have a family with him soon. It was even more special that it wasn’t a wolf child he was holding onto. Vincent didn’t look happy with his hand being held but he made no attempt to shake Tara off.

"Yes," Tara jumped up and down, excited to be with the princess and prince. "Are you coming with us, Abagail?"

"No. I want to stay with mom and dad," Abigail replied, looking up at Jane who was happy to have one of the girls sticking. "You were going to show us where we used to train."

Derek on the other hand wasn’t happy with Tara’s obsession with Vincent. What part of Vincent was a prince? Being the alpha didn’t mean that. He had explained this to her many times but Tara let it slip out of her memory each time Vincent came around. ’I am more of a prince than Vincent. I saved them,’ Derek thought.

Vincent didn’t enjoy the murderous look coming from Derek as he walked by him. To piss Derek off, he lifted Tara into his arms and smiled as he walked out of the castle.

"For someone not trying to have a fight on our wedding day he sure loves provoking others," Aurora muttered.
