Battlefield No. 3

I held the white bone staff in my right hand. When the foreign creature got closer toward me, I shifted my grip toward the top end.

I firmly gripped the top end, then I swung at the oncoming foreign creature.

Boom!

The staff came in contact with the body and landed a heavy hit. The staff weapon had no inheritance force, but it carried brute force.

The impact force pushed the foreign creature backward in the end.

The creature further stumbled and collided into the other foreign creature coming from behind.

Boom!

The other foreign creatures ran over the body to reach me. I knew it was not the time to experiment.

I covered the white bone staff in lightning inheritance force. The white bone staff glowed in purple lightning.

Smash!

Right then, a big foreign creature reached me. It had four legs with a lengthy body. I rotated the white bone staff before bringing it down to strike the creature.

The end of the staff contacted the head of the foreign creature.

Boom!

An explosion occurred the next second. The purple lightning bolts went rampaging. It struck the head and blasted away the creature. I didn't stop there. The other creatures almost ganged up on me.

I started swinging the white bone staff toward my left and right. Each contact made by the tip of the white bone staff caused an explosion.

The lightning power was destructive. It helped blast away the creatures without much effort. The foreign creatures were landing all around the battlefield one by one.

Meanwhile

The warriors watching from a distance were all awestruck. Because the creatures which were getting beaten were not ordinary creatures, but of the Purple Mark level.

They could be said to be the strongest among the Purple Mark level creatures.

It was hard to block even one of their attacks. Yet here Zack Lockwood was easily taking care of them. They couldn't wrap their heads around it.

Among the warriors who were watching this unbelievable fight, there were planted spies as well. They were ready to move, but the foreign creatures had made a move before them.

Seeing that the foreign creatures were all blindly confronting Zack Lockwood instead of using their power, the warriors were shocked.

They understood that the foreign creatures wanted the credit.

They forgot to think rationally during the fight.

There were warriors from the Dark Variant Faction and the Elemental Factions there.

Their factions' higher-ups had been looking for Zack Lockwood as well. It was because of the Thunder Flame Faction that they hadn't made any big moves yet.

The faction members looked at each other. They had heard of Zack Lockwood.

They only knew he was a Silver Mark Warrior and could fight across ranks. But here, everyone could see a golden aura surrounding Zack Lockwood.

The aura was thick and stable. It showed that Zack Lockwood was not a Silver Mark Warrior, but a Gold Mark Warrior.

It was huge, shocking news in itself. Now the young man was beating around the foreign creatures.

He could beat them down as well. The warriors were hesitating; especially the warriors with bad intentions were backing down.

They didn't want to take the risk. If someone took action and got caught, he would be charged with treason. His end would be worse than death.

No one wanted to face that situation. But in their minds, they had decided to report it back to the higher-ups. The matter couldn't be kept secret.

On the other hand, there were warrior teams from Dark Shadow University, Giant Tower University, Eclipse University, Silver University, and Red Moon University as well.

They were watching the fight with visible shock on their faces. Their universities had hostile feuds against Star University, except for Red Moon University, which was neutral.

If they could take down Zack Lockwood, it would be good news for them and the universities behind them.

This battlefield was different, located inside an isolated space. Only the teleportation platforms connected to it.

If they took action, no one from the outside could see it. Their problem was the Star University warriors. If one of them reported it, then Star University wouldn't let it go.

Not only that, the supervisor of the warrior camp was no ordinary person. He was an elder from Star University. If they were to do anything to a Star University warrior, he would know.

So, they couldn't take the risk of killing all the foreign creatures there.

Boom!

I continued to pour the lightning inheritance force to cover the white bone staff. I was smashing one creature after another.

After getting one hit from the white bone staff, the foreign creatures were not getting up.

But it was exhausting. At the same time, I had to keep an eye on the surroundings.

I had threats not only from the foreign creatures but from human warriors as well. There could be planted spies among them.

What surprised me was that everyone was watching the battle from the sidelines. No one was coming forward to help me.

It gave me a more dangerous feeling. Not even the warriors from Star University were helping out.

It sent a bad signal. I didn't know whether anyone from the Thunder Flame Faction was even there.

I shook my head. It was not the time to worry about that. Earlier, I had a plan to take down everyone. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

But reality forced me to change my plans.

Since it was my first time here on this battlefield, I would hold on until the battle alarm occurred. I didn't want to be sneak-attacked by human warriors or foreign creatures.

Meanwhile,

There were warriors from the Thunder Flame Faction there. They were watching the battle from the sidelines as well.

It was not like they didn't want to help. They were afraid.

Not only did the foreign creatures want Zack Lockwood dead, but some of the forces from the human side wanted the same as well.

If they were to intervene, then they would be ganged up on by others.

If all the Star University warriors were dead, then it would become an easy task for the enemies.

More than that, the Thunder Flame Faction warriors were scared for their own lives.

They could only hope for Zack Lockwood to withstand the onslaught until the battle alarm occurred.
