Battlefield No. 3

My gaze fell on the four-legged creature. It was struggling to get up despite its injuries. A quick gleam appeared in my eyes.

I rushed to the side of the struggling creature and struck with a lightning attack.

Boom!

Purple lightning bolts released from my right hand. In a flash, the lightning bolts struck down the injured four-legged creature.

A deafening noise occurred.

Shriek!

The four-legged creature let out a terrifying scream. This time, the lightning bolts caused further damage, electrocuting its body.

Its vitality was already decreasing; now it was dropping at a rapid rate. Under my gaze, the four-legged creature slowly died.

Swoosh!

Right then, I picked up something in my perception: an attack coming towards me. I sidestepped to evade the attack.

Boom!

A black streak of energy cut through the empty air before hitting the ground.

The next second, the ground split open. It created a long vertical gap. A pile of skeletons and other remains fell into the gap.

Seeing that, my eyes turned cold. If the attack were to land on me, I would be severely injured. I turned towards the source where the attack came from.

I saw a tall, horned foreign creature. It had four long arms and two legs. The four arms were acting like scythes, striking at the warriors in front.

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. Where did the beam attack come from? Then I saw two horns above its head were glowing.

They were covered in black runes. I understood where the black energy generated from. The horned creature released an attack all of a sudden.

Boom!

The black beam of energy tore through the air before striking a group of warriors. The attack was so sudden and powerful that all the warriors were caught off guard.

The impact force sent their bodies flying back. Their bodies flew through the mid-air before crashing into the ground.

The Purple Mark Warriors were all injured by the sudden attack. No one expected a black beam attack from the foreign creature.

It was a powerful and sudden attack. The horned creature cracked a wide grin on its face, which revealed rows of uneven, sharp teeth.

I looked at the horned creature. The horned creature suddenly turned towards me.

Our gazes met. The next second, I felt that the horned creature’s next target was me. I saw its runes glowing.

Seeing that, I used a movement technique right away.

"Lightning Phantom"

Purple lightning bolts covered both of my legs. I sprinted from the spot, my body moving in a zigzag manner.

Swoosh!

The speed was so fast that it would be hard for the creature to strike me. And it happened.

The horned creature noticed the target was weaker. A Gold Mark Warrior is an easy kill. It decided to attack right away.

A black beam of energy shot from the horn. The energy went in a straight line, targeting the warrior.

The horned creature was expecting a kill, but it didn’t expect the target to move in a zigzag manner. The beam missed the target and struck the ground.

Once again, the impact caused the site to explode. It created a huge, deep pit in the ground.

On the other hand, I closed the gap between me and the horned creature. When I got closer to the creature, I shouted:

"Lightning Ball"

I released a lightning ball. The lightning ball shot out from my right hand. In an instant, the lightning ball hit the ground at the feet of the horned foreign creature.

Boom!

A terrific explosion occurred. The purple lightning bolts landed on the foreign creature. The horned creature took the full brunt of the attack.

The lightning bolts were the inheritance force of the Gold Mark Level, yet the power they carried was enormous and destructive.

Thud!

The tall creature stumbled backwards before falling to the ground. The landing was heavy, creating shockwaves.

The nearby warriors and foreign creatures were stunned. The four-armed creature race was one of the elites among the foreign races.

They didn’t expect to see the creature pushed back. But when they turned around to see the person responsible, another shocker was awaiting them.

They found out that the attacker was just a Gold Mark Warrior, not a Purple Mark Warrior. The foreign creatures and human warriors understood that he was a genius. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

A genius warrior from the human side had entered the battlefield.

The foreign creatures had a common order: no matter what, they had to eliminate any genius warrior from the human side upon seeing them.

The other foreign creatures who were fighting nearby stopped fighting all of a sudden. They started rushing towards the genius human warrior.

They not only wanted to eliminate the threat, but they also wanted to claim the credit for killing a genius warrior.

The warriors were taken aback. Most of them didn’t recognize the face, but a few recognized Zack Lockwood.

There is only one genius warrior who can fight across ranks with purple lightning: Zack Lockwood. The purple lightning is a signature no other warrior can use.
