Apocalypse Lord
Chapter 118 - 102: The Curtain Rises! (Part 2)
"My dear Olivia, I remember you love flowers the most, so I specially arranged for someone to find these Snowbells for you..."
Ryan placed a bouquet of pure white flowers in front of the head.
He stroked the bloodstained hair of the Princess, his tone full of affection: "It can bloom even in winter, do you like it?"
Olivia stared with vacant eyes, speechless.
"Why aren’t you speaking?"
Ryan was somewhat puzzled: "Are you mad at me?"
That handsome face instantaneously twisted, and he yanked the other’s hair, slamming it hard against the table, over and over!
"Why don’t you listen to me! Why did you betray me!! Why did you obey that damned Alliance diplomat!!"
The Prince panted, his eyes filled with mad hatred: "Why did you let me suffer that humiliation!! I must kill that diplomat!!"
Blood splattered, and the head was smashed beyond recognition.
The nearby ministers were oblivious, still bowing their heads, their eyes feverishly devouring the food in front of them.
In the next moment, Prince Ryan gently cradled that ghastly head against his chest.
"It’s alright, it’s alright, I’ve forgiven you, Olivia..."
The Prince’s tone was extremely gentle: "Don’t be afraid, from this day on, we’ll be together forever..."
A sudden clatter sounded.
A round mechanical contraption was suddenly tossed in front of the Prince.
BOOM!!!
The last Gear Bomb exploded, shattering Ryan’s body, the surrounding ministers, half of their bodies blown off, collapsed to the ground, the rising flames igniting the whole banquet table!
Eerily, no one at the scene uttered a sound.
The attendants continued serving food and wine beside the nobles, those Lion Heart ministers still feasted on the flesh and blood before them.
Even with their companions dying horrifically in front of them, they remained oblivious, some even crawled onto the bomb-ravaged corpses, greedily burying their heads...
Eleanor, her face grim, pulled the trigger continuously, the chefs wielding knives blew up one after another, she strode towards the children, bending down to check their condition.
Eleanor let out a slight sigh of relief.
Just then, she heard the sound of flesh writhing.
Eleanor turned back with a cold face, seeing blood and meat on the ground gathering like maggots into a mass, eyeballs with feathers creeping back and forth within the gaps of the flesh.
The grotesque mass eventually assumed a human form, Prince Ryan opened his eyes once more.
He looked around quickly, hurriedly picking up Olivia’s remaining skull fragments, carefully brushing away the dirt.
"Beautiful lady, your rude behavior might frighten Olivia, she is naturally tender-hearted..."
Prince Ryan looked up, politely smiling at the Chaos Pirates: "I suppose you are the legendary Doragon people? May I invite you to join this banquet?"
BANG!
Eleanor pulled the trigger, completely losing the desire to communicate with these lunatics.
Prince Ryan staggered, half of his face blasted away by the bullet, but he still did not fall, the remaining part of his face maintaining a cultured expression.
In the next moment, Eleanor saw the body of a minister suddenly deflate, it murmured fervently, quickly turning into rotten blood.
Meanwhile, Ryan’s head rapidly regenerated, he stared intensely at the figure of the Chaos Pirates, excitement unhidden in his eyes.
"I have never seen such a pure and beautiful soul..."
Ryan tossed aside the skull fragments like trash, the smile on his face grew ever more fervent: "Beautiful lady, you were born to be the perfect sacrifice..."
This guy is indeed different from ordinary Celestial Calamity followers...
Eleanor’s heart stirred, she tightly grasped the Philosopher’s Stone given to her by Lord Roland, golden threads instantly connected to the corners of the tall woman’s eyes.
Then she saw clearly.
Whether it be the elderly ministers or the young attendants, every one of them had a translucent blood-colored umbilical cord extending from their bodies, all converging above Prince Ryan’s head, forming three floating rings!
Pure white feathers adorned the surface of the twisted flesh rings, sacred yet sinister.
And it wasn’t just them... More and more umbilical cords, relying on the ’corrupted space,’ were connected from all directions to the three rings above.
Eleanor, her face cold, instantly fired two shots at the rings and Ryan!
The specially crafted bullets shredded Ryan’s upper body once again, but the bullets aimed at the rings vanished into thin air!
Another minister’s body turned to pus and blood, like a placenta, its umbilical cord pumping all its essence into the sacred rings.
The Prince was like a newborn ready to be born at any moment.
The holy feathers on the ring swayed gently, flesh surging, Ryan’s upper body swiftly regenerated, as if reborn into the world.
"You livestock, when will you ever understand the supreme truth of the Ouroboros True God..."
Ryan picked up the knife and fork from the platter, fetching Olivia’s skull again, pressing it against his face, his expression ever more intoxicated:
"Everyone... everyone will unite in the great abyss..."
He burst into hysterical laughter: "So I must reap more for Him! I must strive for more for Him!!"
A chill suddenly rose from the depths of Eleanor’s heart.
The Abyssal Calamity was not always like this...
Although Eleanor learned of the concept of ’finality’ from Lord Roland, it was her first time confronting the desperate truth capable of bringing despair to all living beings.
The Celestial Calamity is growing!
The Celestial Calamity in the Deep Sea is growing using the land!!
The Abyssal Calamity, representing ’endless’ and ’abyss,’ is plundering the concepts of ’rebirth’ and ’soul’!
In the next instant, a drastic change occurred in the corridor behind Eleanor, giant twisted umbilical cords wavered like serpentine tails, sweeping towards the Chaos Pirates!
The world seemed to transform into a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, countless blood-colored umbilical cords completely engulfing Eleanor’s silhouette.
The King of Pirates was already within the ’cocoon.’
"God pities humanity, thus bestowing infinite abyss!"
Ryan spread his arms, as if countless voices echoed in the Prince’s throat, praying devoutly along with him.
He kneeled on the ground, uttering a devout hymn: "Billions of soul spirits will forever grovel at His feet, faithful believers shall ascend to the Celestial Kingdom of Ouroboros!"
He had long received the reward bestowed by the Red Angel, the supreme ring that only the Bishop was worthy to possess, was the best proof!
"Strip away the soul! Blood sacrifice to the Abyss!"
The Ouroboros Bishop cried out loudly: "Whether it’s the plains of the Western Border or Camelot, they are all soul crucibles offered to You!"
Regrettably, an unexpected guest from the Southern Territory disturbed the Angel’s pace, everything was a bit rushed, he ultimately couldn’t stop the footsteps of the Alliance People and Imperial People.
But the souls of millions were already enough for the Lord Angel to digest, the glory of Ouroboros would have more opportunities to return to the land in the future.
Yet in the next moment, the earth trembled slightly.
Ryan struggled to steady himself, turning back to see a pair of enormous menacing black wings had already torn through the bindings of the blood flesh umbilical cords.
The pitch-black storm obscured the figure of the Doragon people, chaotic and disorderly color lines outlined a pair of fierce, raging vertical pupils!
"Come! Come! Come!"
The Black-winged Calamity Master roared with raging thunder: "I want to see how much power you, this Celestial Calamity wretch, truly possess!"
·
The sky turned a deep red, and a bitter snowstorm enveloped the skies over Camelot.
It was as if a giant hand brutally tore at the atmosphere, churning the entire world into chaos with a pitch-black storm.
And right above the Royal Court castle, a fortress of cold steel howled through the blizzard, its wings flapping as it hovered in mid-air!
A gray-haired boy stood in front of the main control area screen.
Lin Lan quietly watched the changing weather, his gaze deep and profound.
