Ved took a detour startling the others, he explained to Naledi and she nodded with excitement.

She wanted to know what he can do when he obtained that energy. She knew Ved couldn't use essence.

Yet he was this strong, she wondered how strong he'll be with an energy source like mana in his arsenal.

Ved increased his speed a bit and in less than a day they arrived in a new domain, this domain felt strange.

Its clouds were colourful, some were pink, others were blue, gold, red and many other colours.

The same went for the trees below, they were saw a geyser that looked like a volcano spewing very thick water like lava.

Strange as it was, it didn't shake them, after all the universe was a mysterious plane and it was prone to have very strange lifeforms and places. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Manas directed Ved in a certain direction and the closer they got to it, the weirder the place looked.

A few kilometres around what looked like a candy tree, the ground seemed to be made of some bouncy material.

Everything had a cartoonnish vibe to it, but it was still to an acceptable degree of logic. He landed In front of the tree and sniffed it.

The thick mana here, it assaulted his senses, it smelled delicious, almost like candy.

Or perhaps he was just smelling the tree, he couldn't tell. Directed by Manas he reacted out and touched the tree.

The moment he did, his entire body was sucked inside and the others were left behind dumbfounded.

Naledi panicked and tried to follow but she couldn't enter, she was forced to stand still and wait.

Ved appeared above a colourful forest that had a strong cartoonnish vibe, everything looked like it had been drawn by a child.

Everything except one, a single purple pony with a rainbow tail, it galloped towards him and danced around him.

" Hello hello hello, are you a dragon, are you a dragon, can you breath fire? Do magic do magic, what kind of magic do you do?" It sent a barrage of questions his way in a childish voice.

Ved almost laughed, the pony was too cute, however he couldn't detect its power level which made him uneasy.

" Ved, I might've made a mistake." Manas's voice caught him off guard.

' what do you mean by that?' he asked almost panicking.

" I thought this was a mana node, I was wrong, that tree is a portal to the mystic dimension of magic.

Congratulations, you're probably the only manifestation realm person to have entered two dimensions."

He sighed, ' I would've preferred to not be, this is dangerous.' he wasn't lying, at least he was able to leave the dream dimension at will.

But he couldn't, he didn't even know how to leave the mystic dimension, nor did he have any idea how dangerous it was.

It could be even more dangerous than the dream dimension which, not including the dream guard, had its own dangers.

" Relax, the mystic dimension is mostly safe, the creatures here tend to have a childlike innocence.

Even the old ones are playful and peaceful, they would rather play and create than fight, plus most don't even need to eat.

Do be careful though, dark magical creatures do exist and they are incredibly dangerous."

' Oh yes, thank you, I'm glad there are incredibly dangerous creatures where you sent me.'

" This isn't time to be smart, you need to find a mana source and absorb mana then leave this place, shit."

She cursed, Manas didn't curse unless things were very very bad. He looked to his left and saw a black cloud of thunder approaching.

The pony next to him flew down and hid in the forest. He saw a larger pony flying from the distance.

" Where's my daughter?" It asked the moment it appeared next to Ved, he pointed down and it flew there.

" Mister dragon, run before that bad thing eats you." The young pony shouted, its mother grabbed it and flew off.

Ved was confused but Manas shouted at his head. " She's right, that a devouring none cloud."

' A what?'

" Forget the name you just need to run, if you're caught up in that thing, you'll be erased from existence, body and soul."

That greatly terrified Ved, it should be mentioned how terrifying that was. Even if you destroyed somebody's body and soul.

There was something called a codex, you can consider it a soul DNA, it's what goes through the circle of reincarnation., it defies each individual.

The codex couldn't be destroyed but being erased from existence was different, even the codex would seize to be.

He immediately turned around and flew off but the cloud was faster, or rather it seemed to skip space and time and suddenly appear somewhere else like it had always been there.

Ved panicked, the cloud was obviously chasing him and it wouldn't be long before it caught up.

He gritted his teeth and used everything he had, the laws of heaven were barely existence in the mystic dimension.

This meant he was able to break the speed of light and travel faster than he possibly can outside.

Yet he still couldn't out fly the cloud but just as it was about to catch up he saw a pitch black Pegasus unicorn running towards him on a rainbow bridge.

The Pegasus unicorn gave him a side glance and flew towards the the dark cloud which surprised him.

He turned his head to look but didn't stop flying. The Pegasus unicorn faced the cloud and its horn lit up with rainbow coloured lights.

It shot a rainbow at the cloud, he heard a loud roar inside the cloud then it disappeared like a puff of smoke.

Ved looked at this Pegasus unicorn and wondered how powerful it was. ' What's the rank of this creature?'

He asked Manas but just before she could answer he heard another voice in his head.

' I'm not a creature, child of the old one, my name is Arun, a servant of the north king of the four mystic kings.

Also, us magical beings are not divided into ranks, that is a limit placed by the heavens but the heavens have no authority here.'

This caught Ved by surprise and he grew fearful, ' It can read my mind.' he thought and regretted it a moment later.

' I'm not reading your mind, you're broadcasting it everywhere like an idiot, this is not the mortal dimension.

Here, thought is reality, so he carefully what you're thinking, also, it's not it but him, remember that.'

The Pegasus unicorn turned into a rainbow streak and disappeared into the horizon leaving Ved dumbfounded.

" I found a mana source, get going." Manas brought him back from this thought.
