Ved flew down, the mana source was a pool of rainbow coloured liquid about 50 metres wide.

" Drink it."

Manas told him and he took a sip, it felt like drinking hot source, it had a burning sensation in his mouth and chest.

The rainbow energy settled at the centre of his stomach and gathered into a pool there, he continued drinking.

He drank more than the pool's worth yet it did not decrease in the slightest. Finally the energy inside him couldn't grow at all.

It was time to leave but before that he wanted to test his magic, as a dragon he could only use dragon magic.

He was better at dragon tongue than even Linglong, he did have Manas as a teacher after all.

Magic was akin to reality manipulation, the only limit to it was the amount of mana one had and their own will.

Ved had an incredibly powerful will but he didn't know how much effect it would have when he's using dragon magic.

He looked at a tree not far away, " change."

His voice came out like a heavenly decree, his mana stirred.

He lost a small potion of it, he pictured a beautiful white rabbit in his head and the tree changed into a white rabbit and hopped away.

He stood there frozen, ' Isn't this a bit too ridiculous? What can defeat power like this?' Ved doubted even laws could achieve this level of control over reality.

" Don't let it get on your head, using magic is easier in the mystic dimension but the heavens will resist you in the mortal dimension.

It's similar to how you can change reality as you see fit in the dream realm but can't do the same in the real world.

Come to think of it, dream manipulation and magic can achieve the same things, it's just that, the dream realm is under the control of heavens making it harder for it to effect the real world like magic."

Ved had figured that out a long time ago, he believed once he comprehended the law of dreams he could change dreams into reality and vise versa.

He drank more to replenish the mana he used to cast that spell then left. Manas led him to a portal he could use to leave.

He reappeared outside and found Naledi and the others waiting. " How long have I been gone?" He asked.

" About 10 seconds." Naledi replied which surprised him, he was certain he was in the mystic realm for much longer than that.

" Did you find what you were looking for?" She asked and he grinned proudly.

" Good, because we might need it." That caught him off guard then he heard a boisterous laugh.

BOOOOM, the ground exploded and a wave spread out in every direction. The dust cleared and a giant man appeared in a large crater.

The man had dark skin and long braids, he stood at 4 metres tall with muscles so thick his skin looked like it would explode.

Both Ved and Naledi had grim faces, they could tell he was strong but it was more than that.

This man was a titan, titans were a great race, while not at the level of the four supreme races they stood equal to the Arkhalam, boasting a sovereign of their own.

This titan had the cultivation level of a comprehension realm, the law of might and earth radiated off him.

It was easy to detect, Ved was sensitive to the law of might, it was the natural law of dragons.

As for earth, they could all feel the mountainous pressure just for being near this man.

Titans were not very talkative and they loved fighting, the moment the dust cleared he attacked.

The world bent around him and he appeared In front of Ved like a shadow and punched. His punch shook the sky and the earth, time seemed to slow down.

Ved had no time to react and frankly, he couldn't react to that speed. The fist landed on his chest. His scales did nothing to stop that punch.

A large hole was blown through his body, he shot back like a missile and collided with a mountain 500 metres away.

The mountain bounced like rubber and Ved shot back towards the titan. The titan clicked his tongue thinking he was dead.

He was still disappointed since he had expected more from a dragon, he didn't even use his laws in that punch.

Unfortunately for him, even without actively using laws, his every action radiated with laws.

Naledi reacted and used her soul force, her image and second phase. She stabbed her sword and the entire domain they were in froze hundreds of thousands of kilometres.

All the unlucky lifeforms turned into ice statues but she didn't care, she was not at liberty to hold back.

She wondered how this man had found them. He raised his hand and deflected her sword, " Stand back, I don't want you."

He told her but Naledi didn't give a fuck, if he wanted to hurt Ved, he would have to deal with her.

He flicked a finger at her, she coated her sword with her divine flames and stabbed him.

This caught him off guard and the sword pierced through his finger. A wave of cold energy froze the blood in his hand.

A stabbing pain cut through him like needles but instead of grimacing he grinned. She clicked her tongue and retreated dozens of kilometres.

" You're more interesting than the little dragon, I apologise for disrespecting you great she warrior."

The titans respected strength more than anything, especially physical strength, her being able to wound him while an entire rank below was worthy of his respect even if she didn't rely on physical strength like them.

" You are the divine child? Good, I hope you do not die too soon." He turned towards her and stretched his body.

Alucard and the two girls had retreated hundreds of kilometres away to not be caught up in the fight.

Had they not, they might've die from the shockwaves of a battle of this level.

The titan placed one foot forward and drew back his fist, he was ready to pounce on her when he heard a loud explosion to his left.

He turned and saw the dragon surrounded by different lights that danced around him like ribbons.

" Barrier Negate." Ved's voice boomed like a heavenly mandate. A black mark suddenly appeared on the titan's bare chest.
