Beast Evolution System: Devourer of Heaven
Chapter 364: Stand Off
The fists landed and a calamitous shockwave spread out ripping the sky and the ground apart.
Ved had tried to use formless shift but the laws within the fist were like a cage locking up his abilities and traits and he failed to use formless shift.
Both Ved and Naledi were sent flying with broken bodies. Naledi's divine flames were stronger so she fared better than he did.
Ved crashed on the ground and created a massive crater and he stayed there unable to move.
The law of might ravaged his body inside out preventing him from healing. His image did its best to no avail.
These laws were even stronger than the ones used by that wind guy. The titan landed on top of his body.
" Still alive?" He sounded surprised then delighted, Ved had expected him to attack so he tried to move but the titan jumped off him.
" Both of you are very interesting, I'll come find you when you're stronger." Before Bed found say anything the titan flew off. ππ»πππππ«π£π€πππ΅.ππ€π’
He disappeared beyond the horizon in a split second. Ved sighed with relief, he knew the only reason they were alive was because the titan didn't want to kill them.
In fact if he was serious, Ved and Naledi were unlikely to have had been able to even resist those punches.
The titan slowed down his punche's speed to give them a chance to use their own abilities on purpose.
He tried to stand up but his body felt like it was being cut by blades and pounded by mountains.
The other three arrived right then with pale faces, the lingering aura in this battlefield was hard for them to handle.
They tried to take Ved but he was too heavy for them, despite his size his body was incredibly dense and probably heavier than a planet.
They took Naledi and Ved forced his battered body to move and they flew out of this domain to the nearest one.
After they left, a single flower bloomed in the battlefield and in the sky, a wisp of mist shifted before disappearing.
They found a hidden underground cave and rested there, it took two months to remove the laws inside their bodies.
After they healed Ved flew back to the battlefield to look for the candy tree, he believed it must've been destroyed during the fight.
However when the got there he found it still standing without a single mark id damage on it.
He wondered how durable this soft looking tree actually was before flying through it to the mystic dimension again.
He found the mana source and drank up mana until he was full then flew out but just before he left Manas stopped him.
" Take the tree, it's a portal to the mystic realm, as long as you have it, you will have a stable source of mana."
That made him excited and he uprooted the tree, uprooting was not correct since the tree did not have roots.
He flew with it back to find the others, along the way he tried to use magic but his throat hurt evertime he did.
" Casting that spell damaged your dragon cords, you need to rest before you can use your dragon magic again.
Also try to use magic at that scale a little less in the future otherwise if you damage your dragon cords too much you'll never be able to use magic again."
He nodded, he didn't mind that, it was not like he was planning to fight law comprehension realm experts all the time.
He found the others, they climbed on to his back and they took off heading towards Eravel.
Because they had to travel while hiding and running from those hunting them, it took nearly a year and a half to get to Eravel but they eventually did.
The city was more than anything Ved had ever seen. It stretched for nearly 700 000 kilometres.
There were mountains and rivers within th city. Ved landed near the gates and took his human form.
That was until he saw other spiritual beasts nearly his size getting inside the city without issue that he relaxed.
Eravel was a free city designed to accommodate all races, it was not under any power but it did have two powers funding it.
While the guild itself didn't have it own sovereign, the two powers, the merchant guild and Myriad Heavenly Sect.
Both those forces were old, they had existed since before the great war and naturally had a much stronger foundation than the mercenary guild.
Ved transformed back into his true form, even though he was being hunted, fighting within the city was prohibited.
However he had underestimated the forces after his life. Before they could get in they were stopped by the guards.
" Please come to this side." One of the guards asked them.
" Why?" Naledi asked, " You let the others through without issue."
" Ma'am this is protocol, please don't make things hard for me." The guard said with a cheeky smile.
Ved saw the other guard taking out a communication device and calling somebody.
Before the guard could react he found himself bound by strings, he struggled to escape to no avail.
The guard was a manifestion realm just like Ved but he was helpless against him.
" You dare attack a guard of Eravel, you deserve death!" A voice shouted from within the city.
The two guards grinned, realising things were getting bad Ved decided to kill these two first before trying to escape.
But just as he was about to act a bust of light appeared in front of them blinding everybody.
From the light came out a beautiful woman with pitch black hair and a tan skin tone, she had toned muscles that look like they were made from steel.
" City lord." The guards knelt down, a man in blazing fire appeared then froze, he was the one who had shouted earlier.
" City lord, are you here to deliver justice upon those rule breakers? There's no need to bother yourself, let this subordinates take care of them for you."
The man suggested with a fawning smile, he thought the city lord also wanted the rewards for these two.
But he had went to a lot of effort to bribe guards to cause the two trouble if they come here and even promised to protect them from the consequences.
The city lord turned her head towards the two guards, " Has Eravel put these two in any watch list?"
She asked in a cold voice and the guards shook with fear and looked down but did not dare answer.
" The city lord asked you a question you incompetent fools why are you quiet?" The fat man shouted spewing saliva everywhere.
Ved couldn't believe the shamelessness of this guy, to think a comprehension realm could act like this.
The guards thought the same, after all they were working under his orders. The city lord merely glanced at him.
The man kept shouting insults at the guards leaving everybody dumbfounded. The city lord took Ved and Naledi and was about to enter the city when a change occurred.
Four figures appeared out of thin air, all of them with auras not weaker than that of the city lord.
They were all at the creation realm, they surrounded the city lord and the others and glared at her coldly.
" Give them to us Osiel." One of them ordered in a cold voice laced with an unhidden disdain.
Like Osiel he was also a Nephilim and he obviously looked down on her. Osiel raised her eyebrow.
" And who the fuck are you?" The question made the man red with anger, he thought she was mocking him.
But the truth was that she really had no idea who the fuck this idiot was, she recognised only two of the people here.
One was an official of the Empire of steel of the three human empires and the other was a member of the blue Ahnunaki clan.
The last one was a man who was riding a bear, he was obviously a member of the druids of the three human forces.
He looked around at everything with a bored expression like he did not even want to be there.
Osiel sighed, " Do you intent to act here, within the city of Eravel?" She asked coldly.
The Nephilim laughed in a deep voice, " Do you think the merchant guild and that puny sect can protect you? Do you know the type of people after these two?"
He threatened her and Osiel hesitated, seeing the hesitation in her eyes he smiled mockingly.
" I do, what of it?" Everybody suddenly heard a voice and a field of flowers grew on the ground, from them rose a beautiful woman whose hair was adorned in colourful flowers.
" Wilflower." The Nephilim growled but he wasn't worried, they still outnumbered them two to one.
Unfortunately for him, the druid guy sighed and took a step back. The others looked at him and he shrugged.
" I'm not risking by baby in a stupid fight." He said in a sleepy voice and patted the bear below him then fell asleep on its furry back.
