Beast Evolution System: Devourer of Heaven
Chapter 371: King’s Call Once More
Ved and Naledi flew for days until they arrived where the battle has taken place then they felt themselves being watched.
" Shit, they found us." He whispered and Naledi nodded, they could sense multiple powerful auras around them.
Space rippled and out came 4 people, one had blue skin and four arms, two horns and holes for ears.
The other had red skin and stood nearly twenty metres tall. He had bone spikes growing on his back.
The third person was a woman who looked humanoid but she had a crystal on her head that looked like a third eye.
The last one was the most terrifying, he was a member of the Arkhalam race, the strongest race amongst the four present here.
The other four were from some weak alien races, neither Ved nor Naledi even recognised their races.
However each and every one of them was at the comprehension realm, they both knew that couldn’t win this fight.
Naledi immediately acted, her image appeared behind her and her aura blazed out.
She took her second phase, soul force and summoned her crown of divinity but did not activate it immediately.
Their enemies watched all of this with interest not taking them seriously, Ved also went all out.
He thought about using dragon magic like last time but chose against it, that was too dangerous.
Besides, seeing the confidence of these four, they must not know the two of them possess spirit seed talisman.
Naledi summoned the shield talisman and hid it on her chest, it was a shield necklace and easy to hide.
Ved didn’t bring out the sword talisman and thought that would be a waste but then his enemies attacked.
A massive fireball landed on his back sending him crashing on the ground, the laws of fire burnt his insides.
He gritted his teeth, his image dropped its life origin drops and healed him but the process was too slow.
His image dragon strengthened his physic, he flew back and fought back but his strength was still not enough.
His opponent was playing with him then he turned and saw Naledi and his mouth hanged open.
After activating the crown of divinity and using the shield talisman she was fighting three on one and not losing.
Unfinished the energy inside the talisman was fixed, fortunately unlike the sword talisman it was not a one use item.
As long as the attacks aren’t strong enough to use up the entire energy in the talisman, it could always be used until that energy runs out.
With her image’s sword burning with divine flames she was able to pierce through their law barrier and damage them while they couldn’t even scratch her.
Their attacks were too weak and thus barely used up the energy in the shield, as seconds passed she started gaining an advantage.
Their battle shook the sky, even after they summoned their avatars they couldn’t beat her with the talisman on.
While she wasn’t stronger than them, all of them were below level 3 comprehension, the strongest was the red skinned man with a level comprehension realm cultivation.
The other two were only level 1, Naledi had fought a bastard stronger than them once and almost won.
She couldn’t remember the ability she used to win but she figured with them being unable to harm her, they’ll eventually run.
She hoped it would be soon because although her soul had grown stronger since then, she still can’t use the crown of divinity for long.
Ved’s case was different, he was facing the Arkhalam, although he was also at level 2, he was an Arkhalam.
His race made him stronger than others of the same rank unless they’re also members of a top race.
The Arkhalam didn’t use any fancy abilities, his law was that of fire but he fought in close combat.
The initial fireball had been used by the woman with a crystal on her head, the crystal was red and radiated flame laws.
Ved turned his attention from them back to his fight if you can call it that, in truth it was just him getting his ass kicked.
The Arkhalam was too fast, had it not been for Ved’s wings of Garuda being divine weapons, his body would’ve shattered into a thousand pieces by now.
While the two of them marvelled at the power of those with laws, they couldn’t image the turmoil their opponents were feeling.
They couldn’t understand, clearly these two had not comprehended laws, so why were they so strong.
Especially the girl, while the dragon was nearly unkillable, his attack power was not enough to breach their law barriers.
But the girl’s attacks could damage them, they couldn’t comprehend it but they felt fear that if these two were allowed to grow.
All four of them had the same thought, kill these two or at least one of them, realising they couldn’t kill Naledi they turned towards Ved.
One of them kept Naledi busy while three tried to kill Ved, he grinned. Their attacks landed.
A beam of fire from the woman’s forehead, a bone spear from the red guy and a kick that shook the earth from the Arkhalam.
His body shattered into a blood pool but he had already turned his head into mist using formless shift so the attacks didn’t reach his brain.
Before they could react his body reformed catching them off guard, they had seen his regeneration but this was insane.
" Barrier Negate!" He shouted, he decided to use the magic spell, consequences be damned.
However he could only use the ability on one and he chose the Arkhalam, before either could react he acted.
Black flames blazed high on his wings and the sky turned silver. A beam of silver light hit the Arkhalam on the chest.
Before the red alien could react he was already in front of him, overdrawing the wings of Garuda allowed him to break the light barrier in a single bound thus catching his opponent off guard.
Wings of Garuda slashed out like swords and everybody saw blood flying through the air but he was not done. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
An illusory crown appeared on his head and he roared, his dragon roar spread out covering the landed for hundreds of thousands of kilometres.
Everybody was confused then more roars reverberated across the land, the king had called and the subjects had answered.
