"Mr Chen, the teleportation formation has been adjusted to the third continent HQ and President Shin Lu has been notified of your coming." Maria entered the office and said to Alex after leaving for almost five minutes.

"Good, let’s go." Alex stood up and walked towards. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

Both of them left the office and made their way to the room where the teleportation formation was located. The two elders who had accompanied Maria to look at the Dark Union hideout earlier were already waiting for them in front of the door; they greeted Alex upon seeing him.

Alex only nodded in response before entering the teleportation room. Already familiar with how the formation was used, he went and stood in the center of the formation.

"I’ll activate the formation now," Maria voiced out before slowly pouring mana into the formation and the runes began to light up.

The glow of the formation illuminated the entire room with Alex at the center, his gaze fixed on Maria’s action.

Without warning, the light of the formation intensified and everything around Alex turned white. This wasn’t something new to Alex, after all, he had used the teleportation formation a few times.

The next second, the white light around him began to reduce and his surroundings became clear. In less than five minutes, the formation under his feet completely stopped glowing and Alex could finally see where he was.

"Mr Chen, welcome to the third continent!"

A familiar voice sounded from the side while Alex was observing his current location. He turned his head and his eyes landed on Shin Lu who was standing a few meters away from him, just at the edge of the formation.

"President Shin," Alex mumbled before glancing at his surroundings again.

He seemed to be inside the floor of...a pagoda?

"I didn’t expect Mr Chen to visit the third continent so soon after the last time we met, how about I personally show you around?" President Shin said with a friendly smile as he walked beside Alex, both of them were currently strolling around the pagoda and everyone was giving them odd looks.

They were shocked at their president’s behaviour towards this strange masked person. Why was their arrogant president being so humble to him?

Of course, Shin could not have exposed what happened during the joint operation to his people after coming back, he still had to save face as the third continent’s Union President.

Only those who were present during the joint operation knew the kind of monster Mr Chen was and what had happened between him and their president, so they could understand why President Shin was behaving this way.

Alex, on the other hand, didn’t reply to President Shin’s words and just kept observing the place. After scanning the place with his mage sense, he was now certain.

The Union HQ building of the third continent was a gigantic pagoda that was placed on a mountain peak and stretched very high into the sky. Alex was sure that he would enter the clouds if he jumped from the roof of this pagoda with full force, of course that might end up destroying the building.

Aside from the pagoda, he had noticed several other pavilions scattered around the mountain top. Each of these pavilions were flooded with mages who were not weaker than the Master mage rank.

This place was just like the Union HQ of the first continent! In terms of strength, that is. The setting was entirely different.

At this point, Alex noticed that President Shin was still talking to him. He stopped walking and glanced at the other party.

President Shin’s body stiffened and he stopped talking for a moment when he noticed Mr Chen was looking at him.

"Mr Chen, is there a problem?" he asked softly, barely managing to stop himself from stuttering.

"I have something important to ask," Alex replied.

"Please ask away, I’ll answer to the best of my abilities." President Shin responded seriously.

Instead of asking his question, Alex glanced around before looking back at President Shin. The man instantly understood and told Alex to follow him.

They moved to another room on the same floor of the pagoda, two pillows and a small table were placed in the middle of the room.

President Shin went and sat on one of the pillows before offering the second one to Alex.

"What did you want to ask?" He inquired while watching Alex sit down.

"I’m looking for a Void eye and was told I will be able to find one here, this is the reason I have come to the third continent." Alex stated in a serious tone.

A look of surprise appeared on President Shin’s face for a moment before turning serious.

"A Void eye, it can indeed be found here more easily compared to the other continents but even then, it’s still very rare.

Also, the Void eye has a special characteristic that makes it difficult to acquire." President Shin said.

"Go on," Alex urged him to keep speaking.

"The Void eye is a special item acquired from a crack. To get it, one has to invade a crack and get it before the crack closes; that is after they kill the demon within the crack.

Or, they can search for it for as long as they want while keeping the demon alive, this is more difficult but also gives you more time since the Void eye of a crack isn’t so easy to find even if you enter a crack. Not all cracks have them." President Shin paused and observed Mr Chen, he clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction because he could not tell if Mr Chen was interested in what he was saying.

He still continued speaking regardless.

"And since the Void eye is able to tell when and where a crack would appear, a lot of people are looking for it and are willing to pay a huge price just to get one. But that’s not all, the Void eye would instantly disappear after being used once." President Shin finally ended his explanation.

"I see, so where can I find one?" Alex voiced out almost instantly.

President Shin "..."

Did I say all of that for nothing? Although displeased, he didn’t say it and still answered Mr Chen’s question.

"There are a few across the third continent but within this country, only the ancestor of the Hong family, Saint Red sword, possesses one. Thanks to them, we were able to prepare for the appearance of cracks but their condition is that they will claim the Void eye gotten from the crack as a replacement for the one they used." President Shin informed.

Alex remained silent for a bit after learning about the Hong family and how they monopolized the Void eye every time.

"Let’s go see this Red sword person of the Hong family," Alex voiced out after a brief moment of silence.

"Okay, we’ll head out once it’s morning." President Shin stated and was about to ask if he should prepare a room for Mr Chen when Alex cut him off.

"In the morning? Let’s go now,"

President Shin "..."

"But it’s already so late, Saint Red sword might not agree to see us if we suddenly arrive in the middle of the night." he said worriedly.

"Don’t worry, I’ll make him see us." Alex replied confidently.

President Shin suddenly felt cold. Could it be that Mr Chen was planning to beat the ancestor of the Hong family in his own residence?
