Left with no room to refute Mr Chen, President Shin took out his phone and contacted someone.

"Meet me outside in 2 minutes," he said to the person on the other end of the call before disconnecting.

His gaze returned to Mr Chen after ending the call.

"Let’s go, Mr Chen. Our ride is waiting for us." He said while standing up.

Alex silently stood up as well, wondering what type of ride was waiting for them outside. After all, their current location was at the top of a mountain and it wasn’t very suitable terrain for driving.

He followed behind President Shin who instead of descending the floors of the pagoda, walked to the outer structure. From here, Alex could see the night sky and the surroundings outside the pagoda.

Yep, they were very far from the ground. The pagoda was just that tall.

’It can’t be what I’m thinking, right?’ Alex thought to himself as he stared at the distant ground before glancing at President Shin who was standing beside him...a few moments ago.

This was because President Shin had suddenly jumped off the pagoda and was currently free-falling to the ground.

"What an extreme way to go downstairs," Alex mumbled to himself and silently activated Void Walk. His view changed to a bird-like view and he picked the spot for the second Void gate right away before his view returned to normal.

Everything had taken only a split second and President Shin was still free-falling. Alex only stared at him one last time before silently stepping into the white space of his skill and appearing on the ground the next second.

While waiting for President Shin to arrive, he decided to take a close-up look at the pagoda. He was currently at the back of the pagoda, so there was no one here except for the presence of a single person, whom he could sense at some distance in front of them.

The pagoda looked just like the ones from when he was still on Earth, just several times bigger. The bottom floor of the pagoda was so huge that Alex was certain it was the same size as a small stadium. Aside from that, the design and everything else were the same as the ones he had seen before.

’Could it be that people from Earth had come here before?’ Alex wondered, there were just too many similarities between this world and Earth.

At this moment, President Shin’s figure finally landed on the ground.

Boom!!

His landing caused quite a ruckus as the impact made a small crater on the ground. Tiny chunks of earth were sent flying into the air and some even flew towards Alex but he used his mana to block them.

President Shin calmly walked out of the centre of the crater and looked up, he hadn’t noticed Alex waiting for him on the ground.

"Waiting for someone else?" Alex asked from the side.

The sudden voice obviously startled President Shin because of how his whole body trembled but he forced himself to remain calm and slowly turned to face Mr Chen.

’When did he get here?!’ He screamed inwardly while his face showed an embarrassed smile.

"No, let’s go." He said before leading the way.

Alex silently followed behind him. They headed in the direction where Alex had sensed someone earlier.

After a few seconds of walking along the back of the mountain, they reached a cliff where someone was waiting.

A figure in a long red robe with golden patterns along the sleeves stood silently under the night sky and stared into the distance. Upon sensing President Shin and Alex approaching, the figure turned around to face them. It turned out it was a young woman with clear white skin and pretty blue eyes. Her long white hair matched the moonlight which made her even more charming like a night goddess.

’What a beauty,’ Alex thought to himself before checking the strength of this fair beauty. He discovered she was at the Sage mage rank and thought it wasn’t too bad.

"President Shin!" The expression on the lady’s face lit up after seeing President Shin and she cutely rushed over to meet them.

"Where do you want me to take you?" She asked happily, her eyes gleaming with an obvious glint as she looked at President Shin.

Alex "..."

’Yeah, he got this.’ Alex thought silently.

"Behave yourself, we have a guest here!" President Shin squeezed the words out, trying to sound as gentle as possible and strict at the same time.

He couldn’t allow her to behave like this in front of Mr Chen, it might leave a bad impression!

The lady was stunned by President Shin’s words, her eyes clearing showing that she had been wronged. She glanced at Mr Chen and gave him a hard glare that made Alex blink with confusion.

’What? I didn’t ask him to scold you!’ Alex protested inwardly.

"Ahem, Mr Chen, sorry about that. This is Feng Lishu, my student." President Shin said to Alex before looking at the girl whose name turned out to be Lishu and introduced Alex to her.

"This is Mr Chen, a friend I made during the joint operation."

"Mr Chen? Which Chen family is that? And why are you friends with a Core rank mage?" Lishu asked suspiciously.

"Don’t be silly, he isn’t a Core rank mage. Mr Chen is actually a Saint and a powerful one at that, he took out several calamity rank magic beasts by himself during the joint operation. Also, he’s from the 6th continent." President Shin informed.

Lishu "..."

What? Is this person so strong? Why was he hiding his rank then? That’s too dangerous, someone weaker might offend him without knowing it’s a trap!

"Ahem, that’s enough introduction. We want to go to the Hong family territory, that’s why I called you here." President Shin stated.

"The Hong family? But it’s so late, those arrogant people won’t let us in." Lishu argued.

"Don’t worry about that, you just have to take us there." President Shin said.

"Hmm, okay." Lishu didn’t argue anymore and her eyes instantly turned white.

The next second, stars began to appear around her rapidly. These stars were as white as the moon itself.

The summoning element!

Almost a minute later, Lishu had formed twenty star constellations and joined them into a single gigantic white star nebula.

The brightness from the star nebula lit up the surroundings, making it look like it was daytime. Mana gushed around the place as Lishu’s aura rose to its peak.

The next moment, a strong gust of wind exploded from inside the star nebula and an enormous magic beast flew out of it and soared into the sky.

Its large wings, which spread for hundreds of meters blocked the sky as it rotated in the sky before descending.

Alex’s eyes flashed behind his mask. He recognised this beast, it was a Windrend just like Alicia!

The only difference was that Alicia was a black Windrend while this one was white, both of them were at the Divine beast rank.

Bang!

The white Windrend landed on the ground in front of the three, its huge talons sinking into the hard mountain and causing rock particles to fly around.

"Hello there!" A playful male voice echoed through the air after the huge bird landed.
