[BL] Challenge: 100 Baby in Fantasy World
Chapter 331: The Third Delivery
Tristan, who knew Gara was pregnant, immediately panicked. He feared something had happened to the baby.
Gara could feel it too. Something was happening to his pregnancy.
But it wasn’t something bad.
He was nearly ten months along. It was time.
"Uncle Tristan, please prepare an isolated room. It’s time," he said, clutching Tristan’s clothes.
Tristan did not ask further questions. He had a feeling as well. He immediately turned and hurried outside.
"What’s going on?" Ramun, the only one who knew nothing, asked in confusion.
Tristan looked at Gara. It was not his place to decide whether to reveal this secret.
"Come with us," Gara murmured, struggling to endure the pain.
Then he glanced at Tristan. "Here."
Tristan nodded and quickly stepped out.
Ramun grew even more confused. Gara told him to come along, yet told Tristan "here."
From outside, Ramun heard Tristan issuing firm orders to the knights to guard the room and allow no one inside.
A moment later, Tristan returned.
Before Ramun could ask anything, the environment around him suddenly changed.
He was no longer inside a room. He stood before a massive white building that resembled a palace.
Cold air brushed against him, snapping him out of his shock. The ground was covered in white sand, or something like it.
Tristan quickly helped Gara into the large white building. With no answers to demand and no explanations offered, Ramun could only follow behind.
"Lady Wina, Gara is about to give birth!" Tristan shouted.
Two women emerged from one of the rooms. Ramun recognized one of them as the woman who had raised Gara.
Wina, Della, and Tristan immediately helped Gara up to the second floor. No one paid attention to the presence of an outsider.
Upstairs, Ramun was greeted by three toddlers who rushed toward Gara.
"Dadda! Dadda!" they called in unison, like eager little hatchlings.
As a father, Ramun estimated they were over a year old. But they were not ordinary children.
Red eyes. Small horns.
A dead giveaway. They were devil children.
Why were devil children here with Gara? And who were they calling "dadda"? Tristan?
That thought was quickly dismissed when Tristan approached them, or more accurately, stopped them.
"Wait here, alright? Your daddy is sick," Tristan said gently.
The three toddlers’ eyes welled with tears. Their lips trembled as if about to cry.
"Huaa~ Huaa~"
The piercing cry that followed did not come from the toddlers, but from a baby sitting up in a crib.
Ramun turned toward the sound.
"Does Gara have a younger sibling?" he muttered unconsciously.
But he immediately shook his head. Gara’s parents had died eighteen years ago. It was impossible.
The baby simply looked too much like Gara. Too much like the Eshaan family.
Without realizing it, Ramun walked over and picked up the baby girl the same way he used to carry his own daughter.
"Shh... shh..." He gently patted Baby Bel’s back.
It had been a very long time since Ramun had held a baby. As a Commander, he had always felt he needed to maintain a strict demeanor, even with Tasha, his only daughter.
Looking at the hazel-eyed baby in his arms, he felt a longing he had buried for years.
Footsteps sounded from the stairs. Ares appeared, slightly out of breath. He quickly helped Tristan calm the triplets.
Ramun noticed the unfamiliar young man. Their eyes met. Ares looked startled.
"He’s Commander Ramun, Gara’s uncle. Gara allowed him in," Tristan explained quickly. Ares’ existence was still meant to be a secret.
Holding Ava, Ares gave a small nod. "Ares. A worker in this house."
Ramun nodded in return, though Ares’ face felt strangely familiar, as if he had seen him somewhere before.
...
Inside the room, Wina and Della watched Gara anxiously as he endured the pain in silence.
Wina had prepared a knife, scissors, wood clamps, basins of water, and stacks of clean cloth for the surgery.
Della had prepared clean blankets and enough water to wash the newborn.
But they waited. Gara was still confirming whether the pain and contractions truly meant it was time.
A few minutes later, he finally nodded. Della handed him a pain-relief pill.
Once the pain subsided, Wina began the incision across Gara’s abdomen, smooth despite having been opened twice before for previous births.
After skin and flesh were parted, the protective layer of his womb became visible. A long scar ran clearly across it. Gara’s water ability could not erase that scar.
Wina and Della moved with practiced precision. Not long after, the first baby was delivered.
"A girl. Complete and healthy," Wina announced.
Della immediately took the tiny infant.
Wina remained focused. She and Gara both knew there was a possibility of twins, or even more.
Soon, she delivered another baby. "A boy. Complete and healthy."
Afterward, Wina carefully cleaned Gara’s womb.
"Twins, Gara," she said, a small smile curving her wrinkled face.
Gara exhaled in relief. Sweat soaked his hair. Thankfully, his third delivery was over.
Once his abdomen was closed and the twins were asleep in their respective cribs, those waiting outside were allowed in.
The others had managed to get the triplets and baby Bel to sleep. No more cries echoed through the room.
Everyone’s gaze fell upon the two cribs. One baby was completely bald. The other had a faint dusting of dark brown hair.
Ramun was utterly speechless. He approached Gara alongside Tristan and Ares, his thoughts scattered.
Meanwhile, Gara was trying to contact someone through his crystal ring.
"Who are you trying to reach?" Ares asked.
"Madha," Gara replied.
Only silence answered him. No connection.
Tristan had already told Ares about Madha earlier. He could guess how devastated Gara must be. Madha had always been the one who could light up his world.
Ares quietly stepped out of the room and activated his own crystal ring.
"Fian, Gara has given birth."
"Given birth?" Fian looked stunned. "I’ll head to Duke Eshaan’s mansion in the capital immediately."
"Don’t go there!" Ares said quickly. "Gara is in Cakranloka City. You need to come there if you want to enter."
"Understood," Fian replied.
