CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror
Chapter 347: Solar Coin
Erin transformed into a cat and ran around the Moon Palace.
Telara watched her with deep interest. "So... That is the famous Ethereal Fae. I can’t believe you give her that power." 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Mater shrugged, "Why not? I like her so I’ll give her that."
"You never think about the consequences, do you?" Telara said.
"On the contrary, my queen. I always think about the consequences."
His servants continued to train the humans in the way of combat.
Mater also had his own little training for his people, Selina and the servants.
Selina was reaching level 10 pretty soon and she would have a chance to reach Hazard level Psychic. Mater believed in her and he thought that there would be no need for outside assistance.
Leslie still haven’t cracked the GOD Suspension in the real world yet. Its effect was too deathly for Rank-1 Psychic to use. But maybe it would be perfect for a Rank-2 to use to reach Rank-3.
’Those Psychics at the Atlas Seven are a joke. Selina is approaching her Rank-2 and they are still stuck in Rank-1 for years. They aren’t a threat anymore.’
The threat, however, was now coming from other interdimensional forces. The Everlasting Wilds. The Layers of Hell.
Mater knew that the Hell of Brine was playing in an invasion into this world. He didn’t know if they were the Void that the people of this world called, or if it was related to someone else.
He would find out soon.
Crow was training the group of melee infantrymen. Telara provided them with weapons and armor.
These Psychics learned how to use their Chaos to enhance their body, their weapons, and their attacks with the Psycho Force. It branched out a new style of Psychic that was rather rare in the real world. Crow basically taught them the principle of the Psycho-Blade tactics.
Aurora was in charge of training those that were more suitable to be long range mages. He taught them Psycho-Cast that she herself learned from the Institute. However, this Psycho-Cast didn’t use a Psycho Stream Integrator. Instead, they used a magical tattoo that Mater designed.
It was forged based on Selina’s GAIM, Mater’s Chaos Pact, and his vary other knowledge.
The new Integrator Matrix was an Octagram with an Ankh in the middle. A perfect fusion of Selina and Mater.
Bash and Solarix also trained a platoon. Bash was not that great in communicating so he needed help from Solarix, exactly like how it was played out in the Phantom Dream. This branch didn’t focus on Psycho-Slave, the remaining branch of a Psychic, but instead they focused on cultivating their body and achieved a savage powerhouse like Bash.
The Octagram Ankh gained a lot of popularity within the Psychics. Soon, not only Aurora’s troop was having it, but all Psychics had it. It helped with all of their Psionic Casting.
The Octagram Ankh became the new symbol for this army.
Tony and the Craftsmen became familiar with this world. The Wilds operated completely different from the real world. The tree talked. The rock talked. Even objects could come to life. They had their own inspiration and discovery.
The craftsmen invented many suprising weapons and armors with the new conditions they had.
They slowly forgot of their old life as well. Telara was playing a spell on them. Mater didn’t prevent her. It was better that way.
They didn’t forget entirely, they just found it much easier to become a resident of the Everlasting Wilds.
And then, there was Tanya.
Mater led her in front of Telara and told her about his demands.
"You asked me for 200 men and women. You took 500. You owed me." Mater said.
Telara rubbed her temple. "What do you want?"
"There is a ritual in the Wilds that separate the animal from the Fae, right? I want you to do it for her and separate her demon side and human side."
"Are you sure?" Telara turned toward Tanya. "If you do this, you will no longer be you. It wouldn’t just be a minor change, your entire being would change."
"I..." Tanya didn’t know what to choose.
Crow stepped forward, "Will there be danger?"
Telara nodded, "Of course, there is. Unless you want to do it differently."
"What are you talking about?" Mater said.
"Instead of separating, you can fuse them into one. There will be a conflict inside her mind. But the end will only result in her or her demon take control. There will be no danger like a separation."
Mater tapped his feet. He then turned toward Tanya.
His Octagram Eyes shone brightly and he penetrated into her Psycho Force. Inside, Kaera was sitting there.
She had already heard everything.
"What are you going to choose, anarch?" Kaera said.
"Saving me means to endanger her. Getting rid of me means you betray our promise."
The dark-haired man stayed silent.
Tanya appeared beside Kaera, she found her way into her mind as well.
"Let’s do a separation." She said.
"Oh? Aren’t you afraid to die?" Kaera said.
"Maybe." Tanya answered, "But you are me, Kaera. I don’t want either of us to die."
"So innocent." Kaera sighed.
Mater got out of her mind and turned back to Telara. "There must be a way."
Telara smiled, "Of course, there is. The Sun Court has a thing called Solar Coin. This thing combines with my Lunar Coin can guarantee a perfect separation with no danger."
Mater smirked, "You already know about it from the start. You just want us to attack the Sun Court."
Telara shrugged, "Guity at charge. They are attacking the Eastern border of the Moon Domain. We have to give them a surprise back."
"Consider it’s done. But you still owe me." Mater said.
Telara rolled her eyes, "Fine."
And with that, Mater returned to train his army. The servants worked twice as hard now that they knew it was for Tanya and Crow.
Erin began to learn how to play the harp. A traditional instrument of the Fae. She was very well-tuned with it and Mater could feel that a new power was awakening within her.
’Erin still has a lot of learn.’
She, Evelynn, and Sparrow formed a little band within the army. They performed frequently, both to help with the morale, and to develop Evelynn’s power.
