Chapter 348: Chapter 348: Lock of Status Affliction

Five years in this Everlasting Wilds and Tony never stopped meeting wonders that he couldn’t imagine. He saw many things new and many things he couldn’t explain.

His armor just came to life and spoke with him the other day. It became sentient because he birthed it, not just made it.

Creation was a thing of beauty in this realm and those with consciousness was regarded as higher being in this world.

That was also true for armor and weapons. Tony had become a famous craftsman in the Moon Court. His items rivaled even the oldest Fae craftsmen in the Moon Court.

His skill grew exponentially. He never would have had this kind of growth in the real world.

Not just him, every other human as well. They found their purposes and they found their callings.

That day, Tony attended the war ceremony under Lord Warlock Mater and his Dark Lady Selina. They were going to war.

The dark-haired man and his queen stood on the podium.

"Today! We go to war!"

"Yeah!" The crowd roared.

This was what they’ve been training for and this was what they craved. A purpose.

The Psychic army marched for the Sun Court.

Queen Cristina of the Sun Court was informed by her scout of the arrival of the new army.

"The Blood Warlock has returned? I thought he died in a battle many years ago? No matter. His power alone couldn’t change anything."

The Blood Warlock walked alone. Everyone knew that. So even if he had an army, Cristina didn’t think highly of it.

The two armies met at the border. And Cristina was surprised by how ferocious this army was.

They fought without fear and without hesitation. The Psychic army wasn’t afraid of death because they were just visitors.

"Is that a bird?!"

"The Sun Court is bird Fae. Hell yeah! Let’s show them how we fight."

The Psychic trained for five years. They were hungry for blood. They had completely changed from reserved modern citizens into blood lust warriors and mages.

Their first wave included the tanks led by Bash. The Infernal Demon created ruthless warriors that was no different than him.

The second wave was more skillful and split into groups of specialists that danced around the battlefield to assist the Tanks. These were the high damage Fighters led by Crow.

At the back rank was Aurora with her long-range casting Psychics.

"Hold! Make your aim carefully! Fire at will!" Aurora shouted.

The Psychics released colorful Psionics into the Sun Court army. In this realm, their power felt alive and they awakened all sorts of power based on their own nature and instinct.

There were Elemental Psionics that acted very similar to traditional spell casting.

There were Kinetic Psionics that focused purely on destruction.

There were even Healing Psionics that acted as combat medics.

The Fae didn’t meet this kind of well-organized army before. The Sun Court was pushed back within days and their border shrank.

Cristina slammed her throne and stood up, "How can this happen? The Blood Warlock shouldn’t be able to raise this kind of army."

"Their soldiers used very unique power, Your Majesty. We don’t know what they are. We’ve never seen them before."

"A new realm? Tch. The Blood Warlock didn’t die. He found a new realm to govern over! We need help!"

"What should we do, Your Majesty?"

"Announce his return. His enemy would come and assist us."

Cristina’s move was the right call. Because Mater had created many enemies in the past. Enemies that would crush him as a Rank-2.

But he was a Rank-4 at the moment. The only problem was he only had the power of a Rank-4 and not the abilities of one.

With the victory at the border, Mater easily found the perfect Major Chaos Singularity that could help him advance to the final level of the Lock of Biomechanism.

After the battle, Mater opened a ceremonial celebration. In this ceremony, he also created the last key of the Bio-Lock. The Key of Sleep.

The Key of Hunger allowed him to ignore food crave.

The Key of Thirst allowed him to ignore water crave.

And now the Key of Sleep allowed him to ignore the need of sleep.

In the ceremony, all the soldiers were invited. The Fae served them like the highest level of noble. They liked it. They found glory through lost and war.

Some died. But they didn’t care. Because they would meet each other again after 30 years.

At the moment, they were there to witness the ascension of their lord.

"It’s time, Master." Aurora said.

The dark-haired man stood up and looked over to the people that worshipped him.

’That bastard had a point. Having people aiding you is a good feeling.’

Mater spread hid arms, "Men and women of the Dark Court!

You gathered here to day to celebrate the victory that you have earned with blood and sweat. As your lord, I am honored and blessed.

I know this is only temporary and after 34 years, our lives here will end. But let me say this.

I will never forget you! I will always feel honored for having you fighting by my side!"

"Lord Warlock! Lord Warlock! Lord Warlock!" They chanted.

"I saw your growth. I saw how many of you have approaching level that you’ve never imagined before. And now, allow me to show you my own."

Three dense Chaos Singularity flew around him. The Bio-Lock appeared in the sky with two keys in it.

The mass power of Chaos circled around the podium. A thick mist of Chaos enveloped the area.

Telara watched everything from her palace. Her eyes reached hundred of miles into the land.

"Heh. No wonder why I had that weird feeling. You haven’t earned your Rank-4 title back.

Yet... Why do I fell that your power is even greater than before?"

The third key appeared in the sky. The dark key of sleep and dream. It slotted into the Bio-Lock and made it whole.

Mater was now a Peak Rank-2. His level was now 40.

But he didn’t end there. He had accumulated a lot of Chaos Spheres and Chaos Singularities throughout the years. Enough to make him jump an entire rank.

The Bio-Lock disappeared and in its place was a formation of a new lock.

The Lock of Status Affliction.
