CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror
Chapter 351: Lightstorm
Naseem’s advisor frowned, "Since when does the Moon Court side with the demons?"
Solarix landed on Bash’s shoulder, "Since when does the Sun Court side with the abominations?"
Telara got help from outsiders. So did Cristina when she decided to cooperate with Mater’s enemies.
"Tch!" The advisor pulled back. Naseem was beyond saving. The advisor was not stupid enough to sacrifice even more soldiers to this already losing battle. "Retreat!"
The advisor shouted. He ran straight into deeper territory of the Sun Court. Some of the soldiers in the surrounding were hesitant before joining him.
"Traitor!" Naseem shouted. His entire body was soaked in blood as he and his men struggled to keep the Psychic Army at bat.
The black cat floated above the chaos.
"He did the sensible thing and saved as many soldiers as he could. He is even smarter than you, commander." The black cat’s deep voice echoed.
"Feline Fae?" Naseem jumped up into the sky. His blue wings expanded.
Naseem was an Avery Fae, a bird Fae to be exact. He was a swallow.
The Fae flew up into the sky and transformed. He became a large blue bird. His golden armor conformed around his new body and acted like a second skin.
"You must be the commander of this army, huh? I’ll kill you and this battle will be mine." Naseem shouted.
Silvery energy wrapped around him as he bolted at Mater like a living missile.
The giant blue swallow slammed on the pink barrier and was forced to bounce back uncontrollably.
"A commander? You’re even stupider than I thought. I am the Blood Warlock."
"The Blood Warlock isn’t a cat!"
"I am now!"
The cat opened its mouth. A Nether Beam shot out and clipped one of the wings of Naseem. He managed to dodge it just in time but still had some of his feathers blown off.
"Nether! You really are the Blood Warlock!" Naseem said.
"Try my new trick! Tidal Vortex!"
Chaos flooded outside of the black cat as it raised its right paw. Tidal power emerged on soft paw.
Beneath the ground, a blue rotating circle appeared. It kept spinning and spinning and spinning. The vortex gained enough momentum and began to release the power of the wind and water.
A giant gray tornado spun on top of the Sun Court Army, pulling them into the endless cycle. Water rained down endlessly and tainted their power. Lightning struck inside the vortex and burned the Fey into dust.
Naseem tasted the salt in his mouth.
"My army wouldn’t just be killed like that." Naseem grinned widely.
"Oh, yeah? Then how about another spell. Terrestrial Invasion!"
Chaos flooded out of the black cat. Roots sprouted from the ground and pierced into the Sun Fae mercilessly.
Naseem took a deep breath, "As expected of the Blood Warlock. You’re very powerful. But us Fae had our own tricks as well."
Naseem spread his wing. Pink fey scent released out of him.
At the same time, the Fae Soldiers below used Fey Shift to get out of the Terrestrial Invasion and Tidal Vortex.
"Oh no, you don’t!" Aurora shouted. "Whitestorm!"
A blizzard washed over the entire battlefield. Tiny snowflakes danced around in the air.
"Oh shit! Snow Commander is going to use her ultimate!" One Psychic shouted.
They scattered away from the radius of the snowstorm.
"Lightstorm!" Aurora shouted. From within those snowflakes, colorful beams of Northern Lights shot out and pierced through the Fae.
Some of the Fae got their limbs cut off. Some died immediately as the Northern Light pierced through their skull. Blood covered the ground.
The Fey stood in formation. The Fey Scent leaked out from them and they called upon the force of nature to assist them.
A spirit of the wind was called forth. This wasn’t a true conscious being but was only a projection being made by the power of the Fey.
The wind spirit clashed with Aurora’s blizzard. One was gray and the other was white.
The Fey Army managed to stand firm for a while. But it was obvious that they couldn’t hold on for long. The power of the four spells were just too much for them to handle. Each of the spell was a large scale effect as well.
On top of the army, the Fey Scent brushed over Mater.
The black cat trembled and sneezed.
"Come on, now. Don’t make me horny with that pink dust." Mater said sarcastically. Fey Scent had an aphrodisiac effect. It was a well-known fact.
But it did have other type of power.
"You despicable warlock! Sun Ray!"
The Fey Scent was an aspect of Truth in the Everlasting Wilds. It wasn’t the pure Truth. But it was the Truth that the Fae was familiar with.
The pink dust changed color and formed a large disk behind Naseem. As he shouted, a large yellow ray bolted at the black cat. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
"Please. Your Truth could never beat my Chaos."
Mater didn’t even use Nether Beam. Instead, he activated Demonic Transformation Beam and transformed into the large jaguar.
Clear Death Ice formed around him as Mater used the spell Death Plates.
Then he stacked all the spells on top of one another. Carrying Wind for Speed. Omnimotion to reduce his weight. And then added on Bash’s Charge through the Submission Pact.
The black jaguar curled into a ball of black spikes and clear ice. It shot straight into the Avery Fae’s Sun Ray.
The ball stopped the Ray and continued pushing it backwards.
"No!" Naseem channeled all of his power. "You can never win!"
But as he shouted, the spike ball got closer and closer. It slammed onto the Naseem.
Omnimotion made Mater heavy right at the point of contact. He crushed Naseem into a pile of unrecognizable pile of flesh and destroyed the large yellow ring behind.
The battle beneath had also come to an end as Aurora destroyed the wind spirit with her Lightstorm. Her power was unimaginable for a Rank-2 right now.
The rest of the Fey was quickly finished by the Psychic Army.
Once again, the self-proclaimed Dark Court had won. Even Telara was surprised at how powerful and ruthless this army was.
These ’Psychics’ were different from the other Chaos User she met. Their power seemed to be directly connected with their emotions. And in the age of war, the Psychic had all the emotions they required to become stronger. The NES was naturally produced every single day.
