Chapter 366: Chapter 366: Lalo Lives

Batista rushed at a soldier and punched her. There was an illusion of a phoenix behind him.

"What the... A Fate User..." The soldier braced himself for impact and raised his arms.

He was sent half a mile away just be that single punch.

"Are you alright, Darren?!" The other soldier communicated with him via their digital communications.

"Not death yet. But will be soon." The soldier rebalanced himself.

Batista rushed at that one soldier again. The phoenix behind him flapped its wings.

"Hah... I failed you, General."

Batista’s large fist came at his face. Suddenly, a thick layer of ice appeared and stopped Batista.

"Thank you, General." Darren quickly got out of there. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

Batista looked up to see the Northern Lights filled the sky in broad daylights. Aurora stood on the strand of light and looked down to him.

"Hazard?" Batista smiled. For him, if you weren’t Disaster, you weren’t even qualified for respect from him.

"If you’d be a good girl and lie down, maybe I will let you leave." Batista licked his lips.

The white-haired girl with her glowing circuitry blue lines was very alluring. A man could be called lucky if he had her beside him on the bed.

Aurora’s expression remained cold. "Ignorant mortal. You’ll be dead very soon."

"Dead? Who’s going to kill me? You? Don’t kid yourself. You’re just a Hazard Psychic." Batista laughed.

"Oh... I’m much more than that."

Aurora raised her right hand above her head, "Tidal Vortex."

Aurora had acquired this Pact Spell from Mater when she advanced to higher level. It complimented well with her own power and caused a great additional effect.

The cloud began to circle quickly and formed a giant vortex leading from the ground to the sky.

"True form..." The white-haired girl disappeared and in her place was a skeleton of an elk.

A huge snowstorm took over the entire area.

"What is even going on?!" The people on the streets noticed the phenomenon.

The Union had warned its citizens to go into shelter because of a potential terrorist attack. People were evacuating.

Batista rushed at Aurora. His fist landed on the hard surface of Death Ice. It started to turn grey but his power pushed out the dying cold.

He frowned. He had never seen this type of power before. Batista circled around Aurora and attacked her from behind.

Even more Death Ice appeared to protect Aurora. These flimsy looking clear ice was unexpectedly durable. And it corrupted Batista with a unique energy he had never seen before.

"How about this?" Batista opened his mouth and breathed out fire. The phoenix behind him was clearer than ever.

The fire enveloped the ice but couldn’t melt it.

"Lightstorm..." Aurora simply said.

Beams of Northern Lights shot out from the ice and pushed Batista away. Fate protected his skin, if not, he would have been pierced into a sponge.

"What?! How can a Hazard hurt me?"

Then, all the dancing snowflakes in the air aimed themselves at him. Batista felt shivers down his spine. Death was caressing his back.

The snowflakes shot out countless Light Beams that covered Batista entirely.

"Damn! Ice General is as ruthless as away."

The remaining of the soldier stayed on the sky cheering for Aurora like an actual fan club.

The female body guard rolled on the ground. Lalo hit his head and woke up because of the pain.

"You?! You stupid body guard! My father hired you not because of this!"

He stood up and kicked the guard in the stomach. That was when he noticed that she didn’t respond. There were thousands of cuts on her.

"You..." Lalo widened his eyes.

He looked around. He wasn’t even in Aeliz City no more. It was some unfamiliar countryside with a green grass field and no skyscraper in place.

The soldiers landed around him.

"Hurt your own protector. At first we were a bit doubtful about this mission." A soldier said.

"This asshole needs to die." Another said.

"What he said." Another pointed at the second soldier.

They began to surrounded him.

"You!" Lalo cried. "My father will kill all of you."

"Your father won’t even be alive after this."

The soldier took out his Psycho-Blade. A Psycho red blade appeared as he struck Lalo down.

The head of Lalo rolled on the floor. However, he didn’t die. Instead, tentacles spread out from the head and it stood up.

"What the?!"

The soldiers rushed away without even looking. Whatever that was, they would not be there to find out.

They had learned that lesson the hard way in the Everlasting Wilds. Many soldiers died because of mysterious attacks from the Sun Court. So in this real world, where they only had one life, the soldiers were extra careful than before.

Lalo’s head exuded out a dark cloud and enveloped the area. Then when it dissipated, the young man had been resurrected.

However, this time, he was a little different. His hair stood up like nails and his eyes were blood red. There was a third golden eye in the middle of his forehead.

"Who dares attack my vessel?" Lalo spoke in an unfamiliar tone.

"This is..." A soldier mumbled.

"A third rank Awaken." Another said.

"Let me take it from here, boys." Crow stepped forward.

He was in his human form and his face represented him when he was alive.

The three-eyed Lalo looked at Crow.

"I remember you. You that poor bastard that Lalo killed." the three-eyed Lalo said.

Crow didn’t answer. Instead, he gestured for his men to leave.

"Possession? Soul-swapping? What even are you?" Crow said.

"Oh? So you aren’t a lowlife of a minor world." Three-eyed Lalo was actually impressed. "What even happened to you? You look like you become an Abomination. But you’re different some how. You also have that foul stench of those Chaos User."

"Ah..." Lalo chuckled. "You’re a Warlock Servant. How cute. I thought I killed them all."

"You killed all Warlock Servants?"

Lalo smirked. "No. I killed all Warlocks in my world."

Lalo’s fingers twitched. A golden sword appeared in his hand.

"They’re despicable thieves that knew nothing than took the power of others. This universe does not need the kind of them."
