Cosmic Patron System: 100X Return on Every Reward
Chapter 69 - 0 | Uproar
Destroyer Guild’s Office, Mumbai (Number 1 Guild of Mumbai)
Knock! Knock!
"Come in," the man sitting in a comfy chair spoke, his eyes were on the screen in front of him, the room was slightly cooler as small icicles floated around him.
A young woman in late thirties, wearing a top with grey pants and a tablet in one hand opened the door, "Guildmaster, there’s a..." before the woman could complete, the man interrupted.
"I know...I am watching it too." He spoke.
She closed the door and stood beside him.
"What do we know about him?" He asked.
"Nothing...in fact I checked, his channel is just three days old and his core rank is only..."
"Yeah, C-rank. That’s why I am watching him too. He overpowered a S-rank, even though he was a newbie, easily." The man interrupted again.
"I opened the stream midway but there are no signs of an actual fight and he didn’t touch any one of them afterwards."
"Yeah, boys outside are calling that his talent is related to telekinesis," the woman added.
"What’s your opinion about him, Guildmaster?" she asked.
"Dangerous," he replied, "What’s the response of Hunter’s Council on this?"
She showed him the tablet instead of responding. He glanced at the tablet, taking his eyes off the screen for a moment.
His brows raised as he read the notice.
"A Blackout notice? Is Aryan mad or something? This is gonna cause an uproar, city wide or maybe beyond," his voice raised a little.
He shook his head in disbelief before focusing back on the screen though his mind raced at the notice he just read and possibility that someone could force an Executive Hunter of the Council.
’Is he connected to the group I kept hearing whispers about but never even get a whiff of them?’ he wondered.
’But this is too open but again I don’t have any concrete information about them.’
"Sheila, mark him as person of interest and also send a message to all guild members, to not antagonize StarWalker if they ever come face to face with him." He ordered.
"Yes, Guildmaster," she nodded and left the room, typing something on her tablet while the Guildmaster, Pranjan Gupta, focused back to the stream as Reyansh started another round of questions.
’What’s your goal, StarWalker?’ he wondered.

Trishul Sentinel Order Guild Headquarter, Main Office, Delhi (No. 4 Guild in India)
Anaya Rajshri, a woman in her early thirties was working on the files piled up in front of her, checking deployment and division of tasks. A logo of silver colored Trishul (Trident) shined behind her on the wall.
A knock on the door followed by opening of the door, attracted her attendance.
"Sanya, you have to wait after the knock, go away I am busy," she spoke, keeping her eyes on the file.
"This is important mother, our branch office in Mumbai sent a channel’s name with a note to watch it immediately." Her daughter, Sanya, replied.
"I opened and some guy in a mask is torturing a guildmaster of local guild in Mumbai, check it out" she added handling over the message from branch office.
Keeping the files down, she checked the details in the note then opened her system panel and started StarWalker’s stream.
"Whoa! What is the Hunter’s Council of Mumbai doing?" first words came out of her mouth as he back straightened.
She looked at the horrific scene, a headless body pinned to the wall, pool of blood below along with an unconscious limbless boy and one handed man struggling on the other side.
"There’s no response from them yet, I have ordered our branch to look into the matter." Sanya answered as they watched Reyansh asking his last questions.
"This, the way he is talking, is he going to let him live after all that?" Sanya asked.
"He sure is gutsy to stream it live," Anaya remarked.
"StarWalker...is he on our watch list? This name is new to me," she questioned.
"No, but if our branch office kept an eye privately, than I don’t know," Sanya answered.
They watched Reyansh step closer to Jai.
"That’s a bit anticlimactic to let the guy live after..." Sanya stopped as she watched Jai’s head roll on the ground, his eyes still open.
"What the..." Sanya tried to speak but her mind turned blank.
"He is dangerous, the way he moved and talked, it sure felt like he was going to give him a chance."
"I didn’t notice even slightest hesitation or emotion in his action, his control is frightening," Anaya remarked, though she didn’t show because of her daughter, she was slightly unsettled too.
"You okay?" she asked, looking at her daughter.
"Yeah...it was a bit..." she stopped hearing StarWalker speak.
Both silently heard his warning before he ended the stream.
Anaya slumped back into her ergonomic chair while Sanya sat on the table in the side.
"You watched him longer than me, what’s your opinion about him, my daughter?" she asked.
"He is powerful, vengeful and arrogant," Sanya immediately answered.
"Wrong, except that he is powerful." Anaya responded.
"How?"
"He didn’t take revenge, he used this Guildmaster as a guinea pig to send a message to the rest, never touch something that is his. Didn’t you hear the message in the end."
"And he is not arrogant too. He entered the office of a guildmaster and killed him in his own office while still being at core rank C, that’s not arrogance, that’s strength," she added.
"You are at B-rank, tell me, can you do what he did?" she asked.
"No," Sanya replied her eyes down, thinking.
"Are you going to do something about it?" Sanya asked.
"Nope, not my matter, not unless he do something to antagonize the Trishul Sentinels," Anaya answered.
"I want to go to Mumbai," Sanya spoke as she stood up.
"Now, where is the coming from?" Anaya looked at her daughter questioningly.
"I want to be strong like him," Sanya answered, a fire burning in her eyes which Anaya noticed.
"And why would he tell you something like that?"
"Umm...I don’t know, I would make him," stumped, Sanya stated.
"Didn’t you hear what I said, he is dangerous,"
"Yeah, but I am sure my mother is more dangerous," Sanya said proudly.
"Ohh, so you are thinking of using me as a chip, huh? Don’t make him our enemy, I don’t want to kill a promising hunter," Anaya said with a smile.
"Go pack your bags, I will send someone along for your safety," she added.
"Okay, thanks, mom," Sanya hugged her mother then left the room.
Anaya opened her files again but a question still lingered in her mind, ’Was I capable of killing a S-ranker when I was at core rank C?’

At the Hospital, in Vanya’s room
Both Arpita and Luna exhaled as the Reyansh’ stream ended.
"What do you think Luna, will that warning work?" Arpita asked, making herself comfortable on the sofa.
"Maybe, it will work at least for now. In the long run? Only time will tell," she answered.
"What about the organization, any messages yet?" she questioned back.
"Nope, nothing yet, they will check the situation for themselves first before summoning me or sending someone to visit me," Arpita answered.
"But I will have give him that, he even made watching an execution fun. He is a natural streamer with that ice cold control of his," she added.
"Let’s see how you handle the aftermath, Reyansh. Welcome to the world that changed 5 years ago," She spoke as she watched the sister for which her brother was ready to tackle the whole world, head on, sleeping peacefully.
