Demon Slayer: Rise of The First Werewolf
Chapter 130: Other POV (2)
Somewhere else in the city, two werewolves sat inside an old building but even though the building was old, it was still strong.
This abandoned building was a tourist resort having existed since the creation of this city. It was one of the first and oldest buildings in the entire city.
Currently, the two Werewolves inside were waiting quietly. One was a man and another a woman.
The man had a lean build and long black hair that danced in the wind. He was wearing a kimono.
His name was Yamato the silent sword as he called himself. Behind him stood a short woman with a petite figure.
She was dressed like a nun but her nun robe had two slits on each leg that reached her thighs.
She did not look holy in the slightest, her entire form exuded seduction. Her name was Naija.
Naija had a constant smile on her face, around her neck was a silver rosary, this was her weapon.
Unlike the weapons of others, she couldn’t dismiss her weapon, once it formed, it stayed out.
Fortunately it didn’t drain her esper as long as she was not using it. What was even stranger.
Was that she had a cloth around her eyes, Naija was blind. You’d expect a werewolf to heal from such afflictions but not her.
" Sir Yamato, it seems the blasphemous fools have arrived." She whispered in a soft voice was maintain her soft smile.
Yamato sighed, ’ Why did I have to be paired up with her.’ all the other werewolves though she was creepy.
Naija mostly kept to herself but her presence gave others the shivers. As she had said, Yamato smelled the vampires soon after.
This was another thing about her, her senses were far beyond that of a normal werewolf.
Only those with sensing type abilities were above her, perhaps it was to compensate for her blindness.
Soon, 8 vampires showed up, leading them was an old vampire with wrinkles on his aged face.
" Ho ho ho, what do we have here? To think we would be so lucky, we’re have dog meat tonight."
The old vampire laughed, he didn’t seem to be scared of the two of them and they both understood why.
" We were told only barons were present here, tell me old cretin, what is a Viscount like you doing here?"
Naija asked but the old man just smiled at her. " Are you blind little wolf?" He asked, Naija didn’t answer.
" Does that foolish leader of yours underestimate us so much as to send a blind child against us.
I will send him your head before I take his." The old man said venomously, he sounded angry.
The room got colder, so much so that frost started appearing on the ground and the walls.
The vampires grew vigilant, Yamato looked to the side and Saw Naija carrying her rosary with both hands.
" How dare a vermin like you use my lord’s name in vain, your worthless life will not be enough to pay for your blasphemy."
Naija was a special nut case which nobody understood, not even Adrian. While werewolves like Suzie respected Adrian.
To the point of thinking the world resolved around him, Naija worshipped him in the literal sense.
Naija was born blind, orphaned at a young age, her life was miserable and in that darkness due sought comfort.
She found that comfort in religion, that was until she was assaulted by a priest and she asked.
If God is there watching, then why did he watch her suffer, why was the man proclaimed to be his spokesperson doing this?
Her faith wavered and eventually it was obliterated when she didn’t receive justice, she had given up on life when they found her.
At first, she didn’t believe their claims, it was not like she could see them with her own eyes to prove them.
But she had no choice, or rather she didn’t care what happened to her anymore, that I was until that night.
The night where her fate changed and she became a werewolf herself. The world finally revealed itself to her.
Naija’s eyes did not open, not like those of others but she was able to see for the first time in her life.
While others see colours, she sees aura and those older Werewolves her powerful auras surpassing her own.
She knew they were superior but none were enough to make her feel awe, until she saw him.
An aura blazing as high as the cold moon itself, its light laminated the entire world almost blinding her.
At that moment she felt her heart beat with fear and awe. At that moment she truly believed a god existed.
And he was was sitting in front of her, his aura made even the wooden chair he was on look like an a throne of gold.
Her death faith came to life once more but this time, it was directed at another god, a god she had seen, a God who had given her another life.
One who given her the power to wield her fate by her own hands and she willingly gave that life back to him.
Now, she lived with the sole purpose of serving him, unlike the others whose faith were shallow.
She cared not if he saw her, she cared not if he praised her or rewarded her. Carrying out his will was all the reward she needed.
So when this foolish unfaithful dared to insult her lord, the anger inside her blazed higher than mountains.
" Naija come down." Yamato tried to stop her but felt a wave of killing intent directed at him.
" Calm down you tell me, Yamato, how are you fine with mere insects daring to insult our great lord.
Tell me, where does your loyalty lie?" Her voice came out calm yet extremely cold like winter wind.
Yamato felt a shiver, ’ Damn, this woman is extremely strong.’ he immediately discerned she was most likely stronger than him.
That was true, even Adrian did not know this because he never bothered to ask about weapon type abilities, they weren’t interesting to him.
But Naija also had a limitless type ability, except hers dependent on her faith, an ability awakened by her pure desire to serve Adrian.
The rosary, a symbol of her faith and devotion. She threw it up and the rosary lit up with blinding silver light.
When the light disappeared, a giant silver wolf with fur as soft as silk appeared next to her.
This was the first time she had shown this ability to anybody else. Yamato felt the power of this wolf and shivered.
At that moment he was certain, amongst the Omega, she was definitely the strongest. He sighed.
" I guess we’re doing this." A katana with a scabbard appeared.
