Chapter 131: Chapter 131: She’s Back Home

Adrian sat atop the roof of his building as the battles were waged across the entire city, he had no intentions of interfering.

He eventually got bored and went through check on his garden. His flowers and trees were finally ready.

Suzie appeared next to him, " Do you plan to harvest them tonight my lord?" She asked and he nodded.

He picked what he could and went to the North to see the witches. There were a few alchemy witches there.

They were very happy to buy them from him, Adrian made nearly a hundred roots from those flowers and few fruits.

Suzie had the pleasure of witnessing a rare happy smile from him. With his new found wealth, he went out for a meal.

Of course he didn’t use black elk coins but normal money since he was in a normal human restaurant.

When he was done he flew west, he spent a few minutes watching Annie then went back home.

Adrian found his house open, he paused and sniffed the air but he couldn’t catch any scent besides those he was used to.

He used lunar realm to search inside the house but there was nobody there and nothing was missing.

On the contrary, there was a box on the table,’ This looks familiar.’ he went inside with Suzie behind him.

Adrian slit his wrist and poured his blood on the box, it clicked open and inside he found more rings.

Enough to match the exact number of werewolves as if they were made specifically for them.

Besides the rings, there was piece of paper, he opened it and it only said, " Stay safe and don’t do anything stupid, i love you."

He immediately knew she was here, he ran out the house and sniffed the air again trying to catch her scent but couldn’t smell her at all.

He went back inside frustrated. Across the street on top of another building, four people could be seen.

Three women and one very muscular man carrying an axe, each one had an amulet around their necks.

" Ah man this feels uncomfortable, it’s been so long since I’ve felt this weak, couldn’t you have just given us the other amulet?"

The man complained whine rubbish his shoulders. The short woman in front didn’t say anything.

Her eyes were fixed on the house across the street. One of the other two women leaned forward.

Her long pitch black hair almost hanging off the side of the building. " So this is the famous cursed child feared by even those monsters.

Ke ke ke, he doesn’t look so special to me, I don’t get why you’re so obsessed with protecting him."

The woman commented expecting the other party to react but like the man she received no reaction.

The woman in question looked up, " It won’t be long now, my home might not last past tomorrow.

Leave me, I wish to be alone for tonight." The other three didn’t dare delay and immediately took off.

She sat down and waved her hand while uttering a spell below her breath. Invisible eyes appeared and spread out.

Using them she watched over the entire city capturing every little thing through her crystal ball. The laughs of the ignorant.

The gambling of the greedy and those partying like there were no tomorrow. She soaked up everything.

She mostly focused on the battles of the werewolves with the vampires and she was amazed by their power.

" These guys are impressive than I’ve ever expected them to be." She smiled softly and a glimmer of hope appeared.

She also noticed their devotion and love for Adrian and felt relief. ’ At least he doesn’t have to be alone.’

Time passed and the sun was about to rise, she stood up and stretched. ’ Perhaps it’s time I see to them.’

Her body flickered and she teleported outside the city. She appeared in a camp of vampires.

As soon as she appeared, two vampires came out and faced her. The shorter of the two stood forward.

She smiled softly upon seeing Meggie, Meggie didn’t return the gesture. " You’re Sevana am I correct?"

She asked and the vampire giggled, " To think even an ancient one such as yourself would know my name, it’s truly is an honour.

Morg..oh, I heard you go by Meggie now, is it okay if I address you as Meggie?" Sevana asked.

" Perhaps you didn’t know so I’ll forgive your transgression this once but this is my home, leave now and you might bring your lives with you."

Meggie threatened and the temperature dropped. The vampires found themselves taking a step back.

They’ve heard legends of this witch, it is believed that she once came face to face with the Nameless one and came out alive.

They didn’t know if the rumours were true but none wanted to find out. " He he he." They heard giggling.

Sevana looked at Meggie’s eyes and smiled with amusement. " I’ve heard a little rumour oh old witch.

That you not only lost your memories upon meeting the Nameless one but you lost your power and most of your spells.

Now, I wonder, how much exactly did your power drop, I wonder if a little vampire girl such as myself could defeat you.

Should we find out old witch?" Sevana asked provocatively, a drop of blood appeared on her palm.

It stayed hidden ready for action at any moment. Meggie naturally saw it but she didn’t act.

" Are you sure that’s what you want little girl? You’re too far from home, your family won’t be able to save you here."

Meggie replied but that made Sevava’s grin grow wider. " You’re being careful, which means the rumours are true.

From what I’ve heard of you, we should be dead by now, you’re not one known to talk or threaten.

Especially when a spawn of yours is threatened. Don’t look surprised, there are still stories of what happened back then.

And you, are nothing like the stories say." As soon as she said that, that drop of blood shot out like a bullet.

"Mgoqo" BOOOOM.
