Demon Slayer: Rise of The First Werewolf
Chapter 142: Tricked
All of them knew things were bad, they acted immediately. Each and every vampire used their blood morphis.
The plebians without blood morphis started shaking in fear, unfortunately they couldn’t disobey their masters.
They pulled out their claws and fangs and lunged at Adrian but they didn’t even have a chance to get close.
A rain of silver spheres stopped them in their tracks and took off the heads of a few of them.
Suzie walked towards them on all fours like a graceful wolf. She growled revealing sharp fangs.
" How dare you low lives stand in my lords way." A dome formed around her creating a barrier.
Hundreds of silver spheres appeared in the sky above her. They glowed like twinkling stars under moonlight.
She attacked, streaks of silver descended upon them like rain moving so fast they barely had time to react.
They were riddled with holes instantly and some had their hearts and head shattered like balloons killing them instantly.
Sam scratched the back of his head, " I guess we can’t just stand and watch now can we?"
Melissa nodded, she was just waiting for Adrian to decide. The most powerful of the noble vampires surrounded Adrian.
More vampires had arrived after he left which is why the werewolves were struggling so much.
Most were plebians of course but there were nearly 100 barons at level 2 and 15 at level 3 plus 4 level 3 viscounts.
Their military strength certainly far outclassed that of the werewolves, or that would’ve been the case had Adrian not been here.
He didn’t even bother turning into his true werewolf form and they seemed to anger the viscounts.
They were very prideful, having to gang up on him even though he was an entire level below them was insulting enough.
Him not even using his full strength was more than they can handle. A giant bat of blood appeared in the sky.
The bat suddenly exploded and turned into hundreds of regular sized bats but each had a tremendous amount of power.
The cloud of blood bats descended upon Adrian. In response he snapped his finger, a tiny spark appeared mid air.
The works slowed down then BOOOOOM, a loud explosion appeared in the sky above him.
Flames spread out like a cloud and burnt most of the cloud of bats causing the vampire who had attacked to back off.
She gritted her teeth and bit her own tongue, a drop of blood appeared. It appeared to be a shade darker than her other blood attacks.
She was preparing something, Adrian decided to intervene when a vampire clad in blood armour appeared in front of him.
The blood armour was like a giant mech suit standing at 4 metres tall. The others surrounded him as well.
He was three viscounts at level 3 and 10 barons. None of the level 2 vampires dared to come close to him.
He also left them for the others to deal with, the Gemma would have to deal with the remaining five level 3 barons as well.
The three viscounts attacked him at the same time. Their manipulation of blood were quite different.
One was a close combat fighter using the blood armour. The second one was a long ranged attacker.
He can create blood arrows mid air, he didn’t even need a bow to use them. The third one used restraints.
He can used blood chains to bind his opponents. The three of them complimented each other.
Unfortunately they met Adrian, their coordination was meaningless in front of him.
His power was too great. The blood giant punched. The air screamed, Adrian was hit on the face by the wind before the punch even arrived.
He was much smaller than his opponent but that did not matter. He reached out to grab his fist.
Before he could though, a thick blood chain wrapped around his arm. He saw the other vampire trying to pull him from the side.
However the difference in their strength was too great, Adrian didn’t budge, he yanked the chain pulling the vampire towards him.
He rammed his body on the blood giant sending both of them to his left. He used them as shields to block the rain of blood arrows.
All of this happened in a split second, Adrian did not even bother using any of his abilities against them.
The 10 barons were not to left behind, the world around Adrian turned red from all the blood weapons flying at him.
He didn’t even bother dodging any of them, his hands turned into blurs and he grabbed all of them out of the air.
This caught the vampires by surprise but before they could react he threw their attacks back at them faster than they came.
" Ahhh." The vampires were nailed by their own attacks.
" Tccwh" Adrian clicked his tongue, " My aim isn’t good enough." He had missed most of their vital organs.
Of the 10, onlybtei had died and the rest received varying levels of damage. However this act terrified them even more.
But they didn’t back down, they were adamant about protecting the last viscount from him.
Which confused Adrian because he couldn’t sense any threat from her attack, perhaps they didn’t know that.
He was of mind to let her finish building up her attack then crush it to make them despair but eventually decided against that.
Just as he was about to attack, they lunged at him again like wild beasts. ’ What the hell is wrong with them.’
He wondered, ’ Well it doesn’t matter, I’ll kill all of them anyways.’ Adrian stopped playing.
He conjured thousands of weapons made of lunar esper, silver weapons hanged in the sky above everybody.
Adrian didn’t know the results his actions had on the werewolves. The most effected was naturally Naija.
Her faith in him grew to absurd levels, her wolf summon seemed to be glowing and it grew larger.
She smiled creepily at the terrified vampires she was fighting. " Behold the might of a true God you cretin!"
She shouted fanatically. They ignored her, their attention was fully above them. All of them froze including the viscounts. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
" Die!" Everybody heard a shout and saw a human head sized blood ball flying at Adrian with tremendous speed.
Yet there were no sonic booms in its path, it flew silently like a shadow. So fast even Adrian struggled to dodge it.
’ If this hit me, it might actually wound me.’ he finally felt a threat from this attack and he responded.
He moved his head instinctually and dodged them he saw her smile at him triumphantly. ’ Damnit she tricked me.’
He realised too late to even conjure a barrier to stop it, it was moving too fast. Then it hit its target.
BOOOOOM, the ground shook and flames spread out like a flood devouring everything in its path.
