Demon's Lust: making a harem with lust system
Chapter 160: Robe of Phlegethon
"This is the last piece to the puzzle."
Inside a giant construction, on a small planet, two humans stared at a fountain of boiling blood.
The whole building was made out of bloodstones; across the planet, monoliths made a web that connected in the sphere-shaped building, with the fountain being at the center of it.
Cindi checked the fountain; the magic inside the small place was dense enough that it could be compared to the size of an ocean, yet all that mass gathered in a small place meant only one thing.
"You want to make armor by this?"
"No, I don’t know how to make armor." After many tries Ray had no progress in making any piece of armor. "But the goal is to use my robe instead of armor; it fits my style better."
Cindi watched the muscles on his chest; the robe showed so little. After a week of fucking like crazy people, she admired Ray’s looks more than before. "Yeah, armor would be weird, so why do you need me?"
"What composes that amount of magic inside that little place is the monoliths that you see outside; if I open the seals, they will just explode." Ray walked to the top of the fountain, taking out his robe. "That’s when you will come in handy; I need energy, lots of it, to turn my robe into a magical item at first."
Cindi started to measure the amount she needed. "You want my magic to collide with the energy inside the fountain, and you will keep your robe between the two?"
"It’s more complicated than that, but yes, I just want both sides to put the same amount of energy." The only person capable of such a feat that Ray knew was standing in front of him.
Walking around the boiling blood, Cindi got to work; the density and gravity all had their own effects on how much she needed to activate her magic. Ray had probably caged his magic in that place for years at that point.
After three hours, Cindi finally walked back to Ray. "Got it. But how are you going to make a fabric store so magical?"
Devil magic could have been solely used to make a model for weapons; in the case of armor, it fell short rather easily with the smallest change in form, but that was not the end of the story. Ray still had another magic.
Taking a robe from deep under the ground, a robe like any other robe presented itself to them.
"Now, I’m getting jealous that I don’t have something like this." Cinti’s eyes detected very small forms of pure magic between the fabric, placed in a way that kept it as a whole.
Placing the robe between the ceiling and the fountain, with long steps and excitement in the depths of his heart, Ray moved to the other side of the room.
Red flame wings carried Cindi to the top of the fountain; her distance from the ground was less than 20 meters. The impact could have had catastrophic consequences if they were on earth.

Ray removed all the seals of the fountain; trapped blood magic finally had a way to escape its cage. In a current launched to the sky.
With a snap, a burst of yellow flames crashed down, exactly colliding where the robe was placed; the two forces didn’t move an inch as they continued to fight one another.
"I stored 30 years’ worth of my blood magic in there; it should be emptied this soon."
Cindi watched with a bored face; her magic worked on its own while she landed next to Ray. "You have so much patience!"
"Most of the time in here I had nothing to do; for the rest, between my trainings, I decided to work on this." Ray explained as he watched the robe with shiny eyes.
All that energy had to go somewhere, and what better place than a vessel made pure magic for it?
"Wanna fuck?" Cindi suddenly asked with a giggle.
Ray looked at her, faced with a serious question. Ray had to pass. "After this I will return to earth, and you have an artifact to counter too."
"There is some progress on it; someone from the resistance group knew of its vase magic. Now working around it will be much easier."
"What magic?"
Cindi giggled again, "You are the last person in the whole universe that I would answer with that question."
"Fair."
Both of them enjoyed the scenery in silence.
After about an hour, Cindi said with a calm voice, "My duties call me; you will start the war after this, right?"
Ray nodded. "The resistance group is strong, yet its structure is so fragile. No one knows how terrifying the enemy is."
Cindi kissed him. "Don’t die." With that, as the beams of magic faded away, flames swallowed her figure.
The robe came into his hands; it had turned into a red robe with a hurricane of green flames trapped inside of it.
Armor: Robe of Phlegethon
Rarity: Mythical
Passive: Makes a shield around the wielder
Level: Unkown
"Not bad." In offense, Ray had no problem for the moment, yet his defense had a lot of work. Although his healing magic was strong, if someone destroyed his heart and brain at the same time, he would have just vanished.
Wearing the robe, Ray took a glance at the bare planet for the last time. "We shall meet once more."
Teleporting back to earth, the mansion was still empty. Jade and Marian had evaded him because of the time with Cindi, yet what he needed at that moment was something else.
"Trom, can you find the next public meeting of General Hank or Menendez for me?" The butler had more talents than just cooking.
The boy bowed. "General Hank has a meeting about gamma radiation weapons in three hours; since it’s too early, how about in two weeks."
"No, good enough." Ray teleported out of the mansion; before he vanished, he said with a smile, "I will bring his head as a gift for you."
