Demon's Lust: making a harem with lust system
Chapter 178: Battle of beasts 4
"Its aura is eating everything that comes in its way." Cindi observed the creature’s structure with precision; using human souls as its fuel, it could sustain its form. Somewhere inside that liquid, a part converted the human souls into the devil’s magic.
Her wings took her to the sky above; if she wanted to fight on earth, only ash would have remained on the planet.
Monster followed her footsteps into the space.
In minutes Cindi landed on the moon, far enough to not destroy the satellites around earth.
Flames spinned around her spear; seeing the creature above her head, she launched all the magic in her spear. A beam of flames in different colors hit the target, yet it continued its way in the flames toward her.
Tensing her muscles, she threw the spear between the flames; upon impact, flames lightened the void of space around them.
The spear had pierced its shoulder; feeling the damage for the first time, its roar extinguished the fire around it.
A punch sent it flying to the surface of the moon; Cindi’s whole body was covered by ever-changing flames with a pair of white wings behind her back.
"I could have you killed without even seeing you, but now let me make an example out of you."
The creature’s speed was greater than the speed of light by a small margin, but Cindi’s speed was so high that space waved as she moved.
It attacked blindly; before it could reach her, her fist landed in its stomach, and her kick sent it in the air. Using her spear again, thousands of spears hit the creature midair.
A kick sent it to the other side of the moon, and as it landed on the surface with its head, a fist hit straight to its chest.
Pinned to the ground, two spears impaled its hands. In a helpless state, a rain of fists rained down upon its head and neck. Cindi showed no mercy; each of her punches was enough to destroy a mountain of earth, but the creature just took them like they were nothing.
Cindi looked at it with disgust; half of its magic was gone. She could continue the same: "You are making me bored."
Flames gathered around her gloves, charging it to the point that her fists’ temperature could match the center of the sun, and landed the hit again; the ground beneath them shattered, with the creature breaking in near the core of the moon.
Watching over the small moon, half of it was shattered completely.
"Mother of all flames, arise." She snapped, and flames devoured the moon. Anything that could be vaporized disappeared. The rest started to melt in front of her eyes.
Getting ready to throw her weapon once more, flames made a barrel as big as a building in front of her. The spear left her hands, passing the long barrel; its speed doubled.
It passed through the moon and came out from the other side. For a second nothing happened, and then the remainder of the moon exploded. Mass and flames were thrown in all directions, and in the center of it all, the creature burned in flames with a hole in its head.
Making sure that the creature was dead for good, Cindi smiled at the sight in front of her. Pieces of a shattered moon were floating in front of her. "Now, I wonder who will challenge me."
A gaze fell upon her, and a shiver went down from her spine; it was not from heavens or hells, but rather a higher dimension...
If she looked back, she doubted that she could keep her sanity. "Fear and hunger themselves are keeping an eye on me..."
Ignoring the gaze, Cindi awaited for it to go away. On Mars many stories about those who encountered firstborns and none of them ended well; only Ray was insane enough to bond with one of them.
After a minute, she was left alone again, and with a sigh of relief, she whispered to herself, "I should head back to earth; Ray’s plan should have worked."
Someone from her squad had kind of kept silence in control to not interfere in Ray’s fight, and the military had already lost all of its troops; a new government and an enforcement were needed for Earth.
Fortunately for her, Alexanderia and Marian both had come to earth with a special someone as their leader.
"Now, Goddess Squad will no longer have any benefit from earth..."
Meanwhile on a faraway planet, an immortal broke the glass in her hand; all six members of the goddess squad had gathered for the emergency situation. Their secret relationship with the military was destroyed with General Armstrong on the brink of death.
Aria tried her last resort, "We should go to Earth and call the king of silence our member!"
"Don’t be a sore loser." Scarlet didn’t hide her enjoyment from seeing her angry face.
Fereya’s voice echoed through the small hall, "From now on we will have no connections to the earth, Ith."
"At your service." A woman with dark hair and chains as her clothing stepped forward.
"From now on, you will be the vice leader; all the matters regarding the frontlines will be your duty." She turned around to face the picture of Cindi. "The rest of you, focus on her. Sonething is amiss with her magic."
"What about me?" Among all of them Aria had the highest level; in her mind, she should have been the true leader.
"The meeting is over." With that, one by one, Aria and Scarlet were left alone in the room.
Scarlet said with a tap on her shoulder, "At least be happy that she didn’t accept your challenge."
"Fuck off." Aria tried her best to stay calm; all of her problems led back to a certain man. If he didn’t exist, she wouldn’t need to be a normal member again.
"I will kill both of them..."
"Just don’t get yourself killed." Scarlet broke into laughter.
