Chapter 179: Chapter 179: Drunk

About ten minutes later, both Tristan Grayson and Cassian Jennings were leaning against the sofa in silence.

Gia Miller sat up straight and gently shook Cassian Jennings beside her. "Cassian? Cassian Jennings? Are you drunk?" 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Cassian Jennings lifted his hazy eyes to look at Gia Miller, his breathing growing a little heavy...

Seeing Cassian suddenly awake, Gia Miller’s breath hitched, startled. A blush quickly spread across her face as she leaned over him. "Cassian, can you hear me?"

"Get off me!" Once Cassian saw clearly who the woman was, he shoved her away forcefully, his face a mask of utter disgust.

Shoved so forcefully by Cassian, Gia Miller nearly tumbled off the sofa. She scrambled to her feet, calling out in a panicked, anxious voice, "Cassian..."

"Stay away from me!" After the recent series of incidents, Cassian had started putting on a facade. In front of others, he was as cordial to Gia Miller as ever. But as soon as they were alone, he was utterly repulsed by her, feeling filthy if she so much as touched him.

Tears immediately welled in Gia Miller’s eyes. "Cassian Jennings, do you even know who I am?" ’Anyone can call me filthy, but what right do *you* have to be disgusted with me? Aren’t you the one who made me this way?’

"Get out! I don’t want to see you!" Cassian yelled, fighting the sickness in his body as he pointed an angry finger at Gia Miller.

Gia Miller swallowed her indignation, her voice turning cold and sinister. "Cassian Jennings, don’t blame me for this." With that, she walked around the table to Tristan Grayson’s side and began helping him up from the sofa.

Cassian felt as if his head were about to split open. "Gia Miller, what are you doing?"

"Cassian Jennings, you’re the one who wronged me. You forced my hand. Besides, you know I like Tristan. I’ve always liked Tristan..."

"Gia Miller, don’t make me hate you!" ’He didn’t care if she was with other men, but it absolutely could not be Tristan Grayson.’

"Cassian Jennings, just let me have him. Once I become Tristan’s woman, I promise we can wipe the slate clean for everything that’s happened." Supporting Tristan Grayson, Gia Miller started walking toward the door.

Forcing his body to move, Cassian staggered after them. But he was in too much agony to get far. After just two steps, his legs gave out. He lifted his bloodshot eyes and roared, "Where are you taking Tristan?"

Gia Miller glanced back, seeing Cassian could barely even walk. The smile on her lips grew even colder as she pulled out her phone. She called a few of her friends, telling them to come and "take good care" of Master Jennings.

Cassian struggled to keep calm. He fumbled for his phone, found Aiden Avery’s number, and dialed. "Aiden Avery, Vespera Bar! Gia Miller took Tristan!" Without waiting for a response, he hurled the phone to the floor. He sank to the ground, pulled out a pack of cigarettes, and lit one with a trembling hand. Rolling up his sleeve, he brutally pressed the lit end against his arm. He lit another and did it again. After repeating this a third time, the searing pain finally shocked Cassian back to his senses.

He grabbed his phone, scrambled to his feet, and raced out the door in pursuit. The moment he stepped out of the suite, he saw a dozen or so scantily clad women in the hallway. The instant they saw him, they all swarmed him. "Master Jennings, long time no see!"

"That’s right, Master Jennings. All us girls have missed you terribly."
