The door opened and Reiji and the Velsra stepped inside.

’Why the hell are there three skeletons here?’

It wasn’t only Reiji who had this thought; so did the Velsra.

Even the skeletons were shocked, and before they could even react, their heads went flying with one swing of the long bone sword.

Reiji repeated the system notification in his head.

’Wait...’

Reiji turned to look at the headless skeletons.

The realization dawned on him.

’They were females?!’

Reiji was taken aback by the sudden realization.

’But they don’t have any skin, so how do they...’

Reiji’s mind suddenly gave him the answer he didn’t want in 4K.

Reiji’s sanity, which had already disappeared when he saw the Velsra fapping, somehow became even more damaged as the scene played in his head.

’Why....?’ Reiji let out a long sigh.

The Velsra tilted its head. "My Lord, what’s the problem? Is something bothering you?"

"Don’t worry about me," Reiji said a little gloomily.

"So the fucking Undead King’s treasure was his concubines?" Reiji muttered to himself as he walked out of the room.

The Velsra didn’t understand its master’s sudden change of mood but decided not to pry as it followed behind him quietly.

Reiji continued his tour around the palace.

He saw the training grounds, which were very large, and there was even a huge platform for training and sparring.

He continued deeper into the palace and saw the armory where different weapons belonging to the Undead King’s soldiers were lined up.

"This must be where they go before war... But who would they battle?"

Reiji suddenly thought of something and turned to the Velsra.

"Where are we?"

"Your palace, My Lord," it responded casually.

"No, this place. Where is the palace located?"

"I don’t know, My Lord. I was kidnapped by the Undead King’s soldiers during their attack on my village," the Velsra said dramatically.

Reiji rolled his eyes.

"But I think, or rather, from what I’ve gathered so far... we’re probably located on Undead King’s Isla..."

"AHHAA...!!!! WE’RE ON THE LEGENDARY UNDEAD KING’S ISLAND!"

"Why are you yelling so loud?!" Reiji was taken aback by the way the Velsra spoke excitedly as if it had made a shocking discovery.

"You don’t know, My Lord? Well, I didn’t know myself. Before, I thought it was just a group of rubbish undead skeletons, but I didn’t know it was the Legendary Undead King’s skeletons!" The Velsra spoke very fast, excited like a little child.

Reiji still didn’t understand what was so special about it.

The Velsra saw Reiji’s confused expression and explained. "My Lord, in this land there are four major power continents. The Devil’s Continent, the Beast Continent, the Human Continent, and the Exiled Continents. But one man, or rather one skeleton, was able to wage war with only an army of thousands against millions, and he still came out victorious against all three continents!"

Reiji’s eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you sure you’re not talking about another skeleton?"

"No, My Lord. I can’t be mistaken."

’These three continents must be very strong and must contain at least many S-Rank warriors, or perhaps even stronger.’ Reiji thought quietly.

"But if the Undead King was that strong, why was he a D-Rank?" Reiji asked.

"My Lord, after the Battle of a Thousand Nights, the Undead King stood in the blood of his enemies. But after that he disappeared and was never seen again. His island was said to be lost to time, and anybody who tries to find it won’t only lose their sense of direction, but would also find themselves in the Endless Abyss at the end of the world."

The Velsra spoke with a look of awe.

"Could it be that the war had something to do with his power dropping to D-Rank?" Reiji asked.

"I think that might be it, My Lord. Ha! To think I was captured by the Legendary Warrior."

The Velsra said in amazement. But then it suddenly remembered that somebody had killed that great warrior, and that person was standing before him. This made the Velsra look at Reiji with even more admiration and respect.

Meanwhile, Reiji was still finding it hard to believe. ’I think there’s something much deeper to this.’

Growl~

The tips of Reiji’s ears instantly turned bright red. ’After all this fighting, what did I expect? I guess I’ll need to go back home.’

"Your Majesty, if you’re hungry then I can..."

"Shh..."

Reiji shushed the Velsra. ’I’m not the one you’re going to kill.’

"Stand back."

Reiji spoke, and immediately the Velsra took several steps backward.

’System, open the gate back home.’

Ding!

[Location confirmed. Please stand back, Host!]

RUMBLE!!!

The whole palace trembled violently as a massive black door suddenly materialized right in front of him.

Reiji took the key from his inventory and opened the door.

The Velsra’s mouth was practically on the ground.

"What the hell is that? And how...?"

"It’s a door, you dumbass."

Reiji sounded a little annoyed.

Ding!

[Do you wish to take the Velsra as your servant or disciple, Host?]

[There are no rewards or bonuses attached to the bond.]

Reiji rolled his eyes, not believing what the system was saying.

Reiji thought for a moment and turned to the Velsra.

"What the hell did you say you were again?"

"A Velsra, My Lord."

"Velsra... It sounds stupid."

The Velsra’s eyes twitched.

"I’m going to give you a name." Reiji spoke as if he were issuing a royal decree.

"Uhm... Let’s see... Masturbating Goblin sounds good."

"M-My Lord, please reconsider your options."

"Ahh, fine... Shameless Goblin?"

"My Lord..." The Velsra winced.

"Furball."

The Velsra’s face changed into an expression worse than taking a crap.

"Varkis."

’Is he messing with me?’

"Velrik."

"Uhm... You said you’re a Velsra, right? So... Vel."

"Thank you for gracing this humble servant with a name, My Lord."

The Velsra bowed.

"You’re really talented."

"Thank you, My Lord."

"I guess years of sticking up to people taught you some manners."

"I’ll take that as a compliment."

Reiji just shook his head, staring at the Velsra still bowing.

’This thing does know how to act.’

"Okay, let’s go. After you, Masturbating Goblin."

Reiji pointed at the door with a welcoming smile.

Vel had a bad feeling about this and quickly said,

"No, My Lord. This mere servant shouldn’t go before his master."

’This is clearly a trap.’

Vel thought quietly.

’This thing is smarter than I thought. Well, like it or not, since you’re my servant, I shall do this experiment and see what would happen if someone who isn’t me passes through the door.’

Reiji thought mischievously.

’I bet he’ll blow up.’ Reiji grinned.

He now understood why science experiments were considered fun.

"Lead the way, humble servant. I insist."

Reiji said with a serious tone while releasing some of his aura.

Vel swallowed hard. He knew there wasn’t any excuse left to make.

Now he had only two options.

Either run and die by Reiji’s hand, or walk through the door, where the probability of him dying was fifty-fifty.

’Please... I don’t want to die...’ the Velsra prayed in his heart as he slowly walked forward.

Meanwhile, Reiji watched excitedly.

’Explode!’
