This Floating Fortress is named the Freya, covering an area of approximately one thousand acres, which is about 0.66 square kilometers, equivalent to one-fifteenth of a Floating City.

Don’t assume that 0.66 square kilometers is small. You should know, even the Tianchao Palace is only 0.72 square kilometers. As a Floating Fortress, the Mengmeng Committee’s airborne fortress is already quite large.

Meanwhile, the smallest Floating Fortress in the "Elf Kingdom" is the Morningstar of the Moon Night Knight Order, with an area of just one hundred acres.

But even so, during the Plane World conquest, the Moon Night Knight Order can slaughter enemies with their small Floating Fortress...

To be able to fly in the void means it can naturally fly in the Plane World as well. A quasi-Legendary level fortress in a mythical level Plane World is a near invincible presence.

Accompanied by nearly twenty starships, Tony’s starship entered the Freya’s aviation port.

The aviation port is the hallmark of a Fortress, located on the outskirts. The Freya, for instance, can accommodate up to 60 standard starships.

However, docking requires payment, as does resupply, and even hitching a ride back with a teleportation incurs a fee.

Fortunately, Tony himself is a high-level player of the Mengmeng Committee, and since his starship is registered with the guild, he does not need to pay docking fees, but only symbolically pays one-tenth of the teleportation fee, and resupply is half-priced for internal members.

Just like the starship, the Floating Fortress also has many trained professional NPCs responsible for the Fortress’s maintenance and operation, which players have gradually chosen since the first voyage of the Floating City.

After all... besides the commanding captain, maintenance and operation require both time and effort, tasks players generally dislike.

For such chores, it’s best to find labor to handle them, and among these, Half-Elf NPCs are particularly favored.

They are loyal, without the stubborn mindset of Elves, and are intelligent, even playing combat roles in critical moments.

The downside is probably the cost.

Compared to other races, Elves and Half-Elves are fewer in number, and most prefer stable lives over adventures.

Only by offering higher rewards can this problem be resolved.

Of course, some players think outside the box.

For instance, Dema of Heart of Nature and Dongdong, these two who infiltrated the Life Church’s high levels, straightforwardly started "Priest Internships" and "Knight Internships" in their guild’s Fortress, freeloading the labor of NPCs aspiring to become Life Priests or Life Knights.

The downside is also evident; as the NPCs’ "internship period" ends, they choose to leave, resulting in high turnover of maintenance personnel within the Fortress.

Pros and cons, really.

Inside, people come and go, including NPCs and players.

However, the Fortress isn’t active now, so everyone is leisurely. Tony even saw a few Elf NPCs and players playing Werewolf Kill together in the corner.

Upon Tony’s entrance, many players and NPCs greeted him as well. He’s quite the regular here, so everyone’s familiar with him.
