Elven Encounter With A Blood Seeker
Chapter 323: Let’s Go Get Our Sister
Rubisha was in her office when she received a phone call informing her that people from ’Style & Stature’ a renowned cosmetics company from Anthos wanted to meet with her and collaborate.
She instantly understood that this was what Xiran had warned her about. She agreed to the meeting to see what they wanted to say. ’Style & Stature’ had shares from renowned vampires in it but the CEO of the company hasn’t been revealed to the public.
The meeting was set for the next day and CEO would be arriving to meet her and discuss the future plans. Rubisha instructed her secretary to prepare the conference room.
That night she informed Silver about the meeting over dinner. It had become their routine to have dinner together.
Learning that some unknown people were coming to the city, Silver couldn’t help but feel apprehensive.
"I will accompany you tomorrow," he declared as both of them put away the dishes.
"Sure but I don’t want you getting into any kind of trouble because of me."
"Don’t worry, I will remain discreet and will only show myself in case the need arose, which I hope, doesn’t," he reassured her as she leaned closer and hugged him, resting her face on his chest. His arms wrapped around her, ending any distance that might have remained.
"Thank you," she whispered, closing her eyes she inhaled his masculine scent.
"Go to sleep now, you have a busy day tomorrow," Silver effortlessly picked her up and carried her to the bed and tucked her in. He remained with her until she fell asleep before heading to his condo.

Xiran had given Rivan all the details of his meeting with Rubisha. He was still trying to obtain information regarding "Style & Stature" and the person he had asked to send the report had just forwarded him the file.
Opening it he began to read and after discovering the name of the CEO, his blood began to boil. All nerves in his body seemed to have been set on fire as he stared at the name with animosity-filled eyes. This meant trouble and they had to head over to Rubisha as soon as possible.
Rivan picked up his phone and was about to dial Xiran when it began to ring. It was Warise.
"Hello! Is there something wrong Warise?" Rivan questioned, thinking why was Warise calling him.
"Good day, Señor! It’s just that I wanted to tell you that I am a bit worried about Señor Xiran," Warise then went on to tell him about the order that he had given today.
"I see, thank you for telling me. I will talk to him," Rivan reassured him before ending the call. He then dialled Xiran.
"We need to meet, it’s urgent. Come to my office," Rivan instructed as soon as Xiran picked up.
"Everything ok? You seem stressed," Xiran asked, feeling a bit of agitation in his friend’s voice.
"It’s not, come quickly so we can sort it."
"I am on my way," Xiran instantly got up and called Agent 93 to take him to Rivan’s office. His heart was in turmoil hearing Rivan’s hastened words and he couldn’t help but worry.
Reaching the building he quickly made his way to his friend’s office and entered like a whirlwind.
Rivan was rapidly pacing the spacious place and spun around to face his friend, he blurted out:
"Glad you are here. We need to head over to Rubisha. She might be in graver danger than we had anticipated."
"What’s wrong?" Xiran apprehensively asked decreasing the distance between them.
"I received the complete file on the rival company and see who the CEO is," Rivan showed him the file and Xiran couldn’t help but curse loudly. His eyes had become bloodshot as wave after wave of anger surged through him. His hands balled up and he wanted to punch a hole in the nearby wall.
"Let’s go Rivan. We won’t let anything happen to Rubisha," the determination in Xiran’s voice gave Rivan hope.
"I will end the life of anyone who would dare lay a hand on my sister or her company," Rivan fished out his phone and called his pilot to get his private jet ready while Xiran connected with Mazitine and left strings of instructions. Agent 93 took them to their private airport. Before boarding the jet, Xiran spoke to him.
"I will be back soon but meanwhile, keep an eye on the kids and the city. Frila is also not here so I am leaving you in charge," he patted Zir’s shoulder who nodded at him.
"I won’t disappoint you Señor, good luck."
Xiran and Rivan boarded their plane and it soon took off. Once they had fastened the seat belts and settled down. Rivan quietly asked:
"So any new culprits captured?" he didn’t reveal that Warise had called him and seemed worried.
"As a matter of fact, yes. Three girls were apprehended who had been planted by my father to extract information," a hollowness had descended in Xiran’s eyes as he spoke.
"Oh! And how is the investigation going?" Rivan didn’t like that look on his friend. From the time Aselia had left his life, a gloominess had gathered around him and he didn’t let anyone in anymore.
"They will be beheaded and their heads will be hanged. It will be a lesson to anyone daring to come to my city with ill intentions."
"Xiran! That’s not like you to give such orders. That’s why you have me, don’t let this darkness taint you and destroy your principles. You have them for a reason, keep them."
"I am already tainted Rivan. My father’s darkness always existed inside of me and it has been on the rampage since the day I let my Aselia go," the sadness in his voice and forlorn look in his eyes made Rivan sigh and he didn’t know what to say to him anymore. So he just patted his friend’s shoulder who had begun to stare outside the glass, lost in thoughts of Aselia.
