Elven Encounter With A Blood Seeker
Chapter 324: No Merge
Rubisha was all set for her meeting with the CEO of Style & Stature. The arrangements had been made and they would be arriving any time soon.
She had her professional look on, clad in a white jumpsuit with matching pair of sandals she was rummaging through notes when her secretary informed her that they were here.
"Have them seated. I will be right there," Rubisha instructed her with a nod of her head. Secretary left and Silver stepped inside filling her office with his presence. Their eyes connected, instantly.
His eyes wandered to her, taking in how professional and yet gorgeous she looked. A slight hint of natural red crept up on her cheeks and ends of her ears seeing his sultry gaze roaming over her body.
"I will be outside the conference room in case they try to exploit you in any way," Silver spoke in that throaty voice of his. She walked over to him and leaned closer to his tapered body before whispering:
"And what about you? Would you like to exploit my body later?" listening to her seductive words his hands descended on her soft hair and holding her head firmly his lips fervently found hers. Not caring about her lipstick he ate them up as if there was no tomorrow.
There was this roughness about his touches and yet it never pained her but only brought her immense pleasure so she shamelessly moaned against his hold. Her heartbeat going haywire.
His right hand cupped her breast and she could feel his heat even through the clothes and all she wanted to do was to feel him on her bare skin. Her groans were getting louder and it was then that he stopped.
Their lips finally separated, and she was left breathless and her make-up smeared. Yet he didn’t let her go, his thumb slowly removed the lipstick that had spread to her skin.
"You will need to fix it," he spoke in that husky hypnotic voice of his. All rational thoughts were lost to her as she kept her eyes glued on his mind-numbingly handsome face. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
"You are getting late for the meeting, Ms Rubisha," the slight smirk on the corner of his upturned lips had her jolting back to her senses.
"Yes, yes," she tore her gaze from him and searched her bag for the lipstick and mirror.
Acquiring them, she fixed her lipstick.
"Remember that mask, keep it on top inside your bag," he instructed and she obeyed.
She finally escaped from his presence before he would bind her in his spell again and she would be lost for good.
Rubisha hurried to the conference hall and opening the glass door entered it.
"Sorry, I kept you waiting," she scanned the room for the guests and found herself staring at one of the most famous female vampiresses of their era. She had seen her on TV and in countless magazines but it was the first time she was seeing her in person. She was more gorgeous than Rubisha could have imagined.
"So glad you finally decided to join us. My time is precious and I can’t squander it like that. Did no one teach you punctuality?" the woman with gorgeous black hair sneered at her.
"I apologize," Rubisha ignored her harsh tone and kept a professional smile on as she approached her and extended her hand.
She didn’t bother getting up and after giving Rubisha a displeased look, briefly shook her hand. Two burly men stood behind her in black tuxedos as she magnificently sat around the white marble table of Rubisha’s conference room.
Rubisha reached the opposite chair and made herself comfortable before declaring:
"Let’s begin!"
"It’s no news that my company is light years ahead of yours and is magnanimous in every aspect. It will be extremely beneficial for you to merge it with mine," the vampiress with black hair proudly added flicking her hair back.
"I agree with you but my company is relatively in its initial stages and I have worked hard to set it up from scratch. It’s my ultimate dream to see it flourish and achieve the heights of success like yours do," Rubisha calmly added with a little smile. She could sense that the mood of the woman changed, her eyes darkened at Rubisha’s answer.
"And you believe you can do that on your own? Big companies will engulf yours overnight and not even a piece of paper will be left behind for you to mourn," she wrinkled up her nose and drummed her slender fingers on the marble table.
"I will take my chances, Miss. I have no intention of merging my company with any other or selling any shares. Thank you for your time but it’s a no from me," Rubisha’s answer didn’t sit well with the girl with black hair. She felt extremely insulted and found her behaviour rude.
"How dare you insult me? Don’t you know who I am? I am going to burn your company down to the ground and make sure no one will even remember its name in a few days," she threatened with a voice that was raised and boomed outside the room.
Before Rubisha could answer the door opened and Silver walked in with a crinkled forehead and eyes that were as icy as a glacier. His left hand was behind his body in which he held a smoke bomb, lethal to vampires.
The woman with black hair threw a glance at him and was reminded of Xiran, her face glowed like a full moon on seeing a handsome man in front of her.
"It’s time you people leave. You heard the Chairman that this company is not for sale. Don’t make us repeat it," his voice boomed loud and clear in the conference room and she clicked her tongue at him.
"What do we have here?" getting up she closed the distance between herself and Silver in a split second as Rubisha watched from her seat.
Her hand reached out to touch his face but he elegantly stepped back and scowled at her action.
"I don’t like being touched by filth. Leave," he enunciated every word for her making her face and hand fall.
