Chapter 326: Slapped

Sohlia almost couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw Xiran standing in front of her. The wrath she was harbouring subsided and was replaced by a sinister smile which Xiran knew too well.

"Señor! What a pleasant surprise. I haven’t seen you in more than a year now," she mocked him, her eyes roaming his body like a scanner. She loved what she saw for her eyes had taken a lustful twinkle.

"It’s been a blissful duration without you or Xifin soiling my vision with your despicable existence," the malice in his words had her removing that mocking expression from her face. The three people standing behind Xiran hid their laughter seeing Sohlia’s face.

"Of course, how can I forget the way you treated us and threw us out of your city just because of that girl," she dared not insult Aselia in front of him again. She remembered his wrath the last time.

Xiran’s expressions shifted to even darker ones and the air seemed to have been sucked out of the room for he hissed at her:

"Don’t even dare to mention her name from your filthy mouth."

But Sohlia knew he was incapable of hurting her and won’t let his companions do it as well for another war will start if they tried to lay a hand on her.

"She did taste exquisite though. I have never tasted blood like hers, so pure and untainted by anything. It was like holy nectar," she made a puppy face at him and blinked innocently at him. Her words informed him that her memories had been restored as well.

"SHUT UP!" Xiran’s voice resonated in the vicinity of the tiny room and she knew she had successfully hit the nerve. The anger and resentment coursed through him like poison and killed him inside. His hands balled up as his nose flared while he sent her a death stare. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Rivan sprung into action and pulled Xiran back and held him by his arm. Rubisha and Silver Wolf watched on in a confused state.

"Is she talking about...?" Silver’s sentence was cut short by Sohlia who chirruped like a morning bird.

"Aselia! Yes, I am talking about her. Isn’t that her name? The one you hid away and cut all ties with."

~Thwack~

A loud sound of a slap echoed in the room and everyone jerked their heads to find Silver had slapped Sohlia hard against her face. He then bent down and stared directly into her eyes before grating out:

"I am not a gentleman like Xiran. I have no issues putting dirtbags like you in their place," Silver so wanted to throw it in her face that Aselia was not only his student but also his partner. The thought that this woman had hurt her, disturbed his mental peace. He could understand Xiran’s reaction.

Red finger marks were embedded in her pristine skin and she spat out blood from her mouth. She jerked herself to get free but her strength and powers were gone for a few hours. Sohlia yelled in anger:

"You will pay for this."

While Xiran’s heart filled with contentment at Silver’s action Rubisha was stunned to see him in such an angered state. First Xiran now him. Who was this girl they kept referring to? Could it be that both Xiran and Silver were in love with her and she chose one of them and Sohlia hurt her?

So many questions were birthed in her brain, leaving her utterly confused. But she kept her mouth shut to see how everything unravelled, she would ask Silver later.

"I am in no mood to pay for anything so maybe I should kill you right here so all your threats will end," the composure Silver showed pissed her off more.

"You people are finished, wait till Xifin hears of this, wait till your father hears of this," she sneered at Xiran who was amusedly watching her. His anger had evaporated a bit seeing Silver slap her.

"No one will hear of this Sohlia. For we have all the data related to your so-called company. Which you have built by merging many smaller firms and businesses, either by threatening their owners or simply killing them. If you told a soul about all of this then all of the data will be made public along with your and Xifin’s identities. So think very wisely about how you want to play your next cards," this time it was Rivan’s calm words which blazed her world.

She opened her mouth but no sound came out, she jerked her head from one to the other and they all stared back at her with aversion.

"What do you people want?" she finally blurted out, her shoulders slumped and all cockiness died.

"We want you to leave Rubisha’s company alone and change your style of doing business. Let other people run their own companies and yes stay out of our affairs and I mean all of us," Xiran pointed to the three people with him and Sohlia nodded her head in defeat.

"And I have let Aselia go, so stop hunting her down. I know you people are hell-bent on finding her," Xiran continued.

"That’s not in my hands Xiran. It’s only in the hands of your father. But you won’t even find enough parts of her to be buried from what I have heard your father has planned for your little elf," she replied with all seriousness but that mocking tone could be deciphered by all of them.

His eyes turned so dark like fathomless pits that could have devoured her but he knew she only wanted to rile him up and bask in the agony he was feeling.

"We are done here, send her on her way and if she does anything to harm Rubisha or her company. Silver you are more than welcome to kill her," Xiran gave his final verdict and briskly walked out of the room. He was suffocating being so near that evil woman.

"I will gladly do so," Silver answered and grabbing Sohlia by her hair he breezed out in that throaty voice of his, "Be very afraid of me before doing anything to any of the people who were present in this room for I don’t carry a shard of mercy for vampires like you."

The tone of his voice and the deadly look on his face had Sohlia gulping hard and nodding her head at him.
