Chapter 325: The Woman With Black Hair

His words seemed to have affected her deeply but satisfied Rubisha. For former sulked while the latter couldn’t hold back a peel of laughter. This enraged the woman with black hair.

"So you believe you can humiliate me and get away with it? I am going to rip off your heads," she threatened and her eyes narrowed before she could instruct her guards Silver secretly gestured to Rubisha, who pulled out a mask from her bag and covered her face.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye after that, as their guest ordered her guards to charge at him, while Silver threw the smoke bomb at them, engulfing and filling the room with a grey haze. The guards were knocked unconscious within seconds but the woman was stronger and the smoke was taking time affecting her senses.

She charged at Silver in full rage, shouting profanities, but he was ready for her. As she clutched his neck, he injected her with power-subduing serum. The smoke had reduced her speed so she took the full brunt of the serum and dropped down, unconscious.

Silver gazed disgustingly at her and moved towards Rubisha. "You alright?" he anxiously questioned and she nodded her head. Silver extended his arms and cradled her in them.

As he was about to exit the door, it flung open and two figures tried to enter but the smoke kept them at bay.

"Rubisha!" Rivan’s fearful voice echoed from the door. It was difficult to peer inside with thick smoke. He squinted his eyes to find his sister. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"She is fine, I am bringing her out," Silver called out and carried her outside. Xiran and Rivan were standing there holding their breaths with creased foreheads and shocked eyes.

Seeing his sister with a mask on, Rivan quickly stepped forward and tried to receive her from Silver’s arms but she held onto him so Silver scowled at him and asked:

"Who are you?" although he could see the resemblance man held with Rubisha.

"I am her brother," Rivan’s eyes softened seeing his sister after such a long time. A satisfied smile spread across his face. He asked with concern:

"You ok? Did she hurt you?" he slowly removed her mask.

"I am and no. Silver Wolf saved me," she got down from Silver’s arms and faced her brother and his best friend. As much as she wanted to deny it her heart slightly swelled seeing Rivan.

"What happened inside? We discovered who the CEO of the rival company was and came as quickly as we could," Xiran was standing behind Rivan with his arms crossed. His greyish orbs still held some animosity towards Silver.

"I handled the situation, she is inside. I injected her with a power-subduing serum but she will regain consciousness soon. We need to bind her before that," Silver extracted special handcuffs from his pocket and held them in front of him.

"I will do it, she is extremely dangerous," Xiran snatched the cuffs from Silver’s hand and walked towards the room. Silver facepalmed himself.

"It still contains tons of smoke, don’t act like a hot head and let me do it," Silver walked ahead of him and extended his hand so Xiran could hand them over. Annoyance flawed his flawless face but he saw the sense in Silver’s words and handed over the cuffs.

Silver took them and entered the room closing the door behind him.

"Who is he?" Rivan inquired from Rubisha, holding her near him.

"He is a vampire hunter," Xiran answered before Rubisha could and something in his tone told Rivan that Xiran was holding back about something.

"How do you know him?"

"I just do," Xiran’s lips were stretched in a thin line and Rivan knew he would have to discuss this later with him.

"He was hired by the Mayor to help keep the city safe and he has done an amazing job. Saved countless lives and reduced the attacks by sixty per cent," the pride in her tone and the twinkle in her eyes were apparent.

As they stood there talking, Silver soon dragged the unconscious woman out of the conference room, he was clutching her hair and her limp body was being dragged behind him.

"Bound the guards in the conference room, they are out for hours but, where to put her?" he asked in a bored tone and Xiran couldn’t hold back the snicker that escaped him.

"Now that is something I have never been able to do and if my brother saw this, he would totally lose his mind, not that I mind," Xiran shrugged, his eyes shining with a mischievous twinkle, a broad smile had adorned his lips.

"Your brother?" Silver raised his left brow at him.

"Why do you think we both rushed here? She is my brother’s girlfriend. Both seem to be deeply in love," Xiran explained and Silver and Rubisha understood their sudden arrival and why he said that she was extremely dangerous.

"Seriously?" Rubisha asked in bewilderment, staring at the unconscious woman who had threatened her a few moments ago. She led them to a secluded room near the conference room.

"Yes! Dealing with her means dealing with my brother and dealing with my brother means dealing with Phantom," the smile and mischief disappeared from Xiran’s face and were replaced by disgust, an iciness descended in his eyes.

Silver propped her on a chair and bound her hands behind her back and stepped back.

"Remember to not give her any vital information which will put the lives of our loved ones in jeopardy. Because giving her any information means giving it to Phantom. So all of you keep your emotions in check," Rivan instructed them and everyone nodded. His eyes were on Xiran, this was going to be such a test for him.

All four of them waited for her to wake up and they didn’t have to do it for long.

She stirred and opened those deep blue emotionless eyes of hers and they fell instantly on Xiran. He was standing right in front of her with his muscular arms crossed and stoic face.

"Hello! Sohlia," he greeted her calmly.
